If you're looking for quality food at an affordable price, this is the place to eat. The buffet has a great selection of food and there is a salad bar, too. The salad bar has your typical salad items that you would expect at a salad bar. The items are fresh though that's the important thing. You can choose between either a grilled chicken thigh or fried chicken. There is also chop steak and fish for those that like seafood. This is probably one of the better tasting buffets I've had in a while. It was busy on a Saturday, but we were seated quickly. You can choose the buffet or order from a menu. The buffet is self serve, they kept the food coming out and everyone seemed to enjoy their food chocies. We ordered food by door dash tonight from The Grecian Steakhouse. Food was very good after heating it up! We are on vacation and staying at The Sleep Inn in Dyersburg for the night. After ordering we waited and waited more. No food and we were all starving. We thought maybe they left it at the front desk. We opened the door to our room and the food had been sitting in the floor for 30 minutes. No knock on the door! They just left it by our door and left. The food was ice cold. That was $101.00! We realize the steak house had no control what happened after it left their restaurant but Door Dash sucked as far as the ones representing the restaurant. Went here with my family. While on our road trip we stopped by to eat. I ordered a porterhouse steak medium and the appetizer platter. Once I received my steak it was so well done the knife I was given could not cut the steak. I told the waitress to please return the steak that it is very well done. Once she returned with a new steak the edges were very well done and the center was still blue rare, at this time my family was already finished eating and we had to get back on the road which was very unfortunate. Also the mozzarella sticks were served cold. My mom also ordered a medium Grecian steak and it was so well done the inside meat was white. We stop here often with family whenever we're in the area, most of the food and selection is always great, the prices are super affordable as well. The downside is, it's usually VERY busy, the staff tends to never bring refills and just stands in the way cleaning the buffet often, and the bathrooms are not handicap accessible. This is the best Grecian I've ever eaten at have been going here for over five years but first time leaving a review actually never thought only told the staff. We drive over 30 minutes even though there's one within 3 minutes. The food is really good so many items to choose from we even bring our out of town family here every year when here for our reunion. Traveling to Memphis from the Detroit area on the path less traveled made for a "stop where you can" strategy. We were hungry and wanted a meal and Dyersburg was the only game for miles so we stopped. We wanted a "to go" spot so we could keep driving but it was slim pickings and we originally passed this place up because a "Steakhouse" didn't seem quick. After a perusal of the area we decided it was our best option and stopped in. While waiting for someone to take out to go order we realized it was more of a buffet. Since no one had come to assist we decided it would be faster to eat the buffet. The place was cute and adequately clean. As for food, the salad bar was spot on, the entree food was pretty average. Not bad, but clearly food built for a buffet. And, the desserts should be deserted, what we had was terrible. So the only really bad thing was the dessert. The rest was straight up "fine". So feel free to stop, but don't ask me what makes this place "Grecian" because I have no idea. It's more of an Old Country Buffet type deal. read more

For lunch on Wednesday they had excellent smoked BBQ, spaghetti, fried chicken, BBQ bologna, as well as other types of Grilled chicken, veggies, potatoes, the works. The salad bar has it all from cottage cheese to ham. When they cook like this, it's the best buffet in town. And oh, the peach cobbler is excellent and doesn't seem to be cheap. It's homemade. Yum yum yum! Before even turning into the parking lot we knew it must be good because the parking lot was packed. Everybody in town must have been there. We weren't even sure if we were going to find parking or not. Luckily, we found a place back behind in the extended parking lot. I believe they had to make a larger parking lot due to their success and popularity. Even though the place was packed. We were seated promptly. Our waitress, Kaci, was wonderful. Greeting us with a sweet smile with her southern charm was a delight. Not only was she a great server but she catered to my six year old son who didn't want any salad and she quickly brought him some macaroni as I ate my salad. He ate two bowls, plus one of the HUGE chicken strips and many of his French fries. My daughter watched in astonishment on how much he ate and loved his food. It was the most we've ever seen him eat, especially at a restaurant. You know if he thought the food was great it must be as he's the biggest food critic. My daughter ordered the Fried Chicken sandwich. Boy oh boy was it a x large sandwich. She loved it but couldn't eat it all. I ordered the ribeye with the Spicy seasoning after ensuring it would be gluten free. It was one of the best steaks I've ever ordered. I did order it medium rare (asked for it to be a tad more rare), unfortunately it was closer to medium, but it was still super delicious. Oh my word, this place had the best southern-style buffet at the best price ever! Was staying the night in a local hotel and picked this place for dinner because of its popularity with the locals. The flavors and variety on the buffet were outstanding. The fried chicken was perhaps the best I have ever had in my life! The BBQ ribs were tender and delicious. The fried okra was a show stopper. The noodles and veggies were all winners. The desserts were all fantastic too (and we sampled a lot of them). Loved the soft ice cream too. Was a ho-hum dining experience. We opted for the buffet, which wasn't great, but wasn't that bad either. Service was average. Environment was pretty good. The actual worst part was 2 Spanish speaking staff refilling the buffet bins. In Spanish, they made comments about myself and others, specifically myself, being "fat white pigs that just eat sh*t and drip piss from their giant zits". What the didn't know was that I speak fluent Spanish and understood what they had just said about me and the other customers at the buffet. In Spanish, I told them to shut up, (cleaned up for this review), and they both high tailed it away from the buffet, not to be seen again during our dining experience Would we eat there again? Probably. But only as a last resort if alternative restaurants are not open. Recommend them? Again, probably. Can't really fault the restaurant itself. In these Biden times, finding good help is difficult, actually almost impossible. So, I feel like once the management reads this review, they will, or should, give the scum employees the boot and replace them with better staff. read more
