The food and service exceeded my expectations !! Noah and Eric were amazing on taking care of us for our visit !! The best shrimp platter, gyro, tzatziki and fiery feta dip I have ever had ! I compared the quality to Greece because I just recently came back from Chania, Greece and it was very much like as amazing as it was in Greece !! Great tasting Mediterranean cuisine made with high quality ingredients. When I ate here for the first time, I thought it was just another casual sit down spot to get a quick bite but this place is actually a nice restaurant with some upscale vibes. The cost of the food reflects the ambiance as it's not exactly cheap, especially when you eat here for dinner but it's hard to deny the taste and the quality of the food. I usually get the filet mignon and the chicken as they both come out tender and very juicy. Everything else that comes with your protein - the pita bread, rice, veggies, and sauces are all on point as well. They also have great service and make sure you have everything you need. Danny, who was our server, was very attentive and helpful with all our requests and questions. All in all, this may be one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've ever eaten at and I definitely see my family and I becoming regulars here. read more

Greek Yum!!! This Bistro was delicious. We started with the chicken wings. So good. The spicy sauce was a perfect addition. I had the chicken bowl. The chicken was so tender & juicy. I had great Greek food in San Francisco several years ago and I've been looking for great Greek Food in Southern California ever since. Greek Bistro has a 4.8 review average with over 4000 reviews written, so it seemed like a great place to check out. I kept it simple this time! Ordered a saganaki, which was rich with savory flavor and flambeed tableside and I had a gyro that was very filling for a lunch! I need to come back to have more of their appetizers. They have a happy hour from 2:30-5:00 on weekdays and Saturdays, so that seems like a great day to come back and update my review! The saganaki was worth the trip and I look forward to having more here. read more

Good service and great food! I ordered the Moussaka and it was really good, I loved the flavors and it was really filling-I couldn't finish it. Also really snowed the side salad it came with. My mom says she really denied get chicken salad and we shared the babaganoush appetizer. Loved the babaganoush! It had smoked paprika on/in it and that made me keep going back for more. I'm not a huge fan of the colored lighting they use inside, but overall it's a nice but relaxed atmosphere. Their wine selection is a little limited & the ones I tried were just ok read more

After choosing Greek Bistro to celebrate a birthday, we made reservations and dropped in for dinner. The friendly staff quickly took our drink orders and returned with my Blue Moon and a frosty glass. Greek's menu had all sorts of Greek dishes; salads, plates, wraps and appetizers. There were so many wonderful choices, but I decided upon the gyro wrap and a side of seasoned fries. The gyro was the most substantial wrap I had ever ordered. It was deliciously large with plenty of lamb, greens, tomatoes, etc. It was fantastic, but honestly, I could have made due with half of it...lol. Paired with the Blue Moon, it was more than satisfying. The service is great, the food is great!...I'll be coming back to try some of their other dishes soon. read more

I've come here at least a couple of times with my parents. The food is really good, and the service is excellent. It's always difficult to judge these strip-mall places from the exterior, especially in Orange County, because the sign and the color of the building make it look very casual--and it is casual--but this is a real sit-down restaurant. You could very easily bring a date here without looking like a cheapskate. We've only been here at night, so the inside is very dark in my mind. Dark-as-in-romantic, yes, but also dark-as-in-you-might-not-see-all-of-your-food. Because of the darkness and the way the tables are set up, you have tons of privacy at your table, so this might be an ideal date spot, but maybe reserve it for a fourth or fifth date, or at least for someone you're really into. The first time we came, it wasn't long after things opened up after COVID, so we were skittish about eating inside. Although the patio was closed, they were very accommodating to let us eat outside. The heat lamp near our table didn't work very well, but it wasn't that cold, and our server was a champ. He kept coming outside to check on us even though I could tell by watching that he was very busy with his inside tables. We left a generous tip, which he well deserved. They have always made us feel very welcome. It's super conveniently located right off the freeway, although it can be easy to miss the entrance to the parking lot. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. The food quality is hazardous--the Greek chicken salad I ordered was spoiled and made me sick instantly. To make matters worse, the manager is unprofessional and argumentative. He offered zero empathy and refused to help with a refund. There is a total lack of accountability here, and the staff's entitled attitude makes the experience even worse. He suggested that I try to get my money back through DoorDash instead of offering me a refund himself. They treat their customers like scammers rather than valued guests and up-charge for everything. Incredibly rude staff and even worse food. I wouldn't be surprised if they intentionally put something in the food I ordered to make me sick. read more

For me, one of the best tasting Greek food restaurant. I ordered the combination plate with Lamb and Beef. The tenderness of the meat was perfect and rest of the plate just was absorbed by it. This place is great. Had the lunch special with a chicken bowl. It was awesome. We had to ask for a box. Loukoumades were insane. It was lunch so it didn't count as desert, which is a plus. Haven't been here in so long because it's just not convenient for me but since I was in the area, I had to get food! They have an online ordering to-go system and it was so simple and food was ready on time. I got the Dolmas which are literally the best because it was warm and had perfect fillings in it, the chicken wings which were tasty, and an entree with chicken. This place has always been a favorite and it hasn't changed. I love eating here. read more

"I mean we all knew the food would be good once we tired that heavenly Baba Ghanoush." "I'm not easy to please but this Baba Ghanoush makes me so happy" are the words that left my friends' mouths. The food was to die for. I cannot express how every aspect of the food was amazing: the Baba Ghanoush, Tzatziki, Gyro Meat, Rice, etc. All just wonderful. A bit pricey, but it will either fill you up or give you amazing left overs! Then the desserts were inexplainable. Their Napoleon an ice cream pastry dessert, fluffy puff pastry layered with sweet French vanilla cream, served alongside ice cream to drape on top adorned with a sweet topping elevating the vanilla some place new, was a delight to the tongue. Then their Greek Sunday was an extreme surprise but had the table fighting. Vanilla ice cream topped with Carmel drizzle, pistachio, and othering flavors, decorated by fried pita chips dusted with cinnamon sugar. (Which I must admit reminded me so heavily of some Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. Furthermore as they were leaving and the Sunday sat unfinished, I downed a fried pita chip because they were so good :P) It was such a wonderful evening here! By the way Danny was a charm! Super sweet, and almost got away with getting us all to get a dessert, and almost slipped by with getting someone to get another beer! A great energy and super patient with us. (And just since he asked, and was so sweet, I did create a Yelp account to fulfill his wish to post a review specifically on yelp and not a differing platform!) Make sure you go to the restaurant! This is really nice place to enjoy excellent Greek food, (though I have a,lot more to try) also the atmosphere is really nice and relaxing. Service has always been great and portion size good. They do have an outdoor patio but it's next to parking lot so might be an option for overflow nights. We do tend to get their kabobs which we have tried them all. Meat tender and tasty seasoned perfectly. Appetizers we have tried them all trio dips each very good and splurged once on the Saganati served at table side with flaming cheese and pita. We did go early a few times and enjoyed happy hour prices on wine. read more

Menu looked great online but when we got there the prices were 20% higher than advertised. I thought I would let the server know so that they could update their website. He replied that it was because "some third party " was doing it for them and they couldn't change it. I told him that didn't make any sense and he replied."that's what the owner told me to say". Meet the Business Owner: Karlo T.

We are a proud family owned and operated restaurant. We have 5 family members cooking in the kitchen and 3 more of us serving it in the front of the house. Greek Bistro was founded in 2006 in Henderson Nevada. and the original location was sold in late 2017. Our new location in Laguna Hills, CA opened in June of 2018. We pride our self in the quality of the food we serve. Everything and I mean everything is made from scratch and we use the best of the best products only. Products like Krono's Gyro and imported Olive Oil from Greece, all of the dishes are prepared fresh to order. The vision we had on this location was to create an amazing ambiance both inside and outside and wanted to give the community a restaurant that feels like you would pay more than $30 per person, but actually spend less then $20 per person. The quality and taste of our food is truly second to none. We put our heart and soul into this restaurant and have now seen our vision come to life.

It is deeply disappointing to see this kind of treatment toward people of color, especially from the owner of a business whose name itself reflects a Spanish background. No customer should have to fear being harassed, threatened, or discriminated against simply because of their race or appearance. I strongly believe this incident should be investigated and reported to the appropriate civil rights authorities, including the California Civil Rights System (CRD/CCRS), so that this type of alleged discrimination can be properly addressed. No one should feel unsafe walking into a local business.

I had an absolutely fantastic lunch today at Greek Bistro, and it's easy to see why this place has an almost perfect rating - it's definitely a 5-star experience! The parking lot is a decent size, shared with other businesses, and I had no trouble at all finding a spot right near the restaurant. We had a 1 PM reservation for four, and the host was super friendly, greeting us warmly and confirming our booking. We were promptly seated in a comfortable booth, and our drink orders were taken right away, with our food order following shortly after. The food, across the board, was truly exceptional. I ordered the gyro wrap with fries, and those fries took me by surprise - the seasoning was incredible, and the texture and crunch were absolutely perfect. But then you get to the gyro, the true star of the meal. Everything in it was fantastic. The meat was perfectly tender, not tough at all, and you could tell all the ingredients were fresh, giving it a wonderful homemade taste. My wife got the chicken plate and said it was just as delicious. Our friends even ordered an extra side of seasoned fries for the table because they were that good! Our waiter was incredibly attentive, making sure our waters were refilled and checking on our meals to ensure everything was tasting great. We love an attentive waiter, YASSS! While we didn't get dessert, I know I'll have to go back to try something sweet. If I lived closer, I would be here all the time. Our Server Tim recommended some amazing appetizers and dishes for us to try. I highly recommend trying the Filet, and Lamb plate along with the Saganaki! Tim was very patient with all of our little kids and made the dinner special with a complimentary desert for my mothers birthday! I see other reviews talking about high prices, yes it is a little pricy but in my opinion you get what you pay for! The food is very good and fresh and the portions on the plates are large to where most of us ended up having leftovers to take home. 5/5 stars for the service and food. This is one my favorite places to go to. Great neighbourhood, seating settings, really kind and friendly staff, real quality, great tasting food. You can go with the entire family or just on your own. These guys ensure, to make your visit very relaxed and enjoyable. I highly recommend you trying this little, cozy, great greek restuarant. Among their great staff, I would like to thank Rob who always greets every one with such a genuine smile, and quick service, as well as, Bryan who did a great job serving my table today. Obviously you'll notice Vinny who is always around making sure you're loving everything about your dining there. Kitchen staff always do an awesome job and I love their cooking. When we arrived, we were the only people in the shop. The owner was extremely friendly and started a long and fun conversation about pro football ("soccer") and his sons' team and their games. He gave us a couple of small sample plates while we waited for our ordered food, and told us to grab fountain drinks too at no charge. Our ordered food then arrived, and as we ate he switched the conversation to the lack of sports and business opportunities during the Covid pandemic and how he proudly didn't get vaccinated. I had been prioritized for a vaccination due to my profession and gotten it, and as soon as I mentioned that (in conversation, not confrontationally cos it was so long ago anyway and the subject doesn't need to be divisive) his mood and attitude to my partner and I soured. The conversation abruptly and awkwardly ceased, and we felt very unwelcome. Sure enough, when I went to pay the bill we were charged for the supposedly-free fountain drinks, and I didn't feel I could risk furthering ill-feeling towards us by disputing it. We left, regretting our choice of dinner. The food itself was at least good (albeit not outstanding compared to other local Mediterranean options) hence the star rating I've still given, but with the extra fountain drink cost that we wouldn't otherwise have incurred it turned into an expensive meal. In addition, and needless to say, the negative interaction left a very sour taste. I can't see myself going back. TL:dr; Go for the food, or get delivery, but beware that offers of 'free' items may not remain so.

(Note, we had NO bill , they had to look up the table after describing where we sat) So basically, food was an 8 (not sure to rate it higher since we ran out of water), and the service was a 0. (Did the waitress quit mid shift or did she decide the singer was more important) Oh and the table next to us (who appeared to have a working waiter) was SCREAMING into her phone with the speaker on for at least 30 mins...ugh.. it was a bad day at the Caspian.

I also tried Lemon and apple sodas made with 100% natural beet sugar, which was something I'd never had before. The sweetness tasted much cleaner and lighter than a regular Coke, and it paired really well with the food. I was lucky enough to visit on the day of their Summer Concert, so after dinner I sat outside and enjoyed the live music. Families were relaxing on the lawn, kids were playing, people were walking their dogs along the nearby trails, and everyone was simply enjoying the beautiful summer evening. There was actually about a 40 minute wait to sit down for a party at four. Parties of two were able to sit down a little quicker because they have lots of two tops. I've only ordered breakfast, although they have plenty of sandwiches and salads. I saw a stack of onion rings piled high that looked pretty tasty. The menu has a wide variety that will satisfy just about anybody.
