Exceeded every expectation and has quickly become one of my favorite Persian restaurants in Southern California. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the elegant décor. The stunning ceiling lights are a real centerpiece and create a warm, inviting atmosphere that's both modern and upscale. The food was exceptional. I ordered the chicken combo but substituted the beef koobideh for chicken koobideh, and it was absolutely the right choice. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. The koobideh was outstanding--without question one of the best koobidehs I've had anywhere in SoCal. It had the perfect balance of seasoning, was incredibly tender, and paired beautifully with the fragrant saffron rice and grilled vegetables. The menu is also reasonably priced for the quality, with koobideh plates starting around $24 and premium combinations like the Soltani at about $38. The portions are generous, making it an excellent value for authentic Persian cuisine. The service deserves special recognition as well. Everyone was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making sure our experience was outstanding. Water glasses were always full, food arrived promptly, and we never felt rushed. If you're looking for authentic Persian food in Orange County, Heaven on Fork is absolutely worth the visit. Between the incredible food, beautiful ambiance, attentive service, and great value, this place earns every bit of its five stars. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Safe to say I'm obsessed with this place! Everything I've tried has been amazing. Make sure to call ahead to see if they have tahdig though because when we went they were all out! The tahchin is my favorite dish - so crispy and savory.

I love Persian cuisine. The abundance of flavors and spices culminate into a perfect bite each time and you can't put your fork down. Heaven On A Fork ingredients used are fresh, lettuce is crisp and meats are tender. Very authentic! We dined here on Tuesday 7/7/26 and to find they recently moved locations around the corner however the Yelp had not updated the address. Lucky that it was in the same complex and within walking distance. They literally were taking down the signs above. Food was exceed my expectations. We ordered Mediterranean Fries. It came with pickled onions which added a surprising taste. Next, the Avocado Salad was delicious! Crisp lettuce and amazing dressing tastes of cardamom made the dish stand out. The Koobideh Combo with beef and chicken and basmati rice was excellent! Service needed improvement. Our waiter looked less enthusiastic about serving, could have been a summer job. Didn't check on our table much aside from delivering our dishes. Ambiance was nice and on the higher end side. Very lux and a place where business people could do business over lunch. The table on either side of us was doing that.

The restaurant does not take reservations--it's first come, first served--but it's absolutely worth the wait. The interior is beautifully designed with a warm and inviting atmosphere. All of the kebabs were delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The tahdig with three stews was also outstanding, with crispy rice and rich, authentic flavors. Highly recommend if you're looking for excellent Persian food!

I've been coming here regularly since they had the older place. The new place is gorgeous. Every single time I've visited, the experience has been consistently excellent. The service is exceptional. The hosts, waitstaff, and owner are genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive. Even when we've shown up close to closing or without much notice, they've gone out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. The restaurant is almost always busy, which says a lot, yet they somehow manage to get us seated with surprisingly little wait. You can tell the team works hard to keep everything running smoothly. As for the food, it's the best in the area. I've tried many different dishes over multiple visits, and everything has been consistently fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The quality has never disappointed me. If you're wondering whether it's still worth visiting after the move, my experience has been a definite yes. The food, service, and hospitality have remained top-notch, and this continues to be one of my favorite restaurants. Highly recommended!

Great ambience and lighting. Service was friendly and food was amazing. Standout dishes were the chicken koobideh and tahchin. Fries were a pleasant surprise topped with pickled onions and cheese. Salad was refreshing and citrusy. Good shareable quantity and nice plating. Will definitely be a place that we will come back to often.

New location update for July 2026: the food remains amazing as always, and the new decor is simply breathtaking. Our favorite Mediterranean dining spot has just elevated itself to our favorite dining experience. This new beautiful location features a dining area that can accommodate over 100 guests. Newly located on the corner in the same shopping center. Minor new hires service delays and attentiveness, but we are confident it should improve with time. Quality and taste of food is still among the best anywhere. Definitely worth our 30-minute drive to dine here. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding service. Everything was fresh and well prepared, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend! We had the following: 1) Gheimeh Bademjan 2) Beef Koobideh 3) Zeytoon Parvardeh 4) Adas Polo

We stopped by after a day in OC and had mixed feelings. Seating was quick, but service was slow to start -- we had to ask for a water jug while others were served right away. They were also out of tahdig, which we'd been looking forward to. The food was decent, though portions felt small for the price

We came here last week for my husband and brother birthday. Our coworker recommended this restaurant to my brother. It's a cozy restaurant family owned and very friendly. We ordered: Mediterranean fries- very good, crispy fries with cheese, garlic sauce and pickled onions. Al Nazik- this dish is new to us and we love it! It comes out on a sizzling hot plate. It has egg plant sauce topped with chunks of beef koobideh, and veggies. This pairs well with the complementary flat bread. Definitely getting this every time we go. Combo koobideh- I love the chicken the most tbh. It's juicy and flavorful. Not dry like most places we've had. Chicken kebab- was good but we prefer the koobideh. Lamb stew- this comes out hot sizzling pot covered with the flat bread dough. This dish is very good and we loved it. We've tried many Mediterranean places and Heaven on a Fork hits the spot I would highly recommend this spot.

As an Iranian, my family and I have high standards when it comes to Persian food, and this has quickly become our favorite spot in Orange County. Everything from the beautiful atmosphere to the warm, attentive service made for an incredible experience. Edrina, our server, was so kind, patient, and accommodating with our large group, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed from start to finish. We ordered the tahdig appetizer, fresh bread, mast-o-khiar, and several kabob plates. I had the Chicken Soltani, and both the koobideh and chicken were incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The portions are very generous, and every dish tasted fresh and authentic. It's not easy to find Persian restaurants that get everything right, but this one absolutely does. We left happy, full, and already talking about our next visit. Highly recommend!

Needless to say I sat there waiting for my two to-go orders for what felt like an eternity. A lot of people flowed in after me and they were all just waiting, it was weird since it was empty when I walked in and then seeing 6 tables of people with no food. I thought I ordered the cheaper lunch special of chicken koobideh and beef koobideh, but he punched in the full portion instead. I didn't really mind as it just became extra food for dinner. But I feel like if someone is going in at the beginning of lunch time, they would be looking to order lunch menu stuff? I guess I can't expect people to do what I my logic would do. The two koobidehs is pretty much the same thing I order at any of these places because I prefer ground meat that's tender and juicy and this place did not disappoint. They were cooked to perfections with just a little crisp on the meats. Not much else to say since I only had a basic meal....meals

We ordered the combo beef and chicken plate, the beef gyro plate, and two falafel on the side. The falafel didn't look impressive, but they were surprisingly excellent--moist, flavorful, and honestly better than Sababa's. I'll definitely order six next time. The gyro plate was solid, not overly greasy or heavy, and the seasoning was just right. I wasn't a fan of the hummus, which had a bitter aftertaste, but my partner liked the tanginess, so that may come down to personal preference. On the combo plate, the chicken stood out: juicy and tender. The beef seemed to be a leaner cut and was a bit dry. I'd probably skip this particular beef kebab next time and try a different one. The saffron rice and grilled tomato were a nice complement. The plate also came with jumbo naan, served warm and smelling amazing, definitely a highlight.

Persians are very picky and judgy when it comes to their cuisine. Everyone is a chef and of it doesn't bring back the nostalgia of your childhood at grandmas it doesnt pass the test. I judge a place based on their koobieh. Lets be honest, if your koobieh sucks, Houston we have a problem! Tonight, I decided to order the lamb shank with baghali polo, along with a family style appetizer consisting of mast-o-khiar, hummas, kashkeh-bademjoon, salad shirazi, and a side of mausto-mousir. My cousin ordered Tahdig for the table with different toppings. Everyone at the table ordered Soltanis, Chicken Barg and other options. Lets talk about ambiance: when you enter you are greeted by ornate art, calm atmosphere and fresh flowers. Love the lighting, its soft and inviting. Pouya our server was kind and friendly. He single handedly helped manover a "game of thrones" type style between my cousin and myself trying to sneak in our credit-cards before the meal even started so it would be taken care of ahead of time. The persian bill paying struggle is real. IYKYK. Lets just say, this girl won that one against my guy cousin with the parents watching dinner and show. Hehhee. The highlight for me was the bread ,butter, onions served first. I was hungry and the bread was made in house and fresh. It was warm, soft and paired well with the onions, and butter. I ordered more throughout the meal to eat with the mausto-mousir ( shallot and yogurt dip). Hands down out of the appetizer, the tahdigh ( crispy rice), khashk bademjoon ( eggplant dip), cucumber dip, shallot with yogurt dip were the stars of the night. The beef shank with Baghali polo was top on my list. The dill/lima beans rice paired well with the lamb shank. It was tender, tasty ( didnt have a gamey taste, or smell) and that says something for a girl born here. Kids like me born here, usually dont touch lamb because of the gamey, smell . So eating it at Hatam was a great experience for me. I would order this again. Our family had a great night out in a chill environment, devoid of any triggers for me that may have caused some health issues and it was a needed break. The ADA parking and easy access is also appreciated. Overall, I would recommend Hatam. I found out from my mom, that Hatam has also been the "go to" caterer for her parties so, that says something about quality of food and meeting expectations my mom has in place.10/10 Please note doing 1/2 salad and 1/2 rice will be $3.00 extra.
