    Gyro Sandwich
    Shannon M.

This was my first time trying and will definitely be a repeat customer! The veggies in the gyros are incredibly fresh and delicious. I tried the gyro with lamb & beef, which was a classic. My friend tried the chicken gyro and said it was also good. We split pita & hummus and a side of falafel. The falafel was was a tad dry, but dipped in the tzatziki sauce was perfect. The hummus was good -- a tad on the oily side, but tasty. With the amount of food you get, it's a fantastic deal for the price.

I stopped in here since this looked like the healthiest option at the mall food court. The guy at the counter was very nice and helpful. I decided on the Mediterranean salad with no cheese or oil and an order of falafels. It came out pretty quickly. The falafels came with a ton of hummus. I enjoyed all the hummus and put most of the falafels on my salad. The falafels we're pretty crispy and tasty. Overall good meal. It also looked like they had a nice tea selection. I would definitely recommend stopping in here.

This was a nice surprise to find in the florence mall. The falafel and the side of hummus and pita were not the best I've had but the best in northern Kentucky. And at $3.50 each, they're an unbeatable deal.

    Vegan Mediterranean Sandwich

I ordered a Mediterranean sandwich. I received a pile of ingredients in a container. Your name even includes the word "burrito" and you can't put the ingredients in a vessel so customers can eat your food. Pathetic.

Beautiful Greek gyro salad, so tasty!

Let me just say this. Skyline Chili is one of my favorite decadent comfort meals. It is not health…read morefood. It is not subtle. It is a beautiful pile of happiness. So when I saw they were open at 6:00 in the morning during a layover in Cincinnati, I knew the angels were singing and my day had purpose. Breakfast? Chili and cheese wrap. Like a responsible adult. And it was absolutely stunning delicious. Decadent. Cheesy. Warm. The kind of meal that says, "You have nowhere important to be," even though you very much do. Now here is the issue. This is an airport location. Time is not just money, it is literally whether or not you end up in Cleveland by accident. You need a minimum one hour and twenty minute layover to even consider ordering. Anything less and you are playing boarding pass roulette. They are that slow. At one point there was a person standing at the front counter staring thoughtfully at the ceiling tiles like they were studying architectural history, while the lone hero in the kitchen was trying to crank out orders for the entire airport. It was like watching a two person play where only one actor knew their lines. The food is delicious. Truly. Worthy of devotion. But the process moves at a pace that suggests no planes are actually leaving today. So I have to ding them one star for the time warp and give them four stars overall. Come hungry. Come early. And maybe stretch before you stand in line.

And that's all it took. Ambiance - I'd say the vibe is chill and calm. You can walk in and go unnoticed or you can hang and joke with the regulars. The entire experience was enjoyable

Seems like Peewee's is a hidden gem…read more We stopped by there for breakfast last weekend. We had known the place existed because we had friends who played volleyball there (they have a sand volleyball court next to the restaurant), but had never had the occasion to stop by. This place does not pretend to be anything else besides what it is - an unpretentious, locally-owned/locally-serving bar/restaurant where you know exactly what you'll get. I loved the old signage on the walls and the overall vibe. It's just a straight-up local comfort joint. Food was not anything to write home about but it also was exactly what I was looking for, if that makes sense; filling, short-order breakfast fare. I'm not coming to a place like Peewee's looking for bold gastronomic experiences - I want strong coffee and fatty breakfast food. Apparently Peewee actually came out from the kitchen as well and was greeting and joking with some of the regulars - super cool to see. On the whole, had a great experience here, and would definitely come back.

The inside was nice, a couple tables available if you decide to eat/drink your meal there. They offer a quick pick up service as well if that's more your style. My interaction with the employee was minimal as I just simply ran in, said my name, he handed over my food and I walked out. I got the smoothie and quesadilla combo meal that comes with a side. I got the Blueberry Bliss smoothie with the energizer added (extra charge) with the three cheese chicken quesadilla and a side of sun chips. Let's start with the smoothie: I personally liked it. It's very fruit forward like a smoothie should be and not overly sweet. The addition of the energizer supplement also helped me get through a long day at work! I was exhausted and after drinking this it helped bring me back to life so to speak. You also get a pretty decently sized portion for the price. I would definitely visit to get another smoothie here in the future. Now onto the quesadilla... epic fail here. From the photos and the price, I was expecting a quesadilla with a decent amount of filling, but I was sadly disappointed. The quesadilla was so thin and it only got worse. It lacked flavor and was super dry. It needs some type of sauce or something to help it out. The quesadilla was $7 (smoothie was $4.99 + the extra for the supplement addition), which means it definitely wasn't worth that. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Maybe their other food options are better, but I'm not sure I want to spend the extra money to find out. In terms of value, I don't think this full meal was worth the $16 that I paid for it, especially with the sad quesadilla. ($14 for the meal plus $2 tip) it wasn't very filling at all and Chipotle would've saved me a little money and made me feel full (similar healthy/fresh food marketing). However, I think the smoothie was good and fairly priced, so odds are I'll just stick to those in the future!
