Their food is consistently, really good. They package it well and it's always still hot when we get it home. Reasonably priced as well!

In Cincinnati for 48 hours, had a hankering for Mediterranean food. The one closest to the hotel was closed but saw Andy's still open. Online looked great, ordered through DoorDash, I always give restaurants half a star more when ordering instead of sitting down. And this was well deserved, I ended up picking up my order because DoorDash couldn't locate a driver for 20 minutes, I ended up calling the restaurant. We got the hummus, stuffed grape leaves. Shish tawook or chicken shish kebab, and tabouli. Again mind you it had been sitting for about 45 minutes. I love the fluffy pita bread, always. The hummus was good, not great I would add a little salt. The stuffed grape leaves I believe came in a can. The tabouli was good, not great, sort of flavorless. What saved the day was the chicken, juicy and well marinated. The rice also was very flavorful. When I went to pick up the food staff was very kind and the decor looked great and authentic. I imagine sitting down would have yielded a better experience and I would go back there as a sit down patron in the future. read more

I have been meaning to come here for years after trying them several times at Taste of Cincinnati. I finally managed to make it in on Valentine's Day this year. It was a last minute plan with my husband so we didn't have reservations. I was so appreciative that they were able to get us in anyways, though with a reservation we would have had a better table. The atmosphere was very charming. I loved the music and was surprised to find they had a belly dancer as well, performing near tables for tips. It enhanced the experience for sure. As for the food, OMG it was good! My husband had the chicken shawarma, and I had the chicken tawook. They were both amazing! Even the rice was good. We ordered hummus, and it was superb. The bread that was served with it was unlike any bread I've ever tried. It tasted like a mixture of pita bread and a roll, which was a super interesting combo. It's pretty expensive, but so worth it. The only thing I don't like is the parking situation. There is no parking lot. We found plenty of parking on a side street just a short walk away so overall no big deal. Again, this place continues to be excellent and we love it! Our service was great and attentive and the food is always amazing. Lamb shanks, labneh, grape leaves. It was all so good! If you want a group table or 6 or more people, it's good to call ahead. Prices have really gone up. That's normal these days and I understand. But probably not good for everybody considering wages don't always go up with them. Hopefully Andy's can continue to do well in this environment of increased costs. We get it! Food is still just so wonderful and we continue to return but probably only a couple times a year. But we know when we come we're going to spend a lot of money. Staff here is always been very friendly and treated us like family. We've had a couple of birthdays here and we tell them ahead of time and they always make sure we have a good space. Solid Mediterranean restaurant. Had the chicken skewers with rice. Chicken was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Very filling portion. Hummus was delicious and the bread was fresh and warm. It was a disaster of a meal. They deep fried the spinach pies. The stuffed grape leaves lacked any real flavor. I asked for my lamb kebab to be medium and got a well done skewer that was very chewy and bland. No tzatziki for the lamb either. The highlight of my meal was my Coke Zero (no refills!) and the fries I took off my wife's lamb burger plate--also well done. This abysmal feast cost $98.00! There were no alcoholic drinks included. We came here with friends who dine regularly. It was an incredibly slow evening so we got a lovely quiet meal in the back room . Love the food & ambiance. Our dinner was great & I thoroughly enjoyed the Babaganoush with a phenomenal pitas! Everything from Tabouleh to grape leaves, Hummus and Falafel was beautifully prepared and so satisfying. five stars! While visiting Cincinnati this past weekend, a group of four of us were able to get a reservation at Andy's no problem. I did not see a lot designated for their restaurant, but there was ample street parking available. The staff seemed to be following all covid precautions, wearing face masks, and keeping patrons at 6 feet distance. I love Mediterranean cuisine for the many veggie options and Andy's was no exception! We started out sharing some falafel and pita which was delicious. I ordered 2 starters for a meal- the lentil soup and baba ghanoush, both servings were large and I was able to take home at least half and have for leftovers the next day! Everyone left full and satisfied. Our waitress was attentive and checked on us a few times to make sure everything was to our liking. 10/12/19 I came here late one evening due to finding great reviews and even better, a Groupon! I came in and was seated quickly. I ordered several dishes as my groupon was a large sum to spend, so I had lentil soup which was yummy! Greek salad with their homemade dressing. And an order of a combo of shish-kabobs on a bed of rice. Everything was so delicious and service was great. I ended up having leftovers for days. Ask for their in house garlic sauce, it's very tasty! I will most definitely return here next time I'm in the area! read more

What an amazing experience! I'm not sure why I never heard of this place before. I was looking for Mediterranean options and I ran into Andy's, so I looked at some of the reviews/pictures and decided to give it a try. We got there a bit early so it was not busy at all. We were greeted right away by who I think is one of the owners because he was also the waiter and everything else. He was very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the Mythos beer and my mum had the Lebanese coffee. I loved that in their beer menu they have Mediterranean options that are not so popular here. The beer was great and the coffee was extraordinary, strong but tasty. I read that entrees were quiet large so we ordered the Shish Tawook (which I never heard of before), a side of grape leafs and a side of fries. They also brought bread to the table. Everything was above average. The chicken and the rice were super tender and flavorful. As far as the grape leafs, they were the best I had in cincinnati. The place itself is very catchy and cozy. I come here when I'm having a fit to eat their shish tawook, which is freaking A M A Z I N G. I will keep coming back here with my husband and ordering that tawook, because it's really just THAT GOOD. I highly recommend this restaurant and their food. Another thing this restaurant has that is tasty is spanakopita! I recommend getting the spanakopita as an appetizer, along with the olives. Fair warning, though -- the olives still have the pits in them, but they're still tasty. read more

Needed a quick place to grab takeout before a concert. We ordered 6 entrees and food was done within 20 minutes! Really enjoyed the chicken shawarma most of all. Where can I begin with this place! I believe they gathered their esteem in Cincinnati when there were no other Mediterranean restaurants in the area, but since the opening of other offerings Andy's seems over-priced, lacking ambiance, and lower quality. To begin, when you walk in the door there is a mouse trap with a sign saying "complaint desk"(I wish I had gotten a picture of this); which could be cheeky humor but in hindsight seems more like a red flag. The decor is perfectly fine but dated with wood paneling, leading to old tiling, to painted murals. The pricing and food is my main complaint. I ordered the falafel platter, going in with some hefty expectations considering it was $24. I received many(under-seasoned) falafel croquettes, raw lettuce, raw tomatoes, and pickles. The value was absolutely non-existent and served as an uneven meal. A platter of just falafel doesn't really compose a meal. The presentation of this may make you think it is a shareable; however, they make it clear there is NO SHARING permitted or they up charge for an extra plate. Overall a very peculiar restaurant experience that left me unsatisfied. read more

Giving 2 stars because I love Mediterranean food and this place is close to my work. However, they have priced themselves out of our business. The veggie saute which is just veggies and rice is $32. The mushroom saute which is just mushrooms and rice is $29. That's more than most people make in an hour and it's just veggies and rice. Also they do not give you a glass of water. I've been a customer for years, never again! What a bunch of garbage!!! Knowing that they sent out all the old nasty food to delivery they had the phone off the hook!! I NEVER do this because it's just not who I am, but, I feel that in this instance it is warranted given their choice of words to me in a public forum. Below is my review on a restaurant. I reviewed it only because my American Express rewards card asked me to. Under my review is their response to me. I am kind of shocked at this point. WOW!! Believe me, I didn't tell half of what I really felt about this place including my disgust at them smashing a bug on the table and spraying Windex on it to clean it up without removing our drinks first and told us that we brought it in with us. Me: "Judging from their website we thought that it would be an upscale experience. When we got there the server was wearing workout pants and a camouflage shirt. Not at all what we thought. I am not familiar with that type of food but from my experience I didn't like it at all neither did my company. I definitely will not go back nor recommend this place." My boyfriend and I thought it would be a fun place to go to since we both enjoy Greek/Mediterranean food. We sat there for 25 minutes and all we got was a water before anyone actually came by to take our order. Now, this would be a lot different if it was crowded and busy, but we were the only people in the entire restaurant....one of the waiters was on his phone the entire time and paid no attention to us. We absolutely love Andy's Mediterranean Grill. It's such a fun atmosphere. Usually during the weekends you can catch a belly dancing performance by some very talented women. It's amazing some of the props they use...ie: swords! We've been numerous times, and we're never disappointed. I love sitting in the back section with the cushioned benches. It makes me feel like I've been transported to another country. This last visit my husband and I started off with the Mediterranean sampler. It comes with hummus, baba ghannouj, labneh, tabouli, a variety of olives, and warm pitas. The hummus was smooth with a hint of garlic. The baba ghannouj had a smoky flavor. It was my husband's favorite. The labneh was so creamy and very garlicy. I loved it because, I'm a garlic fanatic! The tabouli was super fresh tasting, and was a nice pallette cleanser after each bite. I'm not a big olive fan but, the variety they provided were actually really tasty. As my entree, I ordered the goat filet. It was simmered in a flavorful, yet light, wine sauce, with sauteed mushrooms and onions, and served with rice. The meat was so tender. Like with all goat dishes, there were smaller bones to pick out but, it was so worth it! My husband ordered the lamb shank. It was huge! It was marinated and then oven baked in Andy's special sauce. It was so moist and tender that the bone pulled right out. The sauce was rich and sweet but, had a really good heat. It was served with the lamb rice, which is a meal in and of itself. The lamb shank is definitely a shareable dish. For "dessert" I actually ordered the dolmas, which is an appetizer. They were big, plump rice stuffed grape leaves with just a hint of balsamic.
