This place is excellent. The portions are hearty and the quality of food is really good. It is a little pricey, but so is everywhere else these days. There are a few tables inside if you choose to dine in, but it seems like the bulk of their business is take out. Some of my favorites are the lemon potatoes and the chicken gyro sandwich. Soups are tasty as is the pork souvlaki. I highly suggest the spinach pie as well, it flaky and delicious. Whatever you order, you're going to have to wait a few minutes because it seems everything is freshly prepared. Workers are friendly and accommodating. You're going to have a satisfying meal here and probably have some leftovers for the next day. read more

Greg cove in Long Beach is by far the best Greek takeout you're going to find on Long Island. Ordering might be difficult calling in because they're so busy but the wait is worthwhile. You get what you want it's a sizable portion that most of the time you question why you ordered the platter instead of the sandwich because the amount of food they give is amazing. The quality is very good the pricing is very good and the owner knows everybody by name. That's the type of place I want to purchase from. The only ambiance you're getting in Greek cove is watching how hard the staff prepares each meal.
