Found this place on yelp and decided to try it out. It was my first time there and while the staff was attentive no one asked if I needed help or offered any suggestions.Food is prepared very similar to chipotle-so not fast food but not a 5 star restaurant either. I got a yeero and their fries. While a bit pricy at $12 the quality and taste were worth it-still dreaming about the fries (although next time I need to remember to get a side of tzatziki). I would give Greek Eats a 4 for taste and quality but at 2 for value and service. Don't get me wrong the food is always tasty and fresh but I often feel it is pricier than it needs to be. Understandable to have a place that is branded and marketed beautifully a profit must be made. I have been here five times on my lunch break and have had the same meal every time. The chicken plate which comes with rice, pita, beans and some veggie toppings with sauce. I can get a bit more food at chipotle for about 8.50 whereas here I'm spending about $11. A male, perhaps an owner is nice however I feel I am an inconvenience to be there as I always feel to rushed to make my order and have sometimes been cut off by him saying " you like vegetables? I'll put these on here" instead of taking my order. Don't advertise a customized experience if you are going to choose my food for me. read more

Like a Greek-style chipotle! I devoured my bowl before I could remember to snap a picture of it. You can choose between a wrap/gyro and a bowl, a variety of meats (and falafel!!), toppings, and different flavors of tatziki (the sriracha flavor was AMAZING!!!). On the positive side the sauces were flavorful, the pita bread was soft and fresh, and the order taker/cashier on duty was helpful and friendly. On the negative side the 2 "empanadas" we ordered were so awful we threw them out after one bite. The so-called Spanakopita Empanada was a measly size and filled with some bitter tasting spinach and not much else. It was also greasy and over-fried. The Chicken Empanada was similar and also had a measly bitter-tasting filling. It was my first time tasting halloumi cheese (on my Gyro) but it took some convincing the cook that I preferred to have it grilled instead of fried. I don't understand why that was a problem for him. I think that whether anyone has a good experience eating here absolutely depends on which items you order. At any rate we aren't planning on being repeat customers. read more

If you have Celiac Disease, do not eat here. Their gluten items are cross check contaminated with non gluten items. I asked for the meat and tzatziki to be packed separately because they were gluten free. And they still mixed the non safe rice (was cooked with pita bread) with the meat which was safe. Please do not advertise gluten free items if you cannot take proper precautions to avoid cross contamination!!! This may seem like a small thing to people without the disease, but this is a mistake that can make myself and others very sick! read more

While the quality of the food was quite good. I found it overpriced and the portion sizes were smaller that what I'd serve a child. Even the Greek guys I know who went there said the same. For about the same price, I get about three times the amount of meat in a pita in New York. It shouldn't be this way. Let's face it. The prices at this place are obscenely high. I ordered a side of "Greek Potato Salad" and it was almost $4.00. It consisted of a couple of tablespoons of average potato salad in a cup for God's sake. It wasn't that good. Thank goodness in America we have the free market and hopefully the management of this business will learn and improve their business or they will be driven out of the market. Got the salad bowl with the chicken souvlaki and sriracha tzatziki. I really wanted to double up on the meat and try the pork or bifteki, but not for over $3 extra. Normally you can get half and half, but not with the souvlaki since it's on a skewer. The food was really good and service was quick. As others mentioned, it's a chipotle-like ordering system. Choose your base, protein, sauce, and toppings. They've also got recommended "yeero" specials to choose from. Next time I'll see what the yeero is all about. read more

My husband and I waited patiently for this restaurant to open. The opening was delayed several times over the last few months. But today Greek Eats opened --- and I was totally disappointed. I ordered a salad with the traditional gyro beef and lamb, feta cheese, tomatoes, onions, a mild shiracho-tzizaki sauce and a small amount of "grain" salad (which was a nicely-seasoned cold rice and tomato side). This was served with a number of triangular pita slices. Unfortunately, the meat (though excellently seasoned) was so dry it reminded me of a jerky. In addition, it tasted like it was a week old (which is very strange for a place that opened this day!) and it was so tough and full of gristle that I spit a good amount out and left it on the plate. My husband, however, was satisfied with his gyro except for the fact that it did not satisfy his hunger. But he rectified that by ordering and eating a second one! I will say that the owners and the staff were friendly and helpful in assisting the customers with their food choices. They are nice people and I wish them success but I feel the quality of the meat needs to be improved for that to come about. I will be going back to try the other meats (beef, pork and chicken) and I hope my next review will be more complimentary. read more

After my recent experience I have to take away 1 star from my previous review. I decided to try something different and go with a salad as I was not in the mood for a heavy sandwich. Since the salads are the same price as a Gyro I expected it to be a decent size. When the order arrived I was surprised because most side salads are bigger! I've been to Greek Eats twice now and so far have tried their classic Gyro and their Spicy Feta Gyro. I've loved both. As others have noted, this place is set up Chipotle style where you get the be the boss as to what goes into your gyro. I love that feature as it makes every gyro unique. The meats are all traditional so you get yourself a true Greek Gyro experience. Also, I recommend giving the Village Fries a try as they are especially tasty! So I've been going to this restaurant for quite some time now, mostly to pick up food, but today will be my last time. The food is usually fresh, made right and friendly service. However, today surpasses all of the positive. I was coming home from running Christmas errands and decided to get salads to take home. I walked in and immediately said "Hello" to basically no one at the counter except the man carving the meat with his back to me. He probably didn't hear me so I walked a little closer to the counter and looked over to the kitchen, where a woman (who is always nice) glanced at me, but didn't acknowledge me or approach the counter. So I gave it another attempt. "Hi, Sir, how are you?" He slowly turned around and what was weird was he didn't say "Hi," or say "How can I help you?" like a normal restaurant would proceed. He approached the counter and said this: "Just for future reference, we are not open and do not accept customers until 11am because they have to count the register, but I guess today will be different." I was taken aback, feeling like I did something wrong. So I said, "Ok, well the door was open." He continued to say, "Just in future reference, the door may be open but we aren't open. But today it's fine." So again, I just said, "As a customer, if the door to a business is unlocked, it usually means you are open." He cut me off and said, "Alright, well what do you want?" The only pleasant part of that experience was the woman, who didn't count the drawer because I paid with a credit card, so there was no trouble on that end at all. In the end, the restaurant was prepped to serve me and I paid without any problems. As a business, if he didn't want me in, he could have said "Hi Sir, we are still in the opening phase of the restaurant at this time. Do you mind waiting a few minutes? I apologize for the inconvenience." Or something along the lines. And next time Sir, to communicate with customers, lock your door. I will not be going to this restaurant anymore because I don't want to feel like an idiot when I'm just doing what any customer would do. read more

Greek Eats is fairly new, right off of Newman Springs Road. They offer great meals, with fresh lamb, pork, chicken, and beef. The regular tzatziki is great on top of anything you choose. They also warm the pita bread which is nice. I would choose Greek Eats over Chipotle any day. read more

A great quick stop for lunch, with high quality food. If you are sick of eating pizza, subs and grilled chicken sandwiches for lunch, I would recommend Greek Eats. I tried the Ataviros Sanmuch,which I loved, the pita was toasted just perfect and the combination of the Greek chimichurri and spiced feta really woke up my taste buds. And on the side I enjoyed the super healthy and fresh Ancient Grain Salad. Greek Eats also has Greek Soda, which was very refreshing, but not super sweet like a normal American over sugared, sweetened sodas. Out the door for about $10, which is a not to far off from a 2 slices of pizza and soda or a sandwich and soda in this area. Very fresh ingredients. I was slightly confused by the Greeks description. Which includes fries. But fries are a handful I'm the pita , not on the side. Oh well. I probably shouldn't have an order of fries plus the yeero. However I am done and still a little hungry. The place is clean and fast. Location is decent as I am in the area often I probably will return. Worth checking out at least once. Next time I will go custom made the spicy feta has me intrigued. read more

All the ingredients tasted really fresh and you can see the meat In the background being roasted, so you know that it's nice and fresh. Just be prepared with napkins. Maybe it's me, but I can never eat a gyro gracefully with all that sauce and toppings. Very cute new place with Greek food. We had the plate with chicken and rice. The chicken was great, the pita was awesome, and the Greek salad was amazing. The hummus and tzatiki sauce were ok- a little bland to be honest, and the "saffron rice" was not very good. The babaganoush was watery and awful.
