I came here with a friend and we got a POUND of fresh ravioli, marinated in seasonings and oil with all kinds of grilled peppers and sun-dried tomatoes.

After seeing this place on social media, we've been wanting to come here for dinner…read more The place is split into two rooms, with the front room having the ordering counter and the second room being the dining room. The dining room is small but comfortable, with the back wall being brick and the entrance to the kitchen being on the side. The leftmost wall is white with horizontal wood panels making up the bottom half. Framed pictures of pizza adorn the kitchen entrance's wall and a mock window display holding large cans of tomato sauce can be seen in the back. The room is also illuminated by string lights and a chandelier as well. Finally, a window at the front of the room has a stained glass art of the Luigi's logo. Not sure if there was a miscommunication , but our server thought we ordered the XL Whole Special pizza, which has sausage, peppers, onion, pepperoni, meatballs and mushrooms. We had actually ordered the XL Whole Veggie pizza, which has spinach, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, and eggplant. She was really apologetic and had a small Veggie pizza made for us on the house. Hubs was worried that it was going to come out of her pocket, so he left her enough to pay for the small veggie pizza. I'm glad we accidentally got the Special because it was delicious and my favorite of the two. Daughter and hubs liked the veggie pizza better, though. We were happy that we had both pies for leftovers. Daughter ordered the Italian Hot Dog and she liked it but wished that there were more hot dogs. Other places served more than 1, so she was hoping for more. LOL. I also got the White Clam Sauce Over Linguini and loved this a lot as well. They were generous with the fresh clams and clam meat. It came with a side of Italian bread. Service was very friendly and quick. If the meals took a little longer, our server would come out to update us. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu!

The mozzarella sticks were good they just taste like the average sticks you usually get everywhere. And with the buffalo chicken wings were average you can't really mess them up honestly they had a kick to it. Now for the famous pizza that got a 8.1 by Dave Portnoy, the first time I got it the pizza was burnt on the bottom, and the cheese was coming off too easily so it was hard to eat and it was very oily. Now for the second time we got an extra large pizza which was a square pizza and this time it was cooked good but still too cheesy with it coming off and it was still oily , it wasn't crunchy nor it was crispy. The pizza did take almost 40 minutes to come out but it was understandable since it was an extra large but it did take a lengthy time to come out the first time too.

Seamless, attentive, patient, and someone with true hospitality in her bones. Every detail was thoughtful, from the gorgeous floral centerpieces (still looking beautiful in my kitchen) to the signage, the name tags and napkins finished with a sprig of rosemary, and the perfect pink ribbon. Rachel and the waitstaff matched her standard. Warm, kind, and always one step ahead of what guests needed. The food brought a wave of nostalgia for our family and absolutely lived up to every memory. Every course was raved about-the lamb chops were perfect-and the kitchen handled a range of dietary needs without missing a beat. The cocktails were mixed to perfection and our guests including the children had the most lovely day! Lots of love and laughter. Thank you Gargiulos for helping make a beautiful memory.

And it was our first time here so I can't talk about the regular menu but I can talk about the chef. The dinner we had was spectacular. It was authentic northwestern Italian cuisine specifically from the Alto adish region. There was a delicious trout and Speck appetizer. They were duck dumplings. And the most delicious goulash with a spectacular polenta. And the apple strudel for dessert was how it finished. Everything was spectacularly delicious. Rachel our server was helpful and friendly. And Teresa, one of the owners was so welcoming and so kind to us as well. We loved everything about this place and most definitely will be back

First of all, there was a little kids birthday party here and it was LOUD. This is clearly not the restaurant's fault but wow was it loud. I wish we could have sat outside but it was a bit chilly. We started with a 'Watermelon Mint Cooler' and 'Frozen Strawberry Margarita' - both were mocktails. They were both delicious and refreshing. My husband got the meatballs for his appetizer and I got the Caprese salad. He loved the appetizer and I loved mine. You cannot go wrong with Caprese salad in my opinion. For our entrees, he got the 'Bistecca alla Pizzaiola" which was a steak with tomato, garlic and red wine with potatoes. It was really good. The steak was very tender. I got the 'Ravioli Limoncello' which was Ravioli in a Lemon cream sauce. I am not a huge lemon fan but this was great. We ended with the 'Carrot Cake' and the 'Toasted Almond' cake - both were delicious as well. Everything was great. The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. I would definitely come back and would recommend. Next time though, I'm sitting outside if I see a big party though!

The cake was light and paired well with the tartufo. We all enjoyed the experience at Patrizias.

Wrong appetizer delivered, setting back the dining experience 15 minutes. When the sausage and beans finally did arrived, we wished we had opted for the incorrect alternative initially delivered. Beans and sauce were very good, but the sweet sausage was dry, as if it spent the afternoon sunning under a heat lamp. Special tagliatelle was overcooked and the guanciale was crisped to the point of uncomfortable crunch. Risotto was the highlight, tasty and well prepared. Patio seating is very uncomfortable and reminiscent of the scene in Animal House where the Delta bros, in this case hostess, did a weed out on sight, separating those they connect with and sending the rest to the patio hinterland. Policy states inside seating is first come, first accommodated, but parties were clearly being seated in the patio despite suitable tables for the party size being available in the main dining room. Mediocre food led us to the decision to pass on desert. If your looking for elevated Italian, Anjelicas or Tramas are far superior choices. Dusals in Freehold is a better alternative for pasta and red sauce standards. Food level does not support the attitude of this establishment.
