    Grilled Chicken Platter

The food here is really REALLY good. The meat taste so fresh and flavorful. The quantities are great. You can choose between rice and fries with the meat, salad and pita. The staff is well spoken and patient. It's located in a very cool plaza, right off route 33.

    Nice personal touch!

Very fresh and very tasty. Also great and friendly service. We Had build your own beef and lamb gyros, hummus, grape leaves, and a Greek salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. We told them it was our first time ordering from them and they wrote a nice note on their menu and threw in some extra sauce. A very nice unexpected personal touch. We will be back!

When I say this is a hidden gem--- I mean- THIS is a hidden gem! Hubby and I had been running all over town doing errands and we were famished- but we didn't want burgers, tacos or pizza. Greek sounded so good, refreshing, tasty and exactly what we craved. I Yelped and GYRO popped in my feed! we were literally, in the same plaza LOL. It's a family run business, which in my foodie history is always the best, because they put heart and soul into their food and business. Hubby and I walked in and ordered two of the Gyro platters with Tzatziki fries on the side. Let me tell you, the meat was absolutely seasoned to perfection the rice was fluffy and tasty the tzatziki wasn't heavy and I frankly couldn't get enough of it and who doesn't like french fries that are crispy on the outside fluffy on on the inside?! We sat outside in the small patio area with the sun shining and enjoyed the bestest lunch! and we even got to meet the owners, we had no idea.. lol, we got to talking about the food and how long they have been in business, it was a wonderful day. GYRO has great service and they have a happy and super friendly staff, the portions of food, left enough for me to have for lunch the next day!! I can't wait to go back and try the salads and other items on the menu. This is definitely our new favorite spot for Greek food!! if you are in the area and want delicious Greek for lunch or pick up for diner- do yourself a favor and stop in here!

I was craving a gyro and wanted to go somewhere that was local to me. I can't believe after driving in and around this area my whole life that I just discovered this place! I placed my order through the DoorDash app for pickup. My order was ready to be picked up in a jiffy and everything was warm and fresh. I ordered the Zeus sandwich which can be a gyro served in a pita or in a wrap. I got the chicken gyro with pita and it was stuffed with meat, fresh veggies, spicy feta, and tzatziki. Extremely flavorful! I also got a side of the Greek fries which was coated with feta. The fries were nice and crispy. I was so full after! A little bit on the pricier side but I am so glad to now know of a Greek spot in the area. I will definitely be back!

I stumbled upon this place when I was working in the area. I am staying at the radisson down the road and its not too far away at all. This place is located in a shopping center around a couple of different eateries, but I simply love this concept. The guys in here are always super nice and the food is great. It reminds you of a greek chipotle. You build a bowl or a wrap. I always get a bowl with brown rice and extra meat. The gyro as well as the chicken are both very good. The ingredients are always fresh and the sauces and spreads are housemade. If you are looking for a great place to get some healthy greek, customized fare then this is your spot. I will definitely be back before I head home. I am looking forward to trying the greek salad as well as the falafel.

Absolutely the best gyro spot in central Jersey no debate. I love a good gyro & have had most notable places in the area, & this place destroys the competition. They give very generous size portions & are fairly priced. A gyro with fries combo is about $12 which is a great value compared to competitors that charge way more for less. If you're in the area you gotta go here, I know I will when I am next

really large portions! I already ate some of it before taking the photo because I was so hungry, but the food was really great and good quality! Will definitely go here again. I cannot speak for the service since I order on DoorDash, but overall really great, and we definitely order again great value for its price.

Found this spot when in Freehold and wanted a quick bite. I ate an salad and it was good, large in size was only able to eat half of it. My kids had the gyros and they really enjoyed them.

Wow a nice find for a late afternoon lunch. Fresh food made from scratch with great sides and sauces. Not a fancy place, more of a fast food feel but nice people and the portions are huge. The sauces are amazing. Think of the Chipotle process with Greek food and you get the idea. Will definitely return.

GYRO is a local Greek eatery that makes an incredibly good gyro. What to expect: Upon entering the eatery, we were greeted by the owner and his wife. Both were busy fulfilling orders and a cook was busy fulfilling take-out orders. There was a bit of a wait before we could get our order in but it is understandable. We ordered the beef/lamb gyro platter and we watched as it was made, while we waited. After receiving our order, you pay and self-serve your own beverage. The eating area is clean and minimalistly decorated with pictures of Greece while Greek music softly plays in the background. Food : 4 out of 5 The beef/lamb gyro platter comes with - beef/lamb - a choice of fries, white rice or brown rice - salad - pita The beef/lamb was nicely spiced. The brown rice was nicely seasoned and the salad was crisp and fresh. The portions are generous. The gyro was done right with quality and fresh ingredients. I will be back to try the other items on their menu.

Is the food here fresh or frozen?

I'm really not sure if its frozen then thawed to cook, There is only one guy that cooks and he pulls the protein from a draw or its carved of the spinning grill. I have never had a bad meal there, and I will say the tzatziki sauce is amazing.

It takes about 30 minutes to get your food and even longer to get a check after the fact. Which is crazy because my table was only one out of 3 other tables in the restaurant. A 20% tip is automatically applied to your bill, and then still asked if you want to tip ON TOP OF THE FACT so pay attention to your bill! Part of me thinks the reason the service isn't as good is because they know they're automatically getting that tip, but another part of me hopes that isn't the case. Ambiance is nice, very beautiful and great place for pictures.

The place is pretty big, with white walls, a super high ceiling, fake grass plastered to the top of one of the walls, and mounted TVs showing menu items and regular TV. Black tables and chairs make up the front of the restaurant while booth seats make up the back area. It is fast casual where you place your order with the cashier and find a table. They'll bring the food to you when it's ready. We ordered the following: Sabich- Hubs and I liked this a lot. It's been a while since we had this and the moment I saw it on the menu, I knew I had to have it. Hubs loved the Israeli salad on the inside. Sabich reminds me of Miznon, which is great. I loved this and would order it again. Beef kufta skewer with rice and beans; fried zucchini sticks- It's beef kuftas on 2 skewers. Daughter liked this and thought it was soft and good. I loved the fact that the beef kufta was served in a skewer. I had it like this one other time in Canada and this brought me back to that time. Hubs wished it was lamb. LOL.The zucchini sticks were nicely fried. Be warned that there is an 8% service charge here. We didn't get the receipt but I saw it on the cash register screen. The entrance is a little tricky to get in. You can only get in as if you're going into BJ's/Starbucks. I didn't realize that until I passed the entrance and had to make a U-turn. Once you pass that entrance on Route 9, that's it. The strip mall only has an exit onto Route 9. Overall, service was friendly and quick. Will return when in the area to try other items on the menu.

Title: Incredible Catering Experience - The Hit of the Party!…read more I ordered catering from Rings Mediterranean Cuisine in Manalapan for an event this past Saturday (Jan 3rd), and I cannot say enough good things. If you are looking to impress your guests, this is the place to go. Everything arrived fresh and beautifully packaged, but the flavors were the real highlight. We ordered a large spread, and every single item was a hit: The Meats: The Chicken Doner and Chicken Shish were incredibly tender, but the Beef Qebapa was the absolute star--perfectly seasoned and cooked. The Starters: The Shepherd's Salad with feta was crisp and fresh, perfectly balancing the savory meats. The Falafel and Stuffed Grape Leaves disappeared almost instantly. Dessert: You have to get the Baklava. It was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The portions were generous (plenty of rice and meat and everyone got leftovers to take home!), and the service was professional by Durim. Rings made hosting so much easier. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

After promptly returning home I had to use the restroom 4 times within the hour. No one else in my party suffered like I did, so it must of been my entree since we all shared appetizers. With that being said we loved the open kitchen floor plan and being able to watch all the dishes being made. "The Cloud" for the hummus was quite the show. I had the shish kebab combo with pita bread. They really stuff this to the max and it is a messy sandwich. Each time you take a bite plan for veggies and meet to be falling on the plate. However, it was a good meat to veggie ratio. Unfortunately, a few of my lamb pieces had tendon in them which made them very chewy. Otherwise, everything was on point flavor wise. My only complaint is that we had to ask for the bill twice and it took them about 15 minutes to take our credit card for payment. But I do understand this was around 7:00 PM at peak dinner hours. Once I conquer my fear of the bathroom we may return.
