I decided to try this place out as I was in the area and it was pretty good. Reasonable priced and great portions, definitely able to eat at least twice from the platter (in my case). The environment is a little bit dated but they had a nice outdoor seating area. Service was quick which is always nice! Definitely would check it out again when around. read more

Loved our lunch stop here earlier today. Cute casual diner - cafeteria style seating. Perfect place for a delicious lunch. We had build your own gyro sandwich with lettuce tomato red onion and tzatziki. I added olives on mine. Perfect lunch and perfect price too. When I say this is a hidden gem--- I mean- THIS is a hidden gem! Hubby and I had been running all over town doing errands and we were famished- but we didn't want burgers, tacos or pizza. Greek sounded so good, refreshing, tasty and exactly what we craved. I Yelped and GYRO popped in my feed! we were literally, in the same plaza LOL. It's a family run business, which in my foodie history is always the best, because they put heart and soul into their food and business. Hubby and I walked in and ordered two of the Gyro platters with Tzatziki fries on the side. Let me tell you, the meat was absolutely seasoned to perfection the rice was fluffy and tasty the tzatziki wasn't heavy and I frankly couldn't get enough of it and who doesn't like french fries that are crispy on the outside fluffy on on the inside?! We sat outside in the small patio area with the sun shining and enjoyed the bestest lunch! and we even got to meet the owners, we had no idea.. lol, we got to talking about the food and how long they have been in business, it was a wonderful day. GYRO has great service and they have a happy and super friendly staff, the portions of food, left enough for me to have for lunch the next day!! I can't wait to go back and try the salads and other items on the menu. I placed my order through the DoorDash app for pickup. My order was ready to be picked up in a jiffy and everything was warm and fresh. I ordered the Zeus sandwich which can be a gyro served in a pita or in a wrap. I got the chicken gyro with pita and it was stuffed with meat, fresh veggies, spicy feta, and tzatziki. Extremely flavorful! I also got a side of the Greek fries which was coated with feta. The fries were nice and crispy. I was so full after! I stumbled upon this place when I was working in the area. I am staying at the radisson down the road and its not too far away at all. This place is located in a shopping center around a couple of different eateries, but I simply love this concept. The guys in here are always super nice and the food is great. It reminds you of a greek chipotle. You build a bowl or a wrap. I always get a bowl with brown rice and extra meat. The gyro as well as the chicken are both very good. The ingredients are always fresh and the sauces and spreads are housemade. If you are looking for a great place to get some healthy greek, customized fare then this is your spot. This place is like a chipotle for Greek food. You can either choose to make your own bowl or sandwich or pick one of the preset combinations. My friend chose to a bowl with a combo of all the meats while I chose a pita sandwich with both lamb and beef. You then get to choose if you want lettuce, tomato and onions and what sauce. The bowl came with a side of pita. All of this along with a drink totaled to twenty dollars. It's a lot of meat for the price, i would've actually liked more veggies but my pita couldn't hold it all with all that meat. The taste was okay, nothing special, the meat was super salty though. Service was super friendly but I don't think they really turn on the ac. I'm usually cold all the time but I felt super hot the entire time. I went here twice really hoping to find a good new Gyro place as I love them so much and this place is close to home. It's set up like a chipotle where you could add what you want but Gyro format instead of Burrito. What surprises me is how small these gyros are especially with other Greek and Mexican restaurants of similar format opening up in the area. I must get at least twice the food on a Chipotle burrito then one of these gyros. It's surprising how little meat they put on their gyros even though it is tasty. I guess if you're on a diet you could go here but for normal people there just isn't enough food for you.
