This is a great little family owned, authentic Greek restaurant with delicious food and personalized, gracious service. Immaculate, bright and nicely appointed decor. Our server was very attentive and kind and she brought us some tzatziki and bread as they got our order going. Portions are very generous and food is really superb. We enjoyed the Pikilia platter with dips and spreads accompanied by fresh warm pita. The gyro platter was huge and the meat tender, perfectly seasoned and sliced thin and crisp, just the way we like it. Even the fries were outstanding. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming with family all pitching in and a warmth and unique quality you just don't see much these days. We look forward to returning and trying more menu items!

I had the Mykonos Margarita with passionfruit, fresh lemonade, Greek honey, jalapeño and a Tajín rim, and also tried the Greek Moonshine with cinnamon, chamomile and Greek honey. Both were so refreshing and really well balanced. For appetizers, we had the grilled octopus with chimichurri and lemon potatoes, zucchini fritters, and the grilled lamb kefte patty. Everything was delicious! For dinner, I had the seafood paella with Greek pasta, shrimp, calamari, mussels and branzino, and my husband had the lamb brisket. Both were SO good. You can really taste all the Greek herbs and flavors in the food, and we found out they actually import a lot of their ingredients from Greece, which I thought was really cool. The best surprise was the belly dancer and fire performance! We weren't expecting it at all and it made our Saturday night so much fun. Great food, great drinks, amazing atmosphere and such a fun date night. 10/10 -- we'll definitely be back

I enjoyed everything I order and we had enough to take home. I love Greek food and based on the menu id classify it as an American/ Greek food restaurant because you can get ribs and chicken wings if you want as well. The portions of the main dishes are enough to split between two and for one large salad and one roasted chicken we spent $60 (including tip). The roasted chicken was really good the chicken came off the bone and the potatoes and beans were good! The salad was really good loved and I loved the hummus! The first serving of bread and hummus is on them then after that you are charged $3. They have indoor and covered out door seating and you can expect beautiful pictures of Greece around the walls. The service was ok , we came here for my wife birthday to celebrate the two of us but I don't think they do anything for birthdays.

I was visiting friends, and since her family is pretty big, this has become their go-to restaurant. She mentioned that the staff never hesitates when a large party walks in and always accommodates everyone without making it feel like an inconvenience. The dining room is one large, open space with tables throughout, creating a lively atmosphere. I absolutely loved it. It was filled with people enjoying incredible food, and you could tell this place was a local favorite. Of course, I had to start with one of their Greek beers, served in a traditional beer mug, which was the perfect way to kick off the meal. We also ordered the tzatziki and hummus sampler, and I'm so glad we did. The flavors were unbelievable, and they were incredibly generous with the warm pita bread. Honestly, I ate so much of the sampler that by the time it came to order my entrée, all I could manage was a piece of grilled chicken. Even then, I found myself dipping the chicken into the hummus and tzatziki because they were just that good. I left completely full, happy, and even had leftovers to take home. The staff was fantastic--everyone worked together seamlessly, helping one another and making sure every table was taken care of. It created such a welcoming atmosphere. After eating here, it's easy to understand why this restaurant has so many outstanding reviews. The food, service, and overall experience absolutely live up to the hype.

We had the warm pita bread with the taziki, the best part of the meal, this is freshly made and trust me, you taste the garlic in every bite. It's so fresh and homemade. The spanakopita is ok, I get it every once in a while but it's not my favorite. They make a lot of good dishes. I highly recommend this place.

The vinaigrette for the Greek salad is amazing and they grace the top of the side salad with the perfect amount of feta. Granted, I wasn't starving. My brother ordered the chicken gyro with spicy feta and a side Greek salad. His gyro was overflowing and it looked delicious. He said it was fantastic and left no morsel of food behind. The self serve beverage stations weren't in working order so we grabbed drinks from the cooler at the direction of the cashier. Being I'm not a fan of soda, this was advantageous because I was able to enjoy Perrier. In summary, we had a fantastic lunch at Mr. Gyro's and I'll definitely visit again. They have some small two top tables inside and a couple high tops outside. They had a board with lunch specials on it. But we wound up ordering from their regular menu. I got the moussaka and he got pasticchio. Both dishes came with a very generously sized Greek salad and warm pita wedges to start. The salads had tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, onions, pepperoncinis, and romaine lettuce topped with feta cheese and dressing. There was also a small rice stuffed grape leaf -- cut in half. The salad could have been a meal in itself. The moussaka was layered egg plant and potatoes with a ground beef filling topped with cinnamon béchamel sauce. The pasticchio is the Greek version of lasagna but with elbow macaroni. Both portions were quite filling. I ate my dish and he brought half of his home. He was saving room for dessert. For dessert, he had galaktoboureko which is a custard filled pastry topped with simple syrup. He said it was good, but it would have been better if warmed. Or at least if the syrup was warm. Now, I must admit that I have ridden past this restaurant many times on my e-bike rides but never thought about trying a Greek restaurant for breakfast. So, this week, I finally gave in and trudged off to give the place a try. The Ambiance: Cute European style restaurant that has a cozy yet chic setting. Bar seating, inside table seating and outside patio seating are all offered. I might mention that my outside table felt sticky. Not sure if this is the type of table or a table that needed to be cleaned. Either way it was an uncomfortable experience. Couldn't slide my dishes and my arm sleeve felt like it was sticking to the table. The Service: Although my server forgot the honey I requested for my tea and instead of inputting the WiFi password in my iPad, as requested, briskly told me the WiFi password (she thought), which it wasn't, the service, other than that, was efficient and provided with a smile. (NOTE: Another server was more than happy to input the password for me without a hesitation). I might also mention that my server served my unusual tea request (which so many servers get wrong) absolutely on the money without hesitation. This may not sound like a big deal but, for me, it most assuredly is. The Food: I ordered the Big Breakfast which consisted of two eggs (I chose over easy), two sausage links, two strips of bacon, I chose a biscuit as my bread offering and those "must have grits. Along with this dish I of course ordered my, always a challenge to get, English Breakfast tea with honey and "steamed" milk. Although as mentioned above, other than the honey, my server did bring my tea WITH steamed milk! Good start! Within a few minutes, my dish arrived. Everything was just as ordered. The over easy eggs were cooked exactly as ordered and the biscuits came WITH extra butter. Unfortunately, the sausage was your little "standard" link sausage, the bacon was on the crisp side and the biscuit was good but a bit gummy. Now on to the big question,, how was those grits. I have to say, all my friends were right. Those grits were by far, the best grits I've ever had. Creamy, but not runny, needing only a dash of salt, they were so good, I took two orders of grits to go. The Bottom Line: My "Customer so what" would I come back? Although the rest of the meal was simply OK, for the grits alone, you bet I'd return.
