Came here for lunch on Friday for the first time. The restaurant is surprisingly very cute inside! You would not guess that from the outside with it being in a plaza, but the interior is bright and airy with the traditional blue/white Santorini vibe. Our food was delicious. I recommend the dip platter appetizer so you can try all the spreads. Everything was fresh and came out in a timely manner. read more

Stopped in while on a longer distance drive. Not familiar with the area, but was pleased with our choice. Prices were a bit steep, but again could've been the norm for the area. The octopus app was delicious with an interesting balsamic, oil and something sauce that was delightful and bright. The gyro platter was a great portion size and their pita bread was unique as it was grilled before slicing and almost seemed air fried. Really enjoyed that. We went at an off time so service was attentive as we were the only table. Ambiance was nice, felt very mediterranean with bright whites and blues. read more

This is a great little family owned, authentic Greek restaurant with delicious food and personalized, gracious service. Immaculate, bright and nicely appointed decor. Our server was very attentive and kind and she brought us some tzatziki and bread as they got our order going. Portions are very generous and food is really superb. We enjoyed the Pikilia platter with dips and spreads accompanied by fresh warm pita. The gyro platter was huge and the meat tender, perfectly seasoned and sliced thin and crisp, just the way we like it. Even the fries were outstanding. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming with family all pitching in and a warmth and unique quality you just don't see much these days. Fresh, delicious Greek food. Nice atmosphere and staff. The gyro had great flavor and the Taziki was excellent, fresh and tasty! We didn't know that the gyro platter came with a regular chopped salad. It would have been better served with a small Greek salad on the platter. We opted for dessert, and chose the baklava and the rice pudding. The baklava was fresh, flaky and delicious. We will definitely be back, this is our new favorite Greek restaurant. To start off this was a take out order. But I will say that the interior of the restaurant looks very clean and bright. I have tried to go before but they are always busy so thats a good sign. We ordered a large greek salad with grilled chicken and tziki/peta. The tziki was good. I would've liked to have seen some more pita bread. The salad.....I'm just not sure. It was a large container of grilled chicken, chopped tomatoes, logs of feta cheese, chopped onions and green peppers. No lettuce whatsoever. Not my definition of a greek salad by any stretch. Ordered take out from here a week ago. The food is decent enough but the take out experience was awful. After picking up our order and getting home, I noticed we were missing our order of grape leaves. I called the restaurant to let them know of the mistake. The host insisted she called multiple times after I left to inform me that I was missing the grape leaves. I didn't have any missed calls. She made a point to tell me she noticed as soon as I had walked out the door as if that made any difference. I let the host know that I wasn't going to drive back over to pick it up and asked to have the amount refunded to our card. To date we have not received a refund. The food quality is absolutely not worth paying for others mistakes. read more

I just went to Greek Taverna in Tequesta. I am a good cook and when I go out I am very demanding about the quality of food. The moussaka was Excellent! The food I ordered was all delicious. Gyro platter over priced. Meat was dry. No feta cheese. A Gyro platter often includes feta cheese, as it's a common ingredient in both the platter's salad and sometimes even mixed into the gyro meat itself but not at Greek Taverna. The tzatziki sauce was in a tiny container that wasn't enough for the platter. read more

Tried out the Greek Taverna in Tequesta on US1 next to Tequesta Brewery. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Our server, Bella, was so attentive. Even recommended things to try next visit. Highly recommend. Definitely going back. I love the option to sit outside as well. read more
