Stopped in here for lunch with an old friend my first time in this I guess you called it a diner I asked for my staple food for diner fair a Reuben sandwich besides the lack of a pure dill pickle I accepted their slices. Seating is cozy, wait staff is friendly, lunch prices are around fifteen bucks. This was my first time at Hobos. I went with a group of 8 at around 10:30am. Some people ordered lunch and others breakfast. There were very few people in the restaurant but it took a long time for the food to arrive. Even the regulars were surprised at the wait. At the recommendation of our server, who said their special seafood chowder was full of seafood, two of us ordered the dish. The chowder had VERY little seafood and was mostly potatoes and carrots. The broth was tasty but the seafood was pretty scarce. My serving had one minuscule shrimp the size of my thumb nail and a few tiny pieces of calamari. Very disappointing. I understand they have a pretty extensive salad bar for lunch if you like that sort of thing. The salad bar is located by the giant Gator hide on the wall!!!! read more

Had a great time for the first time here with an old friend who became a business networking friend. It was both of our first times here it's a hole in the wall but my bacon cheese burger was great! They gave me a great amount of freshly perfectly cooked bacon on it. I loved that! The food was out super quick as well. My French toast was very good, and the accompanying bacon was outstanding as well. My wife's omelette was a little tough and overcooked, which often is the case with quickly made omelettes, but nothing a little hot sauce couldn't fix :) Our daughter loves the burrito, even more so after I picked out the jalapeños....she is 2. The salads are very fresh with tons of toppings and three different cold cuts. In addition, you have to try your salad creation with the wasabi vinaigrette dressing. It's so good. I wish they would bottle this dressing and sell it. I think for a dollar and some change more, you can get a bowl of their soup of the day and I haven't had a soup that I didn't like. Well, this was a nice find near Palm Beach,Florida. Not too far of a drive to get a very tasty meal and avoid the overpriced, underserved typical resort food establishments near the beach. I'm really torn between giving my honest review or giving really falsely bad review so nobody knows about my new favorite place and it can be my little well kept secret. It's insane that I had zero wait at 11am on a Sunday, because I just [over]ate the best breakfast I've had in a while. My first impression was already great because I walked in to fun decor and signs on the wall that support military and law enforcement. They already had my appreciation at that point since we are a law enforcement family and we love when establishments "Back the Blue". I couldn't choose, but I brought my A-game appetite anyway, so I ordered eggs, bacon, hash browns, and some buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy, and when I say fluffy, I mean that thing was at least an inch thick with that perfect crunch around the corners. The hash browns and the home fries that my boyfriend ordered were seasoned delicious and prepared perfect, exactly how anybody who appreciates good breakfast would want them. The western omelet filled my guy's belly and he is a picky eater when we get breakfast. The coffee was fresh and strong and the waitress, who was awesome as well, kept it topped off the entire time. I liked everything about it but I was not too particular about the sauerkraut. It had a very strong taste. Sauerkraut usually has that kinda taste if its jarred. I didnt hate it but didnt care for it. I also got a salad over at their salad bar. Everything there was so fresh! They had everything from romain, iceberg, and spring-mix lettuce. They also had raw spinach. For toppings they had so much stuff including macoroni, potato, egg, and pasta salad. Their salad bar is huge with so much to choose from. I was overhearing from some of the guests that their breakfast is really good. Im going to have to try it out. I was debating between a 4 or a 5-star review.
