I'm a huge fan of Mr. Gyro's and prefer this location to neighboring location(s). I love the fact they make everything fresh to order. The vinaigrette for the Greek salad is amazing and they grace the top of the side salad with the perfect amount of feta. I ordered the kids meal which included 1 grilled chicken skewer and one side with some warm pita and a beverage. I opted for rice pilaf. This was a lot of food and I even had some leftovers. Granted, I wasn't starving. My brother ordered the chicken gyro with spicy feta and a side Greek salad. His gyro was overflowing and it looked delicious. He said it was fantastic and left no morsel of food behind. The self serve beverage stations weren't in working order so we grabbed drinks from the cooler at the direction of the cashier. Being I'm not a fan of soda, this was advantageous because I was able to enjoy Perrier. In summary, we had a fantastic lunch at Mr. Gyro's and I'll definitely visit again. I've given this place chance after chance, and they somehow mess up my order every single time. I even repeat my order and double- and triple-check it because it's happened so often, and it still comes out wrong. Instead, I'm always left waiting far longer than I should for a simple order. Place used to be good. Getting run down. Fountain drinks did not work but they had warm cans of soda, no ice. Ordered appetizer and 2 meals. They forgot to ring in my app so we didn't get it. This place gets 5 stars in flavor alone! Super authentic flavors that I haven't had since I was in Greece. They don't shy away from spices! My Greek salad had the best Greek vinaigrette and lots of their spices. I added chicken and again, flavor upon flavor. I actually complimented the guys cooking because it had to be said. The ambiance leaves a little to be desired, because you can see wear and tear, like broken granite table tops; paint needing to be touched up and just a good old cleaning. The girl at the register was there just counting the minutes until she goes home. Not unpleasant, but just not interested in being there whatsoever. She was on her phone when we got there and went right back into it once I paid. Meanwhile there's chairs strewn About, tables dirty little magazines that people leave to advertise thrown about. Again, just there to do the bare minimum. This was not a deterrent in term of us ever going back. I do not find this establishment very clean which makes me question the hygiene of the employees and the quality of food being served. I have been coming here for many years, however, I have watched the detoriation of the interior of the restaurant. Especially the floors, which you could ice skate on. This Greek restaurant is in the shopping plaza on the northwest corner of Indiantown Road and Central Boulevard. It is basically the first shopping plaza east of I-95 and anchored by Aldi's. It sits in a row with a pizza place, 2 smoothie places, and a Panera! Ordering over the phone was simple. The end price seemed pretty generous for what I ordered. My order was ready to go when I walked in. The inside was empty of customers, but seemed clean and open, definitely someplace I could see dining in. The person behind the counter stopped what she was prepping when I walked in and got me checked out right away; thank you! I had a Greek salad, which had a generous amount of feta cheese in it. My tomatoes were in too large of chunks to be eaten with the salad, but that was ok. I ate the whole thing anyways! My kids shared the olives and even ate the stuffed grape leaves it came with (incredibly enough!) The homemade hummus was a substantial portion with beautiful pita bread that came with it in tin foil. My children also ate this, which was a huge win, and even tried the cucumber chunks on the side of it. My mom had a beef and lamb melted gyro. It looked beautiful, but she found it a bit spicy for her taste. I took a menu home with me, so that I can order from here again. read more

Excellent food, it's not 5 star, but it's pretty good! Had the Mousaka and I have to say, it was pretty good! Also had the stuffed grape leaves and they were excellent. Best Falafel Gyro ever! It took me few minutes to make a decision. Everything looked so good, that I change my mind a couple of times and at the end I was so happy with my Falafel Gyro that includes humus, and few more things. There you can find all the typical Greek Platters and Mezzes, and if you are thirsty they do have regular drinks and Mathis for the beer lovers.
