I love an authentic "dive" like Souvlaki Grill II in West Palm Beach, about a mile east of Palm Beach International Airport. This little hole-in-the-wall serves a great, juicy, well-marinated pork souvlaki complete with tangy, garlicky tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, and feta. The pita could be a little thinner to my liking, but it was fresh. The wrap from the servers could be tighter so that the sandwich doesn't fall apart, so diners beware that once you take a delicious bite, you will not be able to put your sandwich down. Souvlakis come with a side of fries (not hand-cut) or salad. I upped my order and asked for the Horiataki salad, which is lettuce-less and contains cucumber, pepperoncini, tomato, tangy feta, green peppers, and anchovy. The dressing tasted homemade and was a red wine vinaigrette. The little restaurant has about five inside tables and a few cute outside umbrella tables with tea lights to brighten the mood. Make the trek if you want to grab a bite for your plane ride before, during, or after. It is worth it. read more

Be sure to check the Specials board (it is to the left of the slider fridges and to the right of the counter). They have an impressive menu with a good variety of dishes. Great mahi sandwich! Flavorful and a great portion for the price! Tried the rice pudding and that was great as well lots of cinnamon flavor. The only down side was the hummus appetizer. It was lacking in flavor and the bread was hard. Not worth it. Staff great and food was quick! read more

I looked in Yelps to get lamb chop n it said $23.99 when I ordered and went to pickup they charged me $44.00 which I think is outrageous I ordered last week at the one in Outlet n they where only $21.99 and very tasty absolutely highway robbery, I will never order from them again even though they are close to my house I'll go to the outlet first. read more

Nice staff but the smell in here almost turned my stomach. It smells like dirty frying oil. The chicken skewer plate I got had the smallest pieces of chicken. I got an extra skewer, making a total of 4 skewers, and it probably summed to about 3oz of chicken for about 26 bucks. The chicken was greasy and left a puddle of grease on the plate. Tzatziki is good though. The gyro meat had a very weird taste too in the gyro I got. I think this place could turn some people's stomach. The baklava I got also tasted at least a day and a half old and was soggy/stale. Their hummus also tastes like it comes from the grocery store, not fresh at all. read more

I came here due to my friends suggestion and sure glad I did. The food was phenomenal. The only negative aspect would be the impersonal attitude of the man that took my to go order. He just didn't seem too friendly on the phone or in person. Other than that, the food was the best, and I'll return again for that only reason. Good food but the customer service needs some work. I have been ordering the same thing the same way from here for years and it has always been good. I go online to place my order and it says that what I get comes with a greek salad, and it has ALWAYS come with a greek salad. Picked up my order tonight and when i got home 15 mins away, no salad. So i call up to ask if it still comes with the salad because it still says it on the website and their answer was, "well when you ordered it you didn't specify what kind of salad you wanted so we assumed you didn't want one" I let them know that there was no place to specify what salad I wanted, or if I wanted one at all, and there never was, and this is the way I have always ordered it online and why would it be different now?? It literally says, "comes with a greek salad" It doesn't say , "comes with a CHOICE of salad" So i asked her, "well don't you think since i didn't specify what salad i wanted, even though that was not a choice for me to even do so, that when i got there, you should have asked me, "did you want the salad that this dish comes with??" She agreed that would have been the right thing to do. So then i expected her to say that they would refund me for the salad i paid for but didn't get but get this, her solution was, "well I'll remember your name and next time, I'll give you a salad with it." I couldn't believe what i was hearing. I repeated back to her to make sure i understood. "So you're saying that the NEXT time i order from you and pay AGAIN for my order that says it COMES with a greek salad, that I'll actually get the salad it says it comes with, and that i paid for, to make up for not getting the salad i paid for this time??" Easily one of my favourite lunch spots. Located in Northwood in a little shop, nothing fancy but worth the visit. I typically order the Mahi (pita) sandwich and it is delicious, along with the healthy portion of Greek salad I get as the side. The flavour is plentiful and they don't skimp on the Mahi. We have order from Souvlaki a few times with the girls at work and the NEVER disappoint. The food is always delicious. I've tried the humus which tastes super fresh. I've had the traditional gyro, chicken souvlaki and the falafel all amazing. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are in the area. read more

Prices are cheap, you get a lot of food for your money, they used to have rolling rock beer in the cooler which is my favorite, but I'll settle for a mythos which is pretty dang good, would recommend. The gyro is my favorite, comes with fries or rice. They have specials which change often. We stopped by here for dinner one night a few weeks ago (sorry, have been lazy about Yelping) and truth be told, my expectations were of mediocre Greek fast food. Boy was I wrong. We sat down inside as they were setting up for live music on the sidewalk, somewhat unsure of what the procedure was. Do we get waited on? Do we order ourselves? But someone nodded to us to just sit and someone came over. I ordered the braised lamb shank and he ordered the appetizer plate (I think that might have actually been what it was called as well). Wonderful olives, great-tasting hummus, good falafel, fresh feta, and the tzatziki.... mmmm. My lamb was so amazing, it melted in my mouth. I'm salivating just thinking about it. And then in total fat kid fashion, we finished up with a dessert of baklava. So tasty. The service is as attentive as it can be since it's diner-style. It's clean, somewhat loud when the crowd comes in, but everyone wanted to make sure we were having a good time and a good meal. Even the regulars commented on the food-- "prepare to be amazed". It obviously attracted the Palm Beach locals as there were a few women who walked in with purses as expensive as my car, so don't let the neighborhood dissuade you. Overall, it was fabulous. Souvlaki Grill is the best local Greek food there is! Fresh, authentic, and traditional flavors. You have to try everything at least once! Our favorites are the grilled octopus, horiatiki salad, pork souvlaki, and Nick's tzatziki! Live music often on Friday nights (check their Facebook page to be sure). The music and food combo makes you feel like you're in a taverna in Greece. We also had Souvlaki Grill cater our baby girl's baptism. Fantastic food! I love the shrimp souvlaki, falafel sandwich and the baklava. I eat here at least twice a week and it's always fantastic.

Possibly the best thing to order on Postmates! Always consistent and arrives looking like somebody gave a damn to make it. The accompanying salads are always fresh with lots of feta. Just a word to the wise make sure that when you order you select your side correctly or you could be in the mood for french fries and end up eating like a rabbit. On the Postmates app it says you do with fries however you have to check the fries box otherwise you'll end up with the salad, but like I said before isn't a bad thing. There aren't many great Greek restaurants so it's awesome having this restaurant in the area. The food is incredible and the prices are very reasonable. The inside is usually pretty clean and I enjoy dining in and getting take out from souvlaki. I love the chicken skewers and the sauce.
