I started coming here a couple weeks ago and everything has been amazing. My favorite things are the chicken Shawarma, as well as the Greek and Middle Eastern salad. And my absolute favorite thing is the pistachio baklava which tastes very authentic. And everything is really delicious and I love that everything is Halal, which is very hard to find in my opinion. read more

This place is a GEM!! The spices are amazing and the meat is so tender. We got the muhammara dip, which I had never heard of, it was delicious. The lamb meat has so much flavor. The inside looks like a mom and pop place and it has a lot of character but the stars of this show was definitely the meats. Don't forget to get the lemon potatoes, they are out of this world!! read more

This has been our go to Greek restaurant for over 10 years. However, it is in desperate need of a makeover. The ambience is bleak, food is so-so since new owners. The tzatziki used to be made fresh, seems it comes from a bottle now. The food is average, it used to be amazing. read more

Only go there if you don't like to eat Meat but if you are a meat eater then this place isn't for you because you won't get enough meat to eat!!! I went there with a bunch of work colleagues and we ordered a lot of food but we were very disappointed with the food and specially the quantity. The portion of the meat given was so less. They filled the plate with salad and rice and hardly any meat. And it wasn't like this one one platter but it was the same on everyone's platter as we all ordered different stuff and everyone barely got any meat. They used to be good and used to give decent portions of meat but not anymore. I also had to go ordered and when I opened up the order at home there was only 4 small slices of meat in the gyro sandwich. I was so not happy with this service. To go order was even worst then what we ate at the restaurant. I guess they figure that no one will come back once they go home. Never going to that restaurant again and I would not recommend it to anyone either unless you are vegetarian and ok with eating salad only with barely any meat. read more

Ok my 3 star review has nothing to do with what the food tasted like it was actually good but the establishment was nasty ... floors were dirty all around the corners ... the place was just nasty everything was just looked old ... they could add a fresh coat of paint or something! I'd been here once before and remembered the belly dancing and fire eating and I decided to treat my bro to a dinner here on Saturday night. I was a bit disappointed that they discontinued the belly dancer, but other than that I really enjoyed myself. Service was kinda slow, but the place was fairly crowded and we weren't in any rush. The chicken soup was really good, loaded with carrots, potatoes, chicken and I think it was squash. My dinner was lamb kebabs and although it was tasty, the meat amount was on the smaller side, compared to the menu price, however it was cooked hot and juicy so that's a definite plus. The free pita pieces were excellent for making little lamb sandwiches with the cubes of meat. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would 100% go back again. read more

I ordered some appetizer trays and a dessert Baklava tray for our party. The dessert trays are pretty arrangements of delicious hummus, tabouli, dolma, spanakopita and felafel with Tahini sauce. Food was not as good and the our waitress did t know what anything was on the menu or the special that was written on the board as you walk in. Pretty good food. I think they need to update their booth seating. The booth tables are a little small. The service was excellent. Our wait staff was very helpful and accommodating. I had the kabob plate with rice and a salad. It was all pretty tasty. Kofta is good, but make sure you order more than one. The Kofta skewers are pretty small. All in all, my meal was pretty tasty. I would definitely come back and try some other things on the menu. read more

Visiting from up north. After passing miles and miles of national chains, all I wanted was something authentic,. Service was very fast and friendly. Nobody working here looked Lebanese to me, but there was one dark-skinned person in the back, so maybe the kitchen is run by real Lebanese people. Everything was freshly-prepared and fresh-tasting, but flavor-wise things were a little bland. Possibly due to non-native kitchen staff? I have had dinner there last month and the dinner was terrible, no flavor no spices used like the Greeks use. in. I had lunch my girlfriend yesterday and again food was not good, small portion, I mentioned to the waitress that there is no seasoning on the meat. She was rude and said we don't season our food. I told her what kind of Mediterranean restaurant is this. I don't recommend this. read more

For our entrees we got chicken tagine and lamb chops. I must say the lamb chops were phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. I definitely recommend getting them medium. All in all if you're looking for something different definitely go check it out!

After moving to South Florida, I was told that it would be extremely difficult to find good restaurants. For instance, I've eaten Chinese food on every continent and the worse (unauthentic) is in Japan and Florida. I used to enjoy most country's foods and would find something good with each. I'm not a snob but have had the luck to dine in major cities throughout the United States and internationally. Sometimes you just have "to go for it" and try something new. Our first meal at Aladdin was, to put it simply, boring. We generally give restaurants more than one chance hoping it was an off night. Unfortunately, we were also overcharged, adding insult to injury. Mr. Arbid, the owner was contacted and refunded our money and was quite charming. He seems to be a warm individual and enlists trust. 'Probably a great grandfather. We weren't planning to go back anytime soon until mid- Eastern friends suggested we give it (another) chance. The first meal wasn't a mistake. Runny tzatziki dip was slightly interesting but the tiny pita slices were too small even for children. The calamari made an effort to be interesting but didn't quiet hit the mark with cheap tasting tomatoe-ish sauce that could have been upgraded if it were Ragu. Gyro was a chore to eat and accompanying yellow rice had even less taste. Our friend did like the Tilapia (misspelled on the menu) and we all thought the lentil soup was okay. We sat outside and there was no other customers other than very few take out orders. We did have to get up and go inside to get more pita by asking one of five people milling around. They were pleasant (and respectful) but a little inattentive. The height of negativity was when the bill was presented and we were overcharged. We asked to substitute the calamari for a salad (included in the 2 for $25 early bird) , and were led to believe that we would only pay the difference. When my friend got his change back, he was shorted by over $10. The staff didn't seem upset or apologetic and made the adjustment. Our friends have mid Eastern accents but speak five languages. Did the staff think we were tourists and wouldn't notice? We'll never know. I took a take out menu to mark the date and to remind myself of this duplicated scam. By the way, if you're a frequent diner, they will give you a card to validate each time you come in. Unfortunately, you'd never know this unless you ask for it. Bad news- we can't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The good news- if you're willing to take the time, there are much better ones, but miles away. read more

I ordered the other night for takeout like a few other times in the past. It is like a 25 min drive but was feeling like Mediterranean food so off we went. When I got home I realized that one of the bigger items ordered was missing and that another was not the type I was told and had ordered so I called the restaurant and one of the young men answered and I started to explain the problem when he interrupted me and said they were closed, I explained further and he apologized and relayed what I was saying word for word to the owner. The owner said "no big deal tell them to ask for me next time and I will give them one to replace it"then I told him about how the rest of the order want right and he started calling the poor waitress that had helped me STUPID WOW couldn't believe his ignorance as he continually berated her it was terrible. Then when we thought it couldn't get any worse the food was spoiled!!!!! The hummus had just started to turn. It smelled awe full and at closer examination my girlfriend found what was a price of long hair in the spinach pie GROSS! WETHOUGHT TILL WE FOUND WHAT LOOKED LIKE A TOE NAIL. I have been searching far and wide in Palm Beach for a comfortable restaurant that serves authetic Middle Eastern and Greek cuisine and have been unsuccessful. I've been to them all and left disappointed. Now that I've found Aladdin, my search is over. I sat at a comfortable booth with my wife and was immediately attended to. We ordered the Sagganaki cheese appetizer that was fun and delicious. For my entree I had the Lamb kabob platter with 2 juicy, tender lamb kabobs, plenty of rice, creamy hummus and the freshest tabouleh I've ever had. The pita was warm and not hard.. My wife ordered a greek salad with lamb shwarma. The shwarma was out of this world and the salad was fresh and very large for a great price. They also have burgers and other food for those not interested in Middle Eastern cuisine. For dessert our waitress recommended a cheese dessert and Arabic coffee that was amazing. Janis was extremely helpful in answering our (many) questions, gave great recommendations, very friendly and invited us to return for bellydancing on weekends! The food, atmosphere, and service was all excellent. My wife and I left stuffed and happy. Aladdin has definitely gained new regular customers. My visit to this Mediterranean restaurant was a mixed experience. We sat inside and the ambiance was nice. Almost a deli look and feel. The highlights were the flavorful falafel, and the hummus dip. The disappointment came with the pita, which was not fresh, affecting the overall enjoyment. The meat grape leaves were just ok and the lahmajun was good but nothing outstanding. The kanafe, unfortunately, also fell short of expectations. The pastry did not fill the whole dish and was not crispy. The service was decent, but the inconsistency in the food quality was a letdown. While the standout dishes were commendable, the not-so-fresh pita and disappointing kanafe contributed to my 3-star rating. The waitress and waiters were great, to hear the owner(manager) or who ever the Oder man was behind the counter talking to the workers like they were slaves and dumb ones. It was amazing to hear such dis respect, however, to make matter worse much worse the food was terrible. Not only was it not very fresh but a few things were actually past the point of sale! I ordered the Greek salad with a chicken skewer and falafel because I wanted to taste a few things. I got a large salad because I was hungry. I could not finish it. It was too much for one and probably enough for two if they are not big eaters the chicken skewer was delicious with perfectly seasoned chicken which was cooked perfectly as well. It is so unusual to get skewers to taste this good and even more so in a restaurant that is not so fancy. By the way, when I say not so fancy because I ate in, I was served on regular plates, not paper. The falafel was not the best I had but far from the worst. I prefer a bit more of the Middle Eastern flavors, but I found it very satisfying and happily ate it all. The greens, the olives, the hot peppers, everything in the salad was delicious. They did not overdress the salad, so it was not soggy like many ordered and similar restaurants. The people that took the order were really nice and friendly, and they brought my food to me at the table. They have beverages which I enjoyed. It was surprisingly uncrowded, but there seem to be an excellent takeout business as they were constantly sending bags out I have bookmarked this is a place to stop when I am driving by. It is not inexpensive, but it is well priced for the quality that they give you. Highly recommended.

Enroute to our hotel I spotted Agora and checked it out online. Reviews were good, never had Turkish food (we love Greek, Israeli, we recently tried Lebanese) so this sounds aswesome. Easy reservations at 5.30, our next event was 7 pm Greeted warmly and picked any table. Place did fill in by the time we left. No table pita or salads, so good to know. We had: 1) Eggplant 2) Pita and Hummus (less Tahini than Greek, still delicious) 2) Dumpling Dish 3) Beyti 4) One glass wine. At the end they brought some Turkish tea shots on the house. They have some small two top tables inside and a couple high tops outside. They had a board with lunch specials on it. But we wound up ordering from their regular menu. I got the moussaka and he got pasticchio. Both dishes came with a very generously sized Greek salad and warm pita wedges to start. The salads had tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, onions, pepperoncinis, and romaine lettuce topped with feta cheese and dressing. There was also a small rice stuffed grape leaf -- cut in half. The salad could have been a meal in itself. The moussaka was layered egg plant and potatoes with a ground beef filling topped with cinnamon béchamel sauce. The pasticchio is the Greek version of lasagna but with elbow macaroni. Both portions were quite filling. I ate my dish and he brought half of his home. He was saving room for dessert. For dessert, he had galaktoboureko which is a custard filled pastry topped with simple syrup. He said it was good, but it would have been better if warmed. Or at least if the syrup was warm. We had very good service. If you like Greek food and are in the area, this is a good place to try. Large portions at reasonable prices.
