The restaurant was nicely done, and even though we arrived a little early before the dinner rush, the atmosphere was already great. We were seated right away, and both our server and the manager came over quickly to make sure everything was taken care of. We ordered a great variety of appetizers for the table baba ghanouj, hummus, falafel, kibbeh, labneh, and fresh bread. Everything looked beautiful, smelled amazing, and tasted even better. I ordered the lamb kabab with rice, and honestly, it was so good I didn't want to share it with anyone. The music was great, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was fantastic. I was especially impressed with how involved and attentive the manager and server were throughout the meal. If you love Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food, or you simply enjoy trying different kinds of food, I definitely recommend giving La Vie Mediterranean a try. In my opinion, this is easily one of my top three Middle Eastern restaurants on the East Coast. Great food, great people, great service, and a really enjoyable experience.
