I'm at a loss for words in a way. I always wanted a hat like this, but was afraid I wouldn't get the right one, right kind, wrong fit, wrong brand. But I've been bonding with my dad over Yellowstone - fantastic show - and I recently grew a beard, so I thought, well, now's the time to see if that hat works, ya know? I trusted Greeley Hat Works based on reputation, and them having done hats for the show, but I will be back because of my own experience, their amazing team, their care for the customer experience, the little touches like the signatures on the inside of the sweatband... honestly, I never knew how quickly I could come to be so attached to an article of clothing until now. I will wear my Greeley Hat Works hat til I'm tits up in the dirt, if you'll excuse the language, and even then, it's probably the most impressive item around. I appreciate what you delivered to me - money well spent, trust earned - and I'm a happy, will-return customer, and I just want to impart on any strangers stumbling on my review, you can't go wrong with these folks. They are truly the best.

The crown is now WAY too tall and looks BERY goofy on the head

It could be done by mail shipping to and from Steamboat Springs, CO. They would check it, send an estimate and with acceptance repair and ship it back. That seemed unnecessarily complicated from a place like Boulder, home of many outdoor gear companies and repair support. We stopped in to the place we had purchased it, our REI store being incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of such repairs, though they don't do any themselves. They gave us two names, Bare Boulder being the most comprehensive and a 20 minute drive away, on a prominent street in Lafayette. I called, got info from the owner, Eli, about general pricing and timing. We took the bag of poles out 3 weeks ago, the estimate in person was at the low end of general approximation on the phone. We dropped it off and was told about 3 weeks as my husband had no need to camp with for at least a month. We picked it up today, ready on time and beautifully done with even higher quality cord than original. The shop is amazing, with antique sewing machine display, thousands of sizes and colors of zippers, piles of buckles and straps. It appears he can fix such parts on almost anything, luggage, jackets, backpacks, scuba BC vests, tents handbags, tote bags, recreation gear galore. We will certainly return as we wear out more and more of our gear.

I couldn't find any clear resources on how to fix this myself, and local tailors said they couldn't handle luggage repair, but recommended asking a cobbler. I found Mr Shine on Google and called ahead to see if they repair luggage, and then dropped off the next day. I was informed that they could try to replace the slider & pull, but that it may not be possible given some damage to the zipper, and they would keep me updated. Because they were unsure of the possible repair, I didn't have to pay anything at drop off (I really appreciated their transparency!). I got a call a few days later that the suitcase was fixed, and they were able to do the cheaper option after all. At pickup, the zipper teeth were straight, there was a leather reinforcement added to the end of the track, and the slider and pull were new and moved around smoothly. Their team is clearly skilled at what they do, especially for a repair that seemingly no other business wants to touch! They have beautiful handmade shoes on display in the store as well. The staff were kind and helpful both in person and over the phone. Definitely recommend for shoe, luggage, handbag repair & more!

I couldn't find the correct size and color, but the proprietor took time to look for what I needed, found them and gave them to me. Yes, GAVE. He said they would be only a bit higher once he put them in. When I picked up the shoes he had instead added entire resoles to both shoes, saying there was a "bump" that prevented just doing the heel on one shoe. No extra charge but now my thin, minimal shoes had 1/4" soles. Right away I took a weeklong trip and on the second day, the entire sewing around one shoe Popped open, with all the threads snapped off short. The other shoe had started to snap off, too. A shoe repair shop said the Little Boot repair had sanded the threads during the resoling and they should redo them. When I returned, Fernando and I respectfully disagreed about whether he had caused the separation, but he generously agreed to resew them at no charge. I picked them up today, and he still did not charge me. He is still assertively claiming he did not cause the problem. I am not persuaded either way. However, my soft, flexible shoes are not minimal any more. And I spent 6 days of my trip in borrowed shoes that were uncomfortable on my bunion. You can take what you want from this tale. He asked for a review and there it is.
