This small, boulangerie churns out some of the best pastries. The perfectly laminated layers of each croissant/pastry deliver the most satisfying crunch. Authentic French croissants and delights right in our own backyard! You must absolutely come here first thing in the morning before this wonderful shop is completely sold out. Tucked away in a little strip mall next to a French restaurant, only the best is served here. Not a very large tour, but would a lack and space it makes up fortenfold in quality. French ovens, French chef, equal fantastic results. Check website for operating hours as they are not open every day. Nice little shop with some of the French bakes classics. I was here a bit late (11am), so my options were somewhat limited...recommend getting here before 9am on the weekends for the full selection! I ordered a couple croissants of differing varieties, and a Napoleon. Both were delicious. The croissants were flaky, light, and delicious subtle flavors. Enjoyed coming to Le Petit Paris. It's a very cozy shop with a surprisingly diverse selection of pastry, cakes, and bread with sweet and savory options. Service is very friendly and patient. Their pastry dough is excellent with a great buttery flavor. The filling flavors are also equally good however the amount of filling could probably be dialed up a bit like the almond paste in the almond croissant or the rum raisins in their bread. Their croissant is so fresh and delicious! It's a small bakery shop but the staffs are so friendly and helpful. There are many varieties of croissants from sweet to savory. This place was a hidden gem. There were many bakeries that was around Lincoln but for some odd reason this French bakery spoke out to me. The chef is actually from France and he makes all his pastries and bread in house. The pretzel with the pudding filling in it was truly amazing but nothing compares to the pastry which had the little icing on the top. Forgot what it was called but it was their best pastry hands down. Will definitely return when I am back in Lincoln. Service was amazing as well. read more

This is a premiere patisserie. Many new places have opened but I still find myself choosing this place first. Sausage rolls in flaky croissant/puff are great. All croissants are top notch. It's hard to decide what to get but per the ladies at Concepts Salons they said to go for the Almond Croissant and Apple Struedel. Tried them both and were tasty. If you're looking for super yummy, authentic French pastries, this is your place!!!! Everything is delicious! I can't get out of the bakery without spending at least $50. The Apricot croissants are so good in the morning with a cup of coffee. The pudding knots, almond croissants, ham and egg pastries, spinach pastries, lemon tarts, fruit tarts, baguettes ... I could go on. The Cruffins are a lot of fun (hard to eat but delicious) and the flavor of the pastry cream inside changes every day. They even have authentic Opera Cakes in two varieties - original and pistachio. The salmon rillette sandwich is to die for. Ugh. I could easily eat my weight in both sweet and savory treats!! Mmmmmmm........quicker than you can say croissant', this delightful pastry is consumed at our house! I can't drive by Le Petit without stopping for an apricot croissant and there have been times when I return home with an empty bag due to a lack of will power. Get there early for the best selection and don't shy away from the boxes of day old rolls (they are a bit of a bargain) that taste fresher than many bakery rolls found at your local market. For the holidays you can order a Yule Log but orders must be placed a couple of weeks out due to the construction process and high demand, but they are worth the wait! Friendly service, always a "Bonjour" when entering and delicious pastries will keep you coming back to this French find in a non descript strip mall in west Omaha. read more

We were visiting Omaha and decided to try this bakery for breakfast. My only complaint is they have no place to sit and enjoy one of their fabulous pastries. We had a plain croissant and an apricot croissant. Both were delicious! We liked this bakery so much that we stopped by on our way out of town and bought an assortment to take home. We stopped by this hidden gem early morning about 7am...there were a variety of croissants available from your plain to your savory. I got an apricot one and a pudding twist! Both were fresh out of the oven and still warm as I took a bite! The staff is friendly and greeted us with a warm smile. Wonderful! I continue to love this amazing little pastry shop. The nice thing is they are doing curbside during the pandemic, so you don't even have to get out of your car in order to get these scrumptious treats. I recommend the tarts, baguettes, croissants and eclairs. I haven't had a chance to try their cakes yet, but they look beautiful. Due to the pandemic they have some pasta dishes in the cold case. I tried the truffle mac and cheese and it was so good. Truly the best mac and cheese I have ever had. I would say that I'm going to try out the other pastas soon, but probably not. I've tried the baguettes, cruffins (flavors vary every day but the lemon is my favorite) and pretty much everything else they have to offer and have always been blown away. So good! Go! We drove for an hour to get here (due to the stellar reviews.) However, when we arrived, they had an extremely small selection. So disappointing... We decided on a croissant, a cup of mousse, and some crème brûlée-- all they really had. The croissant was brittle and dry, not to mention it was not fresh AT ALL. The mousse had a nauseating taste. The crème brûlée was overly sweet as well. The employees? The two girls there seemed quite stuck-up and cocky, and as if they didn't want to be there. I mispronounced a French word, and they rudely snickered at me. Not a pleasant experience.. For the outrageous pricing for extremely small portions, we will never be back. read more

Although I am still disappointed in their pastries, I do really love their crustless quiche. Apparently the chef at Le Voltaire next door bakes them. Are usually get them to go and heat them up at home. Surprisingly, they even turn out well when you microwave them! Perfect texture, not too watery, with bits of bacon. read more

We have bought baked goods from this bakery a couple times and have not had a bad bite ever. They boast several types of croissants and other French baked treats like macarons. The croissants are always buttery and flakey with the layers you want to see in a well made croissant. The cremes are rich and flavorful, just as the fruit filled pastries. Recently, we were able to grab a couple of their now famous cruffins and wow, they are worth the wait. They are essentially giant croissants that are baked in a tall muffin pan. Filled with varying flavors (by week) of patisserie creme, they are extremely good. Please give it a shot, you will not regret it! read more

After another couple trips here, I still believe this is one of the best bakeries in Omaha. The baguette's are top notch, perfect crispy exterior and a airy interior and best eaten the day it is bought. My other favorite bread is the pain de mie. Picture the fluffiest, most flavorful white bread that is perfect for toast or sandwiches. The worst thing about it is the loaf is on the smaller side. The croissant's are great, flaky perfection and with the pain au chocolat and cinnamon roulade being the best of the bunch. One weekend we did try the big sweet kouglof for a group of friends, the sour cream and rum raisins on the brioche were good but not great. The macarons should be coming out soon and so should the lunch time sandwich offerings. read more

Favolosa! I'm very picky about croissant, macaron and eclair as I was born and raised in one of the biggest cities Tokyo in the world where people always have fresh bakery. By fresh, I mean the pastry chefs bake all pastries in the middle of the night and open the store after 5 or 6am to always sell the pastries fresh and warm. Real Croissants you have in Italy, France or Spain are very soft and you can tell what fresh pastries really are. And I had them in those countries as well as in my home country Japan. Le Petit is the place I have found in Omaha, Nebraska by far the best bakery where you can have fresh pastries. Their croissant, macaron and eclair are very good. I believe a lot of people who have high standards agree with this so everybody will enjoy their entertainments (pastries) for sure. I'm very thankful for knowing this place in Omaha :) read more
