The best coffee shop has a second location?!? It's inside the Omaha music conservatory but you're able to enter directly into the shop from the west door. It has all of the same charm and coziness of the original location while being more spacious with more seats. I tried another drink off the Finter (seasonal) menu the Juniper Latte and it was delicious and reminded me of my favorite gin!!! The baristas are always amazing. There's a cute kids corner with toys and books. Giant parking lot available. There is a ramp on the south side for strollers/wheelchairs etc. read more

This location is attached to the Omaha Conservatory of Music, so it does get busy on weekend mornings. They also have events like storytelling and improv for kids, so it can be loud if you are going here to study. It does calm down after lunch though. I personally prefer their other location better as it is more cozy and less kids present. But this is a cute space overall to hang out, they have couches and different sizes of tables. Their lattes are a bit pricey for how much you get. read more

Came here to study on a Saturday and it was great. Service was friendly, ambiance was chill and fun (they had a little Halloween event for the kids today) and their drinks were yummy! I'm a big fan of the original M&C location, and was delighted to learn of this one further west. They've done a good job of replicating the vibe of the old house on 33rd st, while also using the larger space well. And the coffee is just as good. Cute shop! I can't say little, there's a huge seating area. I was confused on how to enter the coffee shop. This was my first time here and I had no idea it was actually INSIDE the music conservatory. The coffee shop door is the same door for the music center. The menus are hand held and you can decide when you order. They have plenty of seasonal specials. I was really excited to try this place because it advertised lots of gluten free foods and they were right! I loved the gluten free oatmeal date cookie. I also loved my vanilla date latte. It can get pretty busy so please be patient with the staff. The prices were very fair. Great coffee! read more

Super cute coffee shop tucked away behind the music conservatory! I stopped in on my way to work and got an iced vanilla latte. The woman who was working that morning was very kind and talked to me a bit about what I look for in a go-to cafe. She also mentioned how they use local ingredients when possible and no refined sweeteners in their drinks, which I thought was cool. My latte was really good, even after sitting in the car for a while! It wasn't too sweet or too bitter and was just creamy enough for my liking. They are not the cheapest, but I understand that high quality ingredients cost more. It may not be my go to because of that, but definitely a treat. They had some local goodies and merch for sale as well. There is a lot of space and seating inside, so it seems like a great place to hang out or get work done. Awesome little coffee shop attached to the Conservatory. Well lit, open, plenty of seating...even a cool baby grand piano! There is also a kids area with an assortment of toys, bartop seating facing Cass St and lots of indoor plants for decoration. The honey latte was very good, and the grain free baked goods were also tasty. Also had small snacks for purchase (cheese sticks, crackers, etc). Another great Myrtle and Cypress location! The entrance was easy to find and easy to access, the coffee shop itself is really large and so many areas to sit. The barista was fabulous, she was kind and helpful and got my drink out to me quickly. I love that they have espresso tonics, those are my favorite drink here! They had an orange one last summer that was one of my favorite drinks of the season. This year's is a grapefruit elderflower tonic, which was also fabulous. I could taste the grapefruit over the elderflower, which is great for me because I love a citrus profile. I liked the inside of this location, the seating was expansive, the couches looked comfy, and plenty of table space to work or chat. They have a baby grand piano inside, it was the perfect little addition! Lots of treat options and pay-what-you-can flowers, both fresh and dried. This location, the 2nd for Myrtle & Cypress, brings so much of what we all love from the OG coffee house in Gifford park. They made the wide open, hard surface lobby into something truly cozy and warm. It is bright, welcoming, and a great space for lingering. The addition of plants (in very cool planter boxes), velvety curtains, varied seating options, books and games and toys go a long way in making the space feel so inviting. If you haven't yet made it to their original location, you may not know they roast their own beans. Any cup of coffee will prove to be delightful here. They carry Artemis teas for the tea lovers among us, and you'd be remiss to not try it alongside some local honey while you're here. M&C consistently produces high quality goods - from bakery items that are allergy-friendly, to Omaha's first air roasted coffee, to their to-die-for avocado toast. But even better than all of that, they work really hard to build a truly hospitable and kind and knowledgeable team. Had a great experience here getting coffee with someone and our toddlers! They have a nice area for kids to play with magnatiles and books while you sit and drink coffee-- this is a rarity in Omaha and a reason that we will return for sure! There were numerous options for tea and lots of places to spread out and study as well-- it's a beautiful space! Ample parking. It is tucked away a little from the street so you have to drive around to find the entrance and parking lot but it's worth it! What a great coffee shop! The baristas are always friendly and the drinks are amazing. I love how they make house made syrups that are all natural with amazing ingredients! I'd love to give it five stars yet the black coffee has not met my expectations. I've been many times and have found the mixed drinks are where they shine. Their tea is great like the Chai tea - not too sweet which I love. Their avocado toast is a bit more than I'd like to spend yet it is delicious and love that it comes with a lot of hard boiled egg so you're getting some good amount of protein. Their yogurt parfait also was more money than I think it should be yet was absolutely delicious and pretty filling. I wish they had a drive thru as I may stop more often when heading someplace yet do appreciate the intentionality of taking the moment to enjoy your cup and do prefer - when time permits - to seat inside where the atmosphere is great. It's very open and bright with lots of natural light. It has an area for kids to play/read yet still a good place to work or study in my times there (as in the kids who do come aren't loud and obnoxious but there is a place and kids can be kids so be warned if you want moreso a guarantee of little to no noise). The staff has always been so friendly and welcoming and helpful when I'm trying to make a decision on what to get. Pretty much everyone and thing here is 5 stars but the black coffee and since this is a coffee place, I will have to give it one less star. P.S. I do very much appreciate the clean ingredients they use as well are not a bunch of sugar and they use honey or other sweetners (as they are vegan friendly if you ask!). read more

Great spot for a "coffee talk" meeting! Ambiance is really nice...and has several spots to tuck away if you want to be more secluded. Even a spot for the kids to play while you sip and read or just "be". It's a counter order..and staffing was adequate so coffee was served in a reasonable time..and was delish! Great physical space at the conservatory. Bright and modern decor is appealing. Service is fine. Staff is friendly. The coffee is 5 star worthy...however the 2 times I have visited Myrtle &Cypress they did not have any half & half, only whole milk...rather odd for a coffee house. My rationale for giving 3 stars is because of their selection of baked goods. EVERYTHING is nut, gluten, wheat and pretty much flavor/texture free too. There are certainly folks out there with dietary restrictions, but is there a celiac outbreak/pandemic in Fairacres I'm not aware of??? My suggestion would be to offer both options for all of their customers. read more
