YESSSSSS! A thousand times, YES! I'm a transplant from Seattle. We survived just fine on one car there, but it's been a bit more challenging here (though it can be done!). Add to the mix a broken ankle and I've had to get creative. I'm not a huge fan of Taxi transportation in general, so I usually research pretty heavily before I call. I was so relieved to see a cab company that prides themselves on training, customer service and clean cabs. Not only clean physically, but clean for the environment. All of their cabs are hybrids. Score! I made my first appointment online via their website. It was seamless. They called to confirm and had everything set. I had to reschedule and did that over the phone which was a breeze as well. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. My driver was unbelievably sweet. She came to my door, helped me with my crutches, getting my purse together, getting in the car etc. I've never experienced such a friendly, sweet demeanor from a cab driver. She was swift, knew all the shortcuts and kept me laughing the whole way. Keep Green Cab's number in your phone and give them a try! I won't call anyone else whether I need a ride to a Drs apt, or a ride to get my drunk butt home. Remember, a cab is always cheaper than a DUI. read more

Let's just say I had a rough night a few weeks ago and I needed a cab to help get to my car I left at 308. I checked on yelp and decided to use these guys for the cab ride over. I called for a cab and sure enough they arrived right on time - actually 5 minutes early! The driver was very nice and double checked he had the correct address, even asked if I had a route preference. He was very talkative and made some friendly conversation because he could tell I had a rough night (ha!) Anyways. He got me where I needed to be in a timely manner and he was quite pleasant compared to the horror stories I've had with other cabs. Good company. read more

Scheduled a 430am cab pickup and when they didn't show called and got attitude from Lauren. She said they cancelled my ride because they called 4 times and I did not answer. No call was made. I asked about them dialing a wrong number and was suddenly presented with a different attitude. 20 minutes later, almost 30 minutes late, get a call from a cab coming from downtown to Hermitage. Called back and was told by Lauren that's the best I can do because you didn't answer my call "I promise I called you". How would you know if you supposedly called and I didn't answer? I then get "I just work here and don't own the place" when asked if they would pay for missing my flight due to their negligence and "have a blessed day" before Lauren hung up on me. Never. You know it's all too easy to find something to complain about, but I usually find that it's our own attitude that sets the bar for the level of service we receive. I was lucky enough to get picked up by green Cab driver, Salem, at Nashville International the other day. He was more than pleasant and offered to handle my taxi needs over the next couple of days here, including picking me up from the Gaylord this morning at 4am! You can actually request for a Green Cab at the airport instead of the regular taxi, took about 10 minutes to wait for one. The driver was unfamiliar with the address, had to repeat it several times and then call my friend to give him directions even with his GPS on the dash. So far, so good! For an 11 mile ride, it was around $26, not bad. at all. read more

Ah-mazing! Definitely not your average cab company! Needed a ride after my car experienced trouble and called Green Cab Co. 10 minutes later, I was en route to my destination. OK most reviews talk about how a cab didn't show up or the bad service while riding in a the cab My problem was that I reserved a cab to pick me up at 11:30 and the driver checked in and said he was about 15min. away. But sadly he( #0017) was nowhere near the pick up location. To let you know I am not from Nashville and I only know how to get to some place. He was the one lost. My dorm director and I spent about 10 to 12mins trying to get him to the right spot. But sadly again he was still lost and confused all three of us(him, me, and my dorm director). He got so upset that he told me to find another cab!! Since I have taken all this time trying to help him find his way, I was not going to let him go. So when he finally picks me up, He apologizes a lot saying that there was something wrong with his GPS . Then the as we head off campus, asks me for directions to my destination and says, "its okay i will us my GPS." ( a second ago something was wrong with it!!). I've used this company a hundred times. I've been waiting on a cab now for an hour and twenty min. I live in inglewood. Not only have I still given you business after making me 30 min to an hour late for work on multiple occasions. This is the last time I will use green cab. It's a shame that this was the most reliable cab company in nashville. All of them are terrible but now green cab goes on my list with the rest of them. Uber/lyft get ready for a new regular. Then to top it off I receive a call 30 minutes later asking if I still need a pick up as he is only 10 minutes away. Sorry buddy you can't be trusted. After reading some reviews, I decided to use Green Cab to get to the airport. 1st he arrived about 15 minutes late. The interior of the van was not clean. On the way to the airport, it sounded like the engine was going to blow up. In fact when we got off the interstate to turn towards the airport I noticed that there wa smoke coming from the engine. I would not trust this cab company to get anywhere, unless there is a tow truck following. read more

Unfortunately we had a horrible experience. We schedule through On Cabs, paid for it and they never came. We called several times and no one would answer the phone. Eventually we had to catch another cab because we had reservations. We are now in the process of getting a refund, they claim that there computers were down, none the less we still need our money back. We'll see! and we certainly didn't call them again for the remainder of our trip. We used UBER and loved it. read more

I live one mile east of briley parkway towards madison and they don't pick up there. I took a cab here last night from east nashville and it was fine but this morning we don't service your area.The lady was nice about it but they get an F for not going a whole mile outside of east Nashville. read more

Horrible, Horrible experience. We took a cab from our hotel to the Grand Ole Opry. The cab fair was $7 with tip. When the Opry got out, we could not find a cab. We called another cab and after 30 minutes and another call, it had not shown up so we flagged this one down. We hopped in and told the driver where to take us. He said, "$25!" I said, "No way. That is highway robbery. It cost us $7 to get here." At this point he started driving erractically - like over the curb and repeated, "$25," or get out. The cab number was #15. The licence plate was 10063. We tried several times to call the company to complain. No one answers the phone. They obviously are not very serious about this business. read more

I wouldn't reccomend Green Cab. They provided me with one of the worst customer expereinces I recall ever having with any company of any kind. The negative reviews about the customer service and being glued to your phone are spot on! I booked online on a weekend for late the following week. The site took my reservationa and informed me that I would receive a call on Monday. I did not. I called them on Tuesday. The customer service rep said they had no online reservations. I provided more information. They found my reservation and confirmed the address and a pickup for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. At 5:20 p.m. on Thursday I started to watch for the cab. At that time I also checked my phone and had several missed calls from Green Cab and an unknown number. I called them back. They infomed me that the driver had arrived early and waited 20 mnutes. He and they had tried to call but I hadn't answered. I asked what time he had arrived. they said around 5 p.m. I reminded them that I had scheduled pickup at 5:30. They said that was correct but the driver had arrived just before 5:00 to ensure that they beat traffic and weren't late picking me up, they also wanted to leave plenty of time to get to the airport in rush hour traffic. They waited 20 minutes and then left. WHAT? I told them that I scheduled the pickup at 5:30 with traffic to the airport taken into consideration and had expected them to arrive around 5:30. All said and done, the representative at Green Cab said they could "try" to find another driver to come get me. Several minutes later I got a call from an unkown number so I answered. A man shouted at me, "Where you at?" I said the name of my neighborhood thinking it must be the Taxi driver, right? Then he responded, "No where you at? I was there and you don't answer your phone. Where you at?" After afew more rounds of "Where you at?" and me answering, apparently with the wrong answer. I hung up wondering if in fact it was a taxi driver or a scheme of some sort - given I'd booked the taxi online. How secure was their site? Within seconds the Green Cab representative called to tell me that they had found a driver and he would be calling me. "Please answer your phone this time." GRRRR - not great customer service!! The driver did call back, and we had a more pleasant conversation in which he informed me of his location. I knew, based on his current location, that it would be at least 45 minutes away in rush hour traffic. I told him I was sorry but there was no need to pick me up, I would drive myself. I called Green Cab and they didn't answer the phone so I left a message in which I cancelled the ride and drove myself to the airport. In the long run it was cheaper and MUCH less stressful to pay for a few days in long-term parking than to take Green Cab to the airport. And what kind of service would have received after a long flight home the following week? No thank you.If I could give them a negative star rating I would. Be ware! read more

She contacted my previous job through a receipt and they contacted me. Really awesome customer service and I will forever be a customer. read more

Rude drivers who have NO IDEA where they are going! I was recently visiting Nashville for a long weekend and used this cab company to ride from lower Broadway to my hotel, which was located off the Dickerson Pike Exit (about a 10 minute drive). As soon as my friends and I entered the cab (which was one of many lined up on the street), the driver was complaining loudly about not wanting to work and how he just wanted to go home. We told him the name of our hotel - which was our first mistake. ALWAYS give a direct address. After about 20 minutes of driving, we ended up in a completely deserted trailer park somewhere near the Opryland hotel, which was no where near our destination. Finally, my sister pulled up the directions on her phone and we had to tell our cab drive how to get to get there. Please mind you, that this hotel is directly off an Exit on I-65, it's not like it was hidden away. Our 10 minute drive took about 45 minutes with a horribly cranky and mean driver. The only saving grace was that her charged per head instead of per mile, so we weren't didn't have to pay for his mistake. Needless to say, I will be sure to never use this company again. read more

Called for a ride back to hotel while in Nashville. We waited triple the time the operator said, so we found the FREE green Music City Circuit bus by Nashville MTA. Check this bus route out, it does a loop around attractions, knowledgeable, great, friendly drivers! There is a blue bus loop too! read more

Green Cab brought us from downtown to a hotel near the airport. We have 7 people in there and one girl ended up leaving her purse in the front seat. I called that night to see if we could get it back. After talking to me for about 15 minutes to track down who our driver was they said that he was off duty but that we could come get it in the morning... I was getting ready to call at 10:15 when they told me to the next day and the cab driver called me and said he was almost out front of our hotel and brought it back... what AMAZING service. This was a really long story short but they are amazing people, friendly and willing to go the extra mile... we were for sure that it was gone forever! read more

Where to begin? First off I would like to say our driver was actually very nice. However, she was working July 4th in downtown Nashville and had never driven in the city before. Seems like a bad night to start her out but we helped her navigate us home no problem. When we arrived and went to swipe our CC it took a very long time. She told us it was broken and had us fill out a manual CC receipt which we did. Before we got out of the cab I noticed the CC machine said "paid" on the screen. I asked about it and she said she thought it was wrong but, you guessed it, it wasn't. We got charged on the 5th and then later on on the 15th (I'm assuming after they got around to running through the manual CC receipt). I tried to contact the company, no answer. Then tried again and did get a response but was basically told what I was saying could not have happened. After further emailing it became clear this woman had not fully read my first email because she thought I was saying the card had been run twice in one night and "that is impossible." So, no one takes two cab rides with your company in one night? After making me feel like a liar and a generally silly person for wanting this resolved she then offered to pay me with her own money because "the CC company would never put back the money." I, of course, told her I did not want her money but would simply prefer that her and her company handle this situation a little better in the future. I sent her my bank statement to send to her CC company anyway and wouldn't you know it, the CC company did approve that it was, in fact, a double charge. The way the whole thing was handled was so unprofessional. Whenever I see a Green Cab now, even if it is the only one available, I never use it. read more

For all we know, the negative reviews of this company may have one thing right - stay glued to your phone at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you have a time-sensitive reservation. We took that to heart and had no problem; the phone rang 30 minutes before our scheduled pickup and the driver was right on time. However, that (being available for a confirmation call) is probably good advice for ANY transportation reservation. You can find complaints about late pickups and no shows about every company in this category, including leading comment-bomb suspect Lyft. So you might as well choose the one with the smallest carbon footprint. read more

This was my first time using this company. Big mistake. First off they were 15 minutes late in picking me up. The driver was nice enough but the cab was OLD and DIRTY. I felt like I needed a shower once I was dropped off at the airport. I had seen these cabs around time in eco friendly vehicles. I was picked up in what appeared to be a 18 year old SUV. I called the company to complain, but like most companies go they could care less. Will never use or refer this company. read more
