We came in hungry just before they closed and the staff were very gracious and friendly. Half of our group ordered sandwiches and the other half ordered the Loaded Potato Soup. The building itself is quite nice, but unfortunately, there were a lot of flies inside and around the food. I also found the staff to be unwelcoming. When we walked in, two employees were chatting and didn't acknowledge us they just stared until another person came to take our order. Additionally, the menu doesn't list the toppings on the sandwiches, and when I asked, the employee taking my order didn't provide a complete list until I asked a second time and seemed annoyed. on a positive note my sub was good read more

If you are looking for a good sub for lunch, this is the place to be. The subs are made to order and generally build to your liking, choosing the cheese and veggies. Any sub can be turned into a salad. They have lots of other options on the menu like Mac and cheese, chili, and breakfast. I had the Manson Meatball sub, toasted, and added olives to it. The meatballs were seasoned well without being overpowering. The marinara was subtle and tasted fresh. Order at the counter and there are a few tables inside and outside to eat, they will bring it to you. They also have ice cream, froyo, shakes, and Freak Shakes. The last one is a work of art in ice cream! Pricey, but worth the experience. I did not have one myself but others in my party did and we were all in awe of this creation. The subs here were great but the Mac n Cheese was severely lacking. The girl who took my order had an attitude. Did not have to wait long to receive my order. We purchased 5 sandwiches. I paid the bill and was thinking it seemed a bit high. But everything does these days. I went, sat down waiting for the sandwich and looked at the receipt out of curiosity. I noticed a couple of the sandwich prices were not the same as on the menu. I was charged a couple dollars more. A little confused, I went and asked if they had made a mistake. The freak shakes are definitely a fun thing to get but after a few sips they were tossed in the trash. The shake themselves is extremely SWEET!! The strawberry cheesecake shake's ice cream taste like it had a coconut base which tasted off. My peanut butter shake was good and my daughter had the unicorn which was ridiculously sweet. It was so dry and bready, combined with dry, bland turkey, it was so gross I couldn't even eat it and ended up throwing it out. Green dot is a really great sub sandwich shop. The staff always greet you with a smile. This is the new location after leaving what is now Manson's chamber office. The new shop is bright and you can dine inside or outside. My favorite sandwich is the Freakin Stehekin. Which is they to die for sub for me. They offer a vegan selection as well. The options are good. The staff has always been friendly. As with other reviews mentioned, we found that they are heavy-handed with the mayonnaise so be sure to ask for very light mayonnaise if you don't like a lot. 4.5 stars for the Stehekin sandwich sub, but not the service. Have been 4 days in a row and mentioned to the "manager" that yesterday's sandwich was served dry (no dressings). Not looking for a free sandwich just a heads up. He could not have been more disinterested, not a comment or a even a "hey sorry about that" (which really was all that was needed). When the new order came out today it was handed over by an employee who when I handed him back the carry out bag (didn't need it and frankly was thinking of the biz owner overhead) took it back with the proverbial eye roll. Stopped in for lunch with my boyfriend. He ordered a sandwich and I just got some mac n' cheese. It was the frozen kind, and I know that because when it came out, half of it was still frozen. The people whowork there are very nice and very apologetic. The staff all seem like they care about serving people, so I have to still give them four stars (and Chelan restaurants definitely seem to have a hard time getting good reviews). People were super friendly and kind working there, place was clean , we came in before they closed and they happily made all 5 milk shakes , we payed left and had the worst milkshakes we had ever had the flavors were horrible and tasted liked perfume. I get a little skeptical when I read reviews of a small town eatery because they don't really have a lot of people critiquing them and, no offense, I wonder if the people who reside here ever get out to the big cities to have a well-rounded review. Well, this place being ever-so-convenient to get to from our lodge, we opted to go here because of the reviews and sheer convenience. Walking there took one minute, but we almost froze our tooshes off, g'lord it's freezing here. We were greeted by a kind lady and given the run down of popular choices and a brief history of the sammiches origins and I got the _____ (forgot the name, but had three meats: ham, roast beef, and bacon) and my lady got some breakfast wrap. Bundled with a bag o' SunChips and a Diet Coke, the total came to roughly $17. We went back to our room, opened our wrappings, and began to devour what I remember being a fairly large sandwich. My lady told me she enjoyed her breakfast wrap, although she should have opted for some meat, but as for me, I got growingly upset as I kept eating my meal. This was basically a Subway Melt, which I love, but FAR more tastier and cheaper. The flip..... now I have to go back to the city and overpay for drier bread, older meat, and have to suffer the blobfish-faced Subway employees instead of this pleasant lady. (Look it up. I promise you, my Subway sandwich artists resemble blobfish. It sucks.) The Turkey sandwich off the kids menu. Nothing special. Of course I saw that they had a Teriyaki Sub after I had already got mine. DARN! I bet that was good! I tell ya, I was going to give Green Dot a 3, but then I realized how friendly the kids were. I mentioned to my husband, its not very often you find young kids (high school age) that act like they give a shit in the customer service industry. The kids were actually so friendly, even asked us how our sandwiches were. So for that reason alone I bumped up my original rating. Left the car running with the wife and a couple kids in the car and walked in and ordered a Slide Ridge Italian. And then I waited. And waited. And waited. I was asked by one of the sandwich artists if what I ordered was correct, I said yes, and then waited some more. 20 minutes for a single, overdressed, mediocre sub is ridiculous. By the time I got back to the car the kids were antsy to get to the lake. Save time, money and get a better sub at Subway or just make your own sandwich. Nothing special here. read more

The place is good for an average palette customer. The Freakin Stehekin sandwich does sound like a ton of meat, but the meat and toppings here are pretty light. As a small women, I would definitely need a full sub to be a meal. Yes the mac and cheese is pre-made and then heated in a microwave. I used to eat it a few times a few summers ago before I started eating healthier. They do have a unique frozen yoghurt machine here with a ton of flavor options. Overall it's a fine choice for visitors in Chelan but as a resident I wouldn't make this my top choice. read more
