Incredibly busy from when we stepped in to when we left. Great service from friendly staff, food came out super quick and was incredible, outdoor patio had incredible view for breakfast.

Mixed review. This is the second time eating here and I won't be back. While the slices of coconut pie were huge, they were not flavorful. The coffee was stale and cups were chipped. Some of the food (e.g., burger and sandwich) looked huge; but I don't know how they tasted. The breakfast I had consisted of greasy pancakes and eggs. The main floor smelled badly- like sewer-ish. $12 for slice of pie.

Stopped in for breakfast, had the Benedict- hands down the best hollandaise I've ever had! Nice and lemony (just the way I like it!) with just a touch of cayenne! The hashbrowns definitely could have been crispier- very bland. The view from the deck is beautiful! The tables were a bit dirty and the condiments on the table were super sticky- could use a bit of a clean up. Got a slice of pie to go, unfortunately it was a total let down! Seems like the crust wasn't cooked all the way- rather than a crispy flakey crust it was gooey. The edge that was actually cooked was bland and flavorless anyways- what a disappointment and waste of $8. I'll for sure be back for a meal but I'll be passing on the pies...

This is a very popular spot in Chelan, so if you want to get in, try to get there early. You order at the front and take a number then find a seat. At least two of the employees we spoke to seemed to be overwhelmed with the amount of work/people, so I do recognize that while making my review. We received the blueberry milkshake first which was nice and holy WOW it was thick. I recommend eating with a spoon. My husband then received the chicken fried steak and the runner took the # from our table. We waited about 5 minutes before telling the runner that he took our # and asked about my food. He said "give me a minute". We waited about 5 more minutes before going to the front and asking about it. The person went to the back and found it off to the side. Once I got it to my table, it had cooled down (obviously due to the wait) and it was not tasty at all. I did not like the gravy, it almost had a sweet taste to it. Chicken fried steak was average. Luckily, my partner was kind enough to switch with me. Obviously, if you want to check this place out, nobody is going to stop you: the farm is a beautiful view. I'd recommend not getting the biscuits and gravy though. We also did got a GIANT cinnamon role that was $16. I dislike cinnamon roles in general so I cannot give an honest feedback. Hubby said it was good (even though they mentioned they messed it up and it was extra gooey), but he enjoyed it.

We come here every time we come to Chelan. They are only open for breakfast & lunch. Food is good. Love the inside decor. Has a country feel to it. Food portions are generous. Very friendly staff! Did I mention the pies? To die for! Take one home! We always do!

When is blueberry season this summer?

Blueberries are typically ripe for picking around July 1-ish through August, weather depending. Check our Facebook page for more specifics as we get closer to harvest. Thanks!

It's not even one of the items that they circle as their top sellers. This was so good. Thinly shaved beef on a really tasty bun and loaded with cheese. I'm not a fan of bell peppers, but these didn't overpower. Such good flavor! My wife had the burger, and it was outrageously good (I think it was the Bro). Get ready to back up your truck to the door when you finish b/c they load you up with so many fresh, hand-cut fries. Again, such good flavor, but this is where the heartburn really kicks in. They bring out a caddy of 6 different sauces to keep the Freedom fries company. The gal who served us wouldn't win any awards for hospitality, but she treated us well and we got out of there alive. We thought it was a win.

We did end up splitting a Cesar salad for food and it was completely average, don't remember it well. I guess that's a good thing since it was exactly what I expected. The wine tasting comes in a tower so you can drink at your own pace, which is great! This allowed us to drink at our own speeds and we were a little tired of hearing about wine after many other stops, so it was great to have an independent experience. It's lovely here! Perfect spot for sunset. We barely interacted with our server since we were the only outdoor table, but that was fine.

Which would be fine, except their outdoor seating is extremely dirty and due to the amount of trees around, covered in pollen. So it almost felt like second class or a punishment. I slapped the chair cushion and it was like it had never been dusted before. Not that I expect the outdoor seating to be clean at all times, I would expect a higher end place like this that features wine on their menu to make an effort to keep things tidy for all guests. The food itself, was actually pretty good. The deep fried artichoke seriously missed the mark in seasoning and presentation (maybe have the sauce on the side to dip?) but the steak and short ribs were amazingly tasty. Great flavors. We also did a wine flight and the wines were very good as well. One of the glasses still had lipstick on it unfortunately. A couple of the glasses looked rushed to clean. It was replaced and all was well. But still.. attention to details here seems to be an issue. If you come here, make a reservation. Sit inside. Might have a better experience. Get the short ribs or steak and some wine and it will be a lovely experience.

All the food was fresh, hot and delicious. The tomato bisque was exceptional! Terry, the cook, came out and said hello, asking me how I liked the meal. I let him know that I'm a trained chef, and his meal was fabulous! The waitress said he's worked there for 15 years, that his specialty is prime rib, served every Saturday. I will definitely be back for that. This bar has been here 85 years, and I moved here 30 years ago but had never been here till this evening. I'm guessing the food here is better than most of the restaurants in Wenatchee. The decor is plain and simple. The ambience is what you would expect in a local bar with a long history and a loyal local clientele. Nonetheless, the service was excellent and the staff was friendly. Even being charged a 4% credit card processing fee, food pricing is better than other restaurants. So are the quality and portion sizes. New tables and chairs with cushioned seating fill two dining rooms. And there is plenty of offstreet parking. All things considered, it's worth the 20 minute drive from Wenatchee down to Rock Island, just to enjoy the food and the drinks. I don't think anyone gets turned away here. What's not to like? This was a five star experience for me.
