No issues in finding the plane and the lady came right away to my auto to see what I had and gave me a quote. But it was pricey. I had a ceiling fan which was $15 and couple of light fixtures which were $6/pound. Light fixtures were 6 lbs, which came to $24. So my total was $39. read more

Great place to drop off your unwanted electronics FOR FREE. They take almost everything so just give a call to check. They were super nice and helped us move everything out of the car too! *I believe it's 3 pieces per household a day but if you just bring another person with an id that has a different address you can drop off 6 pieces in one trip :) read more

We had to move out of our office and had *years* of IT equipment to clear out. A co-worker recommended us Green Ewaste and we quickly got in touch with William. He was super responsive and provided us with lots of heavy duty boxes for us to place our used networking and computer stuff. When they were filled, his crew came to pick them up with new empty boxes. Finally when we had to clean out the server room, Green Ewaste came over and helped us pull out all the heavy ancient switches and servers! They even removed an old Harris PBX the size of a small golf cart without complaint. All kinds of PCs, printers, networking cables, switches and stuff, they took them all. Almost as easy and pointing a finger.... The whole time, William was on top of it and at the end he provided us with a disposal certificate. Very friendly staff and they take almost everything for free. I don't think I have every been charged for anything but if you have questions you can call and they are always extremely helpful! They told me I was the first customer at their new location! I've included some pictures to help you find them. They are located at 1664 Watson Court in Milpita's. Watson does not currently have a street sign. Once you turn on the street you just head down to the end of the court in in the driveway you'll see a little small sign with an arrow pointing to the left that says e-waste on it. The location is "hidden" inside a business complex, but not too challenging to find, and they have signs posted around the business complex to lead you to the right place. When you live in one place for over 10 years, you start to accumulate a lot of stuff... and quickly realize this needs to go to an e-waste place. Since we're moving, it's time for us to get rid of this stuff! Oddly enough, I found this place from a flyer I received from my doctor, (because I need to dispose syringes) and found this on the website at the bottom of the flyer. Bonus word here is FREE disposal! Sweet! Not the easiest place to find, (look at pictures so you know which parking lot to pull in) and then drive ALL THE WAY to the back. Last garage on the left. Potential Identity Theft Victim I went there today to drop off 2 TV's and the guy wanted to make a copy of my Drivers License. Im not recycling aluminum or copper just TV's, so there is no way im going to let him make a copy. I went to another e-waste recycler on Race Street and they only wanted my name, address and number; didn't need to see my identification. Next time I will just wait for my kids schools recycling fundraiser. read more

I got a 42" broken screen Tv and a small glass one sitting in my garage for 3 weeks. Finally I got time to get rid of them. I searched on line for a place that recycles broken tvs and opens on weekend, this place is open and they will accept them for free. The staff was friendly and he took the heavy TVs out from my car into the warehouse by himself. Also they accept old laptops, CDs, toners and printers, for free. I had an older Sony Trinitron 32" HD ready TV (tube type), which still worked perfectly, but at 255 lbs, was a bear to move around. Since we have updated our family TV to a flat screen there was no need for this set. Because of the weight, this unit is impossible to sell or give away. I found this company online and planned to deliver to TV to their site. It took my 2 boys and myself to move the TV out of the house and onto my pickup truck (1/2 hour). Once I went to their site, it took a matter of 30 seconds for them to place a pallet on their forklift and align it to the level of the truck bed with the hinged door down. It took 2 buys a few seconds to push the TV onto the pallet, and the donation to the recycling center was complete. These guys were fantastic and very pleasant and polite. I would recommend this business highly to anyone who has any electronics to dispose of. It was really easy, and no appointment is required if brought during their normal business hours (Monday - Saturday). read more

Finding the place is a bit of a trick since they are at the back of a series of buildings next to The Plant; however, by the time I popped the trunk, they had the items out quickly and I was back on the street in less than 5 minutes. I can't get over how easy this company made it to recycle e-waste. I was looking for someone to pickup. As of this post, they will come pick up with 5 or more qualified items otherwise there's generally a service fee. I would have been fine paying. Other companies that offer pick up would charge anyway. This company suggested talking with neighbors to combine items to waive the fee. I rounded up family and we easily accumulated a lot of stuff! Now all our houses are just a bit more uncluttered (yay!). All the staff I interacted with (email, phone, then pick up) were super nice and helpful. read more

The men flock to help any dame in need of assistance upon pulling into the parking area, even when they aren't asked to do so.
