Yes, the gentlemen who made a point of letting us know he was available to help us find something was friendly and soft-spoken. It's always a plus when staff make sure they acknowledge your presence with a nice greeting. Was it seeing the same exact cheese slicer that I just bought off Amazon last week? Well, a bit maddening but not really it. It was finding two cookbooks my wife and I haven't seen anywhere else. For my wife it was the kind she'd been looking for, a muffin cookbook, Do You Know The Muffin Pan? (what a great title) with a wide range of creative and original ideas spanning savory to sweet, from appetizers to dessert. For me it was finding a Mexican cookbook I didn't know I needed. Now, I've been a Danny Trejo fan a long time. Seen him in the movies and on TV. I knew he owned a popular Mexican restaurant in L.A. because he's guest judged on numerous TV cooking competition shows. But finding his cookbook, Trejo's Tacos, just gave me all the recipes I've always wanted but have never seen anywhere else--at least the way his restaurant prepares them. So, for the joyful experience of culinary discovery alone this store merits five stars. Everything was clogged to the sewer. Albert not only is a great guy, he is very logical and has an engineering mind. He did not give me an estimate that was pulled out of his rear end. The quartz looks…read moregreat, it was cut well to the shape of my kitchen, and the seam between 2 countertop pieces is practically invisible. The process from enquiring to ordering was very straightforward and easy to engage with. I was able to go and view the quartz prior to them cutting it to shape. The only road bump we hit was with installation. For the most part it was a good installation job, but it turned out that one of my cabinets was a bit higher than the others, which wasn't visible with the old counters. The installation team pointed out to me that they had to put an additional piece of wood under the counter in that location, but they didn't point out that it then made that counter higher than the others, and I didn't see that when they showed me. I only noticed the height difference after the installers left. My feedback is that I would have liked the installers to have been more explicit about this height difference before they glued the quartz down. I was relying on Integrity Stonework to be the experts for this installation, so trusted that they would point items like this out. After the installation, I had to pay an additional company to come in and remove the countertop to adjust the cabinet before gluing the quartz down again as Integrity Stonework did not offer to come and fix it, despite my request to them to make good on this. To be fair, the installation team did point out a different issue with countertop leveling in a different part of the kitchen prior to gluing items down. I think the height differential was just an unfortunate hiccup as part of this journey, so be thorough and ask to check the countertops prior to anything being glued down!

We had a sort of non-standard window shelf that we weren't sure how it would turn out, but they gave us a few options (with drawings, measurements, and schematics so we could see in detail) for the raised bay window. Lux Design Builds did a remodel on our upstairs hall bathroom. The project was completed in a…read moretimely fashion (in 6 days) including demolition. The remodel replaced the floor with vinyl tile, replaced the tub surround tiles with vinyl sheets and replaced the vanity, counter mirror, tub, lights and all fixtures. The finished bathroom looks great with no issues. The fixtures, vanity and surfaces chosen by the Lux design crew look great. The installer did a great job, was very courteous and did the job with minimal disruption.

We loved the merchandise in Conservatory Coastal Home very much and really enjoyed the beachy themes that this store had to offer! I particularly enjoyed the large blue glass balls,their small ornamental air plants in glass balls, the chandelier and lamps! The staff here were extremely friendly and very helpful with whatever questions we had. Steve and I have been wanting to do a beach themed room for a very, very long time and were trying to get ideas as to how and what kind of decor we wanted to make that happen. For the longest time we just had bits and pieces for ideas at various stores but at Conservatory Coastal Home we had a good idea about a lot of the things we had in mind for such a room come all together to give us a fresh perspective as to how to go about creating our beach themed room.
