Part ONE PEDI 4 stars of A 2-part review: I chose the green tea pedicure by appointment: salon is seemingly clean, my technician used wrapped sanitized tools. The pedicure was thorough and the massage enjoyable. Polish was applied perfectly and lasted so far 2 weeks. I can recommend pedicure with the woman but I don't remember her name. She definitely was the eldest and perhaps has the most experience! Part TWO Gel Nail fill: I happened to get placed with the man (The owner!) I must admit He's fast! However, after my second nail fill appointment, HE IS AWFUL! He has (both visits 2 weeks apart) a NASTY attitude He is UNFRIENDLY UNKIND RUDE RUSHES his work AND HURT my fingers!! The salon follows up each clients nails with a brief but effective shoulders massage. EXCEPT FOR HIM!! He doesn't finish the way the 3 woman do! He should not be servicing clients! Period! I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM! Try one of the women there! I give ZERO stars for that miserable man! read more

Went for the first time. They could not do what I wanted. They insisted on the dip powder with color in it whereas I wanted the dip and a color over the dip powder. They insisted they could do what I wanted. 8 hours later 2 chipped. Went back and had them fixed only for a day later 3 more to be chipped. I will not be going back. read more

There are several nail salons to choose from in the area. I looked up reviews on all of them. I haven't gone to any of the salons in the area and wanted to treat myself to a pedicure. I debated back and forth and then finally made an appointment. Love the atmosphere, very clean, all very nice and I wish I knew the name of the girl I had, but she did an amazing job. First visit, now will definitely be a repeat customer. Highly recommend. read more

They give good gel manicures but I just got acrylics two days ago and my thumb nail chipped and while washing my hair another nail popped completely off. I also got a pedicure and of my toes chipped. And they couldn't do a simple ombré so instead I got a color. read more

I really don't like to give negative reviews but today really bothered me. I have been going here about 5 years. I admit I am a summer pedicure customer, not a regular manicure customer but I always get a spa pedicure because I like it. I always make an appointment. In the years I have been going I have seen them be nice to customers and occasionally not so nice but I chalk it up to everyone having a bad day. Today I experienced the most bizarre incident and frankly it pissed me off. When I was there 4 weeks ago to get a pedicure, I made an appointment for the next one. I was given a time of 10am. I had believed it was when they opened but honestly didn't check their hours. I arrived today just about 10 and was told my appointment was for 9am and they could only squeeze me in to do a regular pedicure. I was taken aback because I put the appointment in my iPhone as I stood there making it. I wish I had asked for am appointment card but I can't turn back time. I said I had believe that they opened at 10 when one of the females said no they open at 9:30 on Saturday. Not wanting to make a fuss and upset everyone enjoying a relaxing mani/pedi, I declined the service and left. Now, if you think you read the times wrong, you did not. How can I have a 9am appointment when they do not open until 9:30!?! I can only speculate that perhaps I was bumped for a more regular customer but again I have no proof. There are plenty of places to get a pedicure and I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

One of my favorite nail salons in the area. Clean and relaxing. The best pedicure around. The only downside for me is that they don't usually take walk-ins. My schedule is very unpredictable, being self employed so usually walk-in or short notice appointment is what I need. read more

Wouldn't go anywhere else. I had been going someplace in Bergen County for a few years and decided to try Green Forest. I was blown away by the great job they did. Everyone is nice and attentive. I broke a nail and went in and they fixed it for free. The color of my gels has a weird reaction and changed color and I went in and they redid my nails for free. They didn't want it but I insisted they take a tip. Always impressed Mani/Pedi...Green Forest it is! read more

What a wonderful experience I had today at this lovely nail salon. The staff was professional and friendly. The salon was very clean and inviting with its soft color scheme and relaxing music. Wife was running late for her appointment due to traffic. So she made a courtesy call to let them know she was going to be about 15 minutes late. Instead of "thanks for letting us know" or "we can squeeze you in at ...." she was told "then don't bother coming". Really rude. Never going back. read more

This is the best nail place in the area. Very relaxing spa pedicure. Definitely upgrade to the green tea or one of the others. They do a long foot and leg massage. The atmosphere is nice. They end with a custom blended lotion - eucalyptus is my favorite. You definitely need an appointment. They are very busy. We've been disappointed more than once by calling at the last minute. read more

I have been coming here for some time now. I am usually pleased with the ability to make an appointment. They take their time and you receive your service and are not rushed. It is clean and I feel they go the extra mile for your pedicure. You can go basic or go up to a Spa pedicure. It is a little more money but you are able to relax and feel pampered. I would advise calling for an appointment so you can get who you like. They are usually booked so walk ins are difficult. They also give you 5 dollars off for either so much spent or got how many visits. I have had manicures on and off and eyebrow waxing. All positive!! read more

I was looking for a new nail salon because I was not happy with my current salon. I read the reviews and everyone mentioned how wonderful the pedicures were with no mention of fills. I was hesitant to try but gave it a shot. I was booked with Kelly and she was not friendly or gentle but she did a good job. The price was 15$ more then I am used to paying so I am going to keep on looking. read more

My sister got a gift certificate from our sister in law for last Christmas for $40.00 for the Green Forest Nils & Spa in Hewitt, NJ. With my sister's busy schedule: taking care of my mom and her mother in law, she completely forgot about the certificate. She went to the Green Forest Nails & Spa to see if they would accept the certificate. After over a half an hour of speaking with nail person and owner, explaining the situation to them, they would not let her use the certificate. They said they give the money to charity. How do we know they give the money to charity. our sister in law, who frequents this place, Green Forest Nails & Spa, went there to get her nails done and said they treated her so bad, she will never go back again. After they turned my sister down, she went to her regular nail place. The owner there said they always hone expired certificates. in fact, they honored one from 2014. I will never recommend this place to anyone, nor will my sister or sister in law. If I could give a zero star review, I would. read more
