I brought my car in and they made up all kinds of crazy issues with it that are not true. basically said the engine, transmission, AC, radiator, belts and everything is bad. they don't even know how to check oil. said the oil is low and I checked. Very prompt!! I had to come in for a battery replacement after my car needed to be jumpstarted, and they were so very very kind and immediately replaced the battery (the whole appointment was less than 30 minutes). Pricing for the battery change was very reasonable. I overheard them discussing auto parts and car mechanics with another client, and they seemed very knowledgeable and willing to give advice - clearly have lots of experience. We really love supporting local businesses rather than chains, and these guys at Green Garage make it easy. We have used a chain for oil changes before and ALWAYS "needed" something! These guys don't try to upsell, even when it would be easy to do so. We haven't needed them for repairs on personal vehicles, only maintenance, but I trust them so much that we take work vehicles to them for maintenance, repairs, tires, everything! ....and that is exactly why I use Green Garage! Thought I needed a new battery and that's what AAA told me when they jumped my car. Instead of just getting a new one in Hoover, where my jumped car was, I called Green instead who got me in right away. My battery was not the issue, just a connection to it. Could've easily put in a new one and charged me. Not only did they not but they didn't charge me for the diagnotics or the work to fix the connection. I went here for an oil change. They also found something wrong with the cap to my fuel tank. It explained the strange error message I kept getting in my Prius. They explained that I didn't really have to replace the cap, but that the error message would keep popping up until I did. All this to say that, even though it was a conversation about a cheap cap, I appreciated them making me not feel pressured into buying something that I didn't really need. In the end, I got the cap, and the error message got to go back into hiding. I will return for future oil changes, and I'll book them earlier this time because they book up fast! read more

They did a great job, and Chris even gave me some pointers on how to maximize my gas mileage. I hadn't really read the manual and the simple push of a button gave me about 3 extra mpg's!
