They installed multiple French drains within a few days and so far so good re improved drainage! Next fall and winter will be the real test but so far so good. We also had them do our landscape trimming/pruning, and appreciated the suggestions to do certain trimming in the fall. Then we had them replace multiple wooden gates. DLM provided bids in each case that were very reasonable and significantly less than others. We are very happy with the services provided by DLM and will use them in the future.

Each time I contact Bill, he has a perfect excuse. This is the 5th house we owned in Seattle and I have hired a number of contractors for many garden projects, large and small, but this is by far the most frustrating contractor experience I have had. I also ended up with far less than what I hoped for. After I pulled an emergency brake at 50k including a commission for Bill to manage the overall project, I have no plants, trees, or irrigation. They may be ok if you are looking for gardening advice but I would not recommend unless you do not care about budget or deadlines, and have unlimited patience.

Temo came out to walk the property and provided a very fair price quote. We ended up putting this project off while waiting for some warmer/drier weather to avoid wrecking the lawn. I finally reached back out, he came for another onsite visit where we added one more small tree and the removal of some bushes. The team at Just For Trees showed up at 9am on the day and got right to work. They were very mindful of removing staked lights, landscape features, and potted plants before beginning their work and the respect for our property was maintained throughout the project. All 3 trees and bushes were removed exactly as requested, and we kept logs from the maple to use as firewood in the future. The team took great care to rake/blow and cleanup the yard/driveway and worked very efficiently/safely throughout the process. I called and left a message and sent a couple emails and received nothing back. I was ghosted. Unprofessional response if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, they seemed knowledgeable and could perform everything I had on my mind in terms of landscaping but in terms of their lack of professionally declining their service I was not impressed. Upon speaking to some of my neighbors, they also were ghosted after receiving a quote. Very unprofessional. A good company should "thank you for your time" or at least acknowledge your decision or at the very least tell you they aren't able to provide the service you desire instead of leaving you in the dark.
