Let me start off by saying it takes a lot for me to poorly rate a place. Went through the whole "free estimate" process and everything seemed fine and professional but when I received the quote and chose what I wanted to have done, I never received a response back. I called and left a message and sent a couple emails and received nothing back. I was ghosted. Unprofessional response if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, they seemed knowledgeable and could perform everything I had on my mind in terms of landscaping but in terms of their lack of professionally declining their service I was not impressed. Upon speaking to some of my neighbors, they also were ghosted after receiving a quote. Very unprofessional. A good company should "thank you for your time" or at least acknowledge your decision or at the very least tell you they aren't able to provide the service you desire instead of leaving you in the dark. read more

To get to the most important point first, we are very happy with Ediscapes, will hire them for any future landscaping projects, and have already recommended them to friends. They're terrific. We had an extensive landscaping project ahead of us and a deadline for hosting a wedding. From our first meeting with Renewal, where we went over his proposal and discussed our vision for the property, we could tell that the Ediscapes team would listen to us and ensure that our vision became reality. All of this turned out to be true and they finished the project well ahead of our wedding schedule. Here are just a few examples of their attention to detail: - Knowing that the wedding would be held in the back yard, they concentrated their attention on that side of the house, removing the old sod, laying the irrigation, bringing in new topsoil in preparation for hydroseeding the lawn. They ensured that the hydroseeding was completed in sufficient time to allow the grass to fully grow prior to the wedding date. Mission accomplished. - We planned to replace an old cinderblock wall with a new wall and steps, using manmade materials. None of them suited our tastes, so we asked about natural stone. Renewal spent part of his day with us to select stones and understand our preferences for color and material. The resulting rockery and stairs are very much to our liking. - They took great care to install a first-rate irrigation system. The controller is connected to the internet and can be managed by an application on my phone. Very thoughtfully, they ensured that all of the sprinkler heads that lie next to the driveway had protection around them, When the inevitable happens, i.e., a car runs over a head, the protection around the head will prevent damage to it. - The team took care to shape our new garden beds and suggest the use of stone to a degree our plans hadn't. Those suggestions made the finished product all the more pleasing to the eye. - DC and his crew are first-rate. They showed up every day, on time, and worked hard all day. They were all very friendly, mindful of our privacy, and very diligent in cleaning up after themselves. I've attached pictures so you can see for yourself. We have a steep sloped back yard which we have been contemplating landscape for 29 years. We have interviewed 3 landscape designers and never felt they were listening to our vision. I contacted Ediscapes back at the beginning of 2018 as we had just moved into a townhome in West Seattle and was wanting some turf put down in our fenced-in back yard, which is roughly 100 sq ft, for our two Boston Terriers to use. I made an appointment and D.C. came out and was super nice. He explained to us what we needed and showed us all of our options. We made our appointment for March 2 and he and his team came out and did the job and it looked absolutely beautiful and our dogs loved it!! He did a GREAT job. He explained to us that we would periodically need to have some deoderizer put down and to just give him a call when we were ready. On May 7, I emailed him asking what the process would be to get the deodorizer put down and the costs. We went back and forth and finally on May 17, he was able to communicate with me on pricing and such. I emailed him several more times before I finally heard from him on May 30. He explained to me that he is super busy, which I understand, and that he would try to get out to see us hopefully by AUGUST and that ours was such a "small job" that he was just waiting on a slow day so he could make it out. Well, It's now almost October and I haven't heard from him. WE ended up buying the spray and pellets and did it ourselves. It was a little off-putting that he considered us a small job and not of much importance. It may be a small job to him but it cost me $2600 and thats not "small" to me. The problem I have is being told basically that we are of no importance to him. You should make EVERY customer feel like they are a priority and this is where he failed. We had Ediscapes install a sprinkler system for our 14k sq ft lot. They stayed right on budget with their original estimate and did a great job installing the system. They're a busy team and DC still found time to come back out to the house for small maintenance needs. For example, my wife ran over an exterior sprinkler head with our lawn mower and he made time in their busy schedule to come out and fix it... obviously something he didn't need to do. We had a team come over to clean up our front and back yard. We have a pretty sizable yard and they did a fantastic job in making the space livable again. They stayed right on budget, completed the job ahead of time, and helped remove one of the biggest bee hives I've seen in a humane and gentle manner. I was very glad that they did not kill the bees while removing the hive. They were nature loving, well informed, and knowledgeable about local plants and trees. Definitely not the cheapest bid we got, but I'm glad we went with them. read more

Ediscapes are hands down the best contractors I've dealt with in Seattle. We've used a minimum of 15 different contractors over the last five years on our South Seattle Home situated on a quarter acer; more when counting our rental in Ballard and the work that we’ve had done there. Decision and Renewal went way above and beyond. They made sure we were on the same page. They made sure we were on budget. They made sure that our expectations for a timeframe matched. We had our first child on the way. Then they came in under budget, in less than the time expected to finish and didn't charge us for several improvements that they had the opportunity to make without costing them additional time or resources. They simply made value added suggestions that made a big difference. Ediscapes felt more like project partners far more than folks we hired. Both times we hired them they earned our trust, respect, kept a close eye on the details, cleaned up the worksite each day, and exceeded our expectations every day. Regardless of the outdoor project, we're contacting them first in the future. The initial project they finished for us, which their work amounted to approximately 13k of 20k, was initially appraised to raise our property value by a minimum of 50k-75k.
