First, the design questionnaire was excellent - especially for someone like me who doesn't know much about interior design. It was able to identify my design preferences by showing different living rooms and asking which ones were to my liking. In addition, its questions served as a great preparation for the home visit, so Stephanie came well prepared for our meeting. Stephanie was very creative, professional, and helpful throughout the process. When she visited my place, we decided on a design together, in an efficient process, where she was able to translate my needs and preferences to interior design decisions and furniture choices. After two weeks, she assembled a furniture shopping list, within the budget I requested. I purchased all items she suggested. The furniture items were sourced from many furniture stores and I felt she did an excellent job finding items that were beautiful, fit the overall design, and reasonably priced. I get nothing but compliments about my place (even from my Architect friend who is quite stingy with design related complements...). Well done Stephanie! As to the cost-effectiveness of the service - had I done this process myself (even with friends help), I would have surely spent more time, more money, getting worse results. The receptionist was courteous, and I vaguely remember her connecting me to Daniella who came to the front area when she called her. Before that I wandered through that showroom admiring the display of fine and interesting furniture and the overall ambiance. I was totally taken in. Daniella arrived smiling graciously and very matter-of-factly welcomed me into the fabric area. OMG! The array of samples, the tones, colors, variety and quantity. I am still surprised and proud that I walked out there with a decision. The end product rocks! Let me tell you why. Daniella is an expert at what she does. LISTENING to what I described as my need and interest. That is the skill of a professional. It must be understood that I was in fabric heaven and had to choose my robe, one prettier than the other. All I can say is Daniella had her head on in spite of my euphoria. I can go on but suffice it to say It was a moment at the fabric beach. The process of ordering/supplier contact was handled by my trusty designer. My take home orders were to take the materials with my cushions and pillows when they arrive to my upholsterer. Daniella's art of cording by size and effect also helped make the final project what was beyond my expectation. My home is a sweeter more beautiful living space than before. In April of this year (2023), I purchased a table from White House in Wayne New Jersey. It was…read moredelivered in June and there were no issues with the delivery and everything was fine. Shortly after getting the table, I placed a couple of plastic bottles on it. Later, I noticed scratches where I had placed the bottles (see attached photo). I thought the scratches might just be marks on the surface and tried to rub them out. I used a plastic scrubber and only made matters worse. I contacted the sales rep at White House Furniture and their response was basically, "oh, well." They would do nothing to help me repair the damage aside from giving me the name of a refinisher. This is a DINING ROOM TABLE but now I am now afraid to put anything on it because it scratches so easily. This table, plus delivery cost me almost $2,000 and I am stuck with a table that needs to be covered to be used. I might as well have gone to a Bob's furniture store and purchased a cheap one if it is going to be covered all the time. I like working with the smaller vendors but will not support vendors who do not stand behind their products. Avoid these people.
