I WANT to support local, in these days of everyone buying toys from Target and Amazon. I want to support small businesses in my community so they are there for years to come. Biggest issue in both locations is customer service. I have mostly had interactions with a blonde woman. I say this again to be constructive, this person does not smile, is not great at interacting with kids. I have had experiences where my kids knock something over because yah know...they are kids and this person seems so stiff and uncomfortable with kids. Generally the vibe isn't friendly. This is a children's store. No getting to know the customer, smiling, thanking them, or a "have a nice day". Selection of clothing has little price variety. It's all super high end. I understand margins for selling kids clothing must be tough but items are averaging $30-$40 I guess if you are buying a gift ... but as a parent it would be nice if they had some variety. Toy selection at both locations is great! They have variety and some really cool stuff. If I have a birthday party I like to take my kids to get something there. Outside, there was a mild scent of garage and sewer. Once we got in, there was no sales associate to greet and hand us the Kohl's cash. I had to find a sales associate who later told me since they have limited staffing - you get your Kohl's cash at checkout only. I asked if we can get it prior to checkout to see if we won big jokingly, and she said no. So, no way to know how much you'll get off until you're rung up. This was later incorrect, as I was checking out - a kinder associate gave a Kohl's cash handout to another customer. I understand that low staffing can be tough, but I wish there was a more centralized protocol in place. Also, there are self checkout options now, which couldn't be utilized for the Kohl's cash giveaway - amounting to longer waits at checkout. Clothes and stuff were fine - original prices are a bit steep for the quality; likely since they mark up with the intention to put things on sale to try and attract customers. Overall, I recommend improvements with management.

The staff are usually pleasant. The check out line can be long, but they often have several cashiers on at once and will call people off the floor to help if the line gets too long. There are plenty of items along the line to keep you shopping while you wait your turn. Plenty of parking is available in the shared lot. Easy in/out with a light at the entrance.

Top pillows are reversible, giving me two looks in one. Truth be told, it is expensive to reupholster. You've got the cost of fabric plus the labour. With this said, I have never regretted spending a single penny. Open seven days a week = convenient! Now, let's all make a pact to clean out the garage so we can upcycle and make space for the car.
