**BEWARE** On 8/23/24, I brought 9 items in to be consigned. Some with designer labels (Hilfiger, DKNY,Kenneth Cole, Michael Kors, Philosophy, etc). At the advice of the ee, I took a photo of the 9 items that were accepted to be sold with a pick up date/expiration date of 10/23/24. I checked in a couple of weeks before 10/23/24 and was told that three items sold. I went in and was paid $34.00 in cash. I called a day or two before the end date and the ee told me that I should have been paid $38.77 more than what I had been paid and that more items had sold and I had more money coming to me. I have receipts, pics and a record of phone calls. HOWEVER, when I returned on the end date of the agreement to pick up the items that did not sell, the majority of items (FOUR of them) were nowhere to be found ! The owner, quite unpleasantly, told me that there was a new computer system and then she told that when you drop things off "be ready to break up with them." So I dropped off 9 items and got underpaid paid for 3, retrieved 2 and a total 4 of my items disappeared ??!! NEVER again will I shop or consign with that woman. **BEWARE**. read more

Sketchy: Brought in 2 J Crew new with tags dresses among many other items. One dress she claimed was lost but on the printout her salesperson (non owner) provided showed it showed it had been listed on E bay. I was never paid for this item. The second new dress she claims that 1 day before the consignment ended, she marked it down 75% and paid me almost nothing on a $200 new dress. Then she offered to further reduce what she owed me by offering cash rather than a business check. Sketchy, You drop off all your clothes and at the end of the term of consignment, she wants you to search thru thousands of consigned items and pick up your unsold items. Sketchy. The reality is she makes it as difficult as possible to reclaim unsold items. Will never visit again. read more

They have men, womens & maternity selections Shoes....oh the shoes!!! TONS of jewelry Racks upon racks of quality used clothing! Purses & pocketbooks, books, a few nick knacks too! When ever the seasons change & my boss decides that no one at my job is wearing the "right" color pants, this is where I go to fulfill my wardrobe. I do have to say that some of the things you will find in this store are lets just say "totally 80s" and if you need to go to an ugly sweater party or something, stop in! This is quite the hidden treasure for a consignment store, very clean and super organized. Makes shopping so much easier. It is on Charles Street behind the Belmont Market in Wakefield. Some truly terrific finds and at an awesome prices. I found many of the items still had tags! Will definitely be returning to this hidden gem. read more

Love this shop. I was in a hurry and the friendly staff helped me put together an outfit and jewelry for a special occasion. They made great suggestions without trying to "sell" me on anything I didn't need. I felt like I had a personal shopper working with me. The selection there is terrific and you cannot beat the prices. The store is spacious and well organized. In the future, I will go there first for the clothes and the expertise. read more

What a great feeling it was to walk into an awesome consignment shop like this, see a wide array of quality and adorable women's clothing, handbags and shoes, and men's items, AND to be met SO warmly by the owner. Consignments shops can sometimes let off a stuffy air, or make you feel unwelcome- not this place! I had fun digging through the racks and trying stuff on. The prices were extremely fair and there was so much to look through! It was clean, organized and friendly. There was also a $5 jewelry sale and a large $5 sale rack. I have been buying clothes and shoes at Perennials since it opened in the 1990s. I visited recently and noticed that the store has had a transformation in the layout, improved quality of clothing etc.- more up to date and more interesting and the prices are actually lower. Turns out there is a new owner. It is worth visiting again and I bet you may find just what you are looking for. read more

I brought about 30 items to Perennials for consignment, most of it was new with tags. The agreement states that at the end of 60 days they own anything you don't go and pick up, which you have to walk around the store and find all your own items to reclaim. Funny thing is that only 2 items sold. When I went in on the last day to claim my unsold items, I noticed on the racks that all my items were in groups together on the racks like no one had even looked thru the clothes, all the other tags were scattered throughout the rack, except mine which were all sitting clumped together. I started looking at the dates on the other clothes and noticed that nothing was out on the racks that was dated within in the previous 60 days, meaning that everything on the rack was now owned by the shop. Now had I went in one day later, they would of owned all of my 30 items and got the full profit when sold. Keep in mind all but 2 or 3 of my pieces were new with tags!! But had not sold in 59 days. I have never dealt with a consighnment shop that has operated this way. The clothing is grouped by color and you are assigned a specific color tag, all the other tags were mixed up within the color group except for mine, which were all sitting together, even the hangers were tight together showing they had never been separated and looked through. So use your own judgement when shopping there, but keep in mind that all the money from your purchase will go completely to the store if the tag on the item is dated more than 60 days from the time it was supposedly put out for purchase and that someone was mislead into beleiveing that they would make a few dollars off some of thier clothing. I myself would never consider this again and will be donating my clothing to a needy cause not someones personal profit. read more
