The store is jam packed with tons of cool things. The record shop next door is insanely great as well. Please give this store a try! It's absolutely the most unique store I've been to in Newport Rhode, Rhode Island. From Nantucket Sound, I called MC on my cell phone and Denise was on my case immediately. I discussed what I needed and she looked through their inventory as I stood by. She gave me a description of every candidate. To confirm that we had the right part, she provided me with her personal cell phone number so I could text pictures of my broken piece. The next day, Sam, one of the co-owners confirmed that they had the right part. MC overnighted the part to a friendly business on Nantucket (Tidal Creek). I had the part on my boat the following day. Well done, MC. Outstanding effort from MC. Otherwise, their consigned merchandise is orderly and logically placed in the store. Good people for the boater to know.

We were really interested in finding a small sailboat to toy around with on Narragansett Bay and scoured Craigslist for days, but everything seemed super sketchy. With a little bit of Marine Consignment luck, we found ourselves a super sweet 420 to come home with. Over the summer we kept stopping back and found other fun goodies to entertain us... used lines and tubes for towing, wakeboards, a couple small skiffs to go fishing on Narrow River, and a small electric motor (to avoid rowing on those super awesome skiffs we found earlier). Not only did they have awesome stuff for newbie sailboater/bored youths... but tons and tons of boat chairs, parts, gadgets, navigation equipment, boat ovens.... I MEAN tons of boater stuff to suit every boat lovers needs.

Always pleased with my purchases. It can be a bit tricky to to find a spot to load up purchases. I think they may have delivery/pickup. I do like that they provide job opportunities and skills to their workers so it is worth a browse every now and then to see what they have in stock. The store is generally organized and they are doing the best they can with the space they are given. Everyone is always nice when I go and have come home with some great finds.
