They had a great variety of products - from fresh fruits and vegetables to artisan bread, honey, hummus, spices, and more. We picked up a fresh loaf of pesto and mozzarella sourdough (totally worth the wait since there was a line), and it was absolutely delicious. We also tried the butter mochi and banana bread mochi, which were both incredibly soft, chewy, and flavorful. Lastly, we grabbed some mango butter and furikake chips. The chips were crispy and not too salty, and the mango butter paired perfectly with the fresh sourdough. We'll definitely be back to see what other goodies we can find!

The trees and park amenities near and along the sidewalk lined by vendor tents make this farmers market very cozy and visually enhance the experience. There was a musician set up nearby providing live music. I think it is worth visiting this farmers market throughout the year as some of the produce offered is limited seasonal.

The booths we did see were a dessert booth which had tiramisu samples and more. They also had pies and breads but I was too stuffed at the time to want desserts, so maybe next time I'll buy one. There was one selling honey and popcorn, samples galore! The honey was delicious. Chips and salsa were out as well but of course you mostly come for the produce. They had apples, grapes, oranges, lemons, avocados, carrots, zucchini, onions, cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, garlic, string beans and so much more I can't even remember it all. The apples were AMAZING! The cherry tomatoes were so good too and I don't generally eat them alone. Everything we got was excellent and full of so much flavor. Everything beat what the grocery stores deliver any day.

I took my walker because I figured it would be a hike. 2.5 miles later I have peaches! I might say that my walker worked out well despite going through the orchard. It was hard to find ripe ones because they were picked over. Hundreds of people must trek through every week. The peaches are better than the store bought ones. We used to have a peach tree at home before the wind destroyed it. Now, those were the sweetest peaches ever. The ones we got at the orchard were okay. They were fresh. They were also selling popsicles and donuts. I bought my husband half a dozen of the strawberry donuts. The produce stand was a bust. I wanted to get a tomato or two but none and I didn't have another hike in me. It's wonderful this place is in Las Vegas. Very well maintained.

Spelt is a low fodmap grain. Isabella worked on her recipe to ensure that the spelt loaf would meet her standards. It now only met hers, but my also my husbands. We loved it!!! Although the loaf feels heavy and dense, it is soft with a good chew on it as a sourdough should be. Try it for yourself.

Cluck It Farm is a great local source of produce in the valley. I recently signed up for their 1/2…read moreproduce share CSA spring program and am loving it. The produce is fresh, tasty, colorful, and wholesome. Clearly quite the step up from what you get at the grocery store. You can get eggs too. On Monday afternoon, the website opens for orders for 24 hours and then you can either pick up your order or have it delivered for a nominal fee which is super convenient. If you miss the order window, it's ok as they will make choices for you. They ask that you enroll for the entire 12-16 week program so that they can plan accordingly for the season. There is a cancellation fee which is completely appropriate and fair. They accept credit card and SNAP through their website. If you need to hold on an order, they will allow for it a handful of times per season with adequate heads up (by Saturday) which is nice. If you're looking for a variety of fresh produce to be provided to you and your family on a weekly basis at a reasonable price, I'd strongly recommend that you consider Cluck It Farm's CSA program.
