We keep coming here because it's convenient to our home, has pleasant employees, good sound and VERY comfortable reclining seats. In the past year we have not encountered any problems (seating, noise, unruly patrons). We have made memories after seeing movies on the BIG screen in a comfortable location. Can't comment on the food as we haven't had any concessions since we've had to cut out popcorn & soda from our diet due to health problems. We eat before we come, or after. Popcorn DOES smell delicious and the soda dispenser is convenient. read more

I watched 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple at this location for the first time. It was in a one of their smaller theaters, but tge lounge chairs were extra comfy and it was clean. Didn't interact much with staff, so I can't really rate on that. I'd go back. read more

I'm 18, didn't have an id and have been to movies before where there have just asked for a photo of it and let me in. I was going to see the movie obsession with my friends, and my one friend actually had her id on her to show she was 18. They did not accept it and said we ALL had to have our id because this was an "R" rated movie. Just take the damn photo??? This has never happened at a theatre before. This isn't a club or an alcohol store so i don't see why the physical id is necessary. On top of that, I couldn't even get a refund on my tickets because the lady had already scanned them. read more

This theater is a bit far from me. But when it is compared to the AMC I normally go to, I do have to say it looks brighter and feels cleaner. I don't see popcorn all over the floor here. This theater is also in the middle of a shopping plaza filled with restaurants so if you're wanting to do dinner/lunch and a movie, it's a good choice. Inside, they have a ticket booth/customer service. There is a concession stand right in the front after you get in so it makesordering some snacks easy. There is also a bar so if you're looking for something a little stronger than caffeine, you're covered. Cost is average for a theater nowadays and can get expensive quick. There is a pretty good mix of food options here too so if you didn't eat before coming, you'll be all set. The theaters themselves are clean and comfortable. They do keep them cold so keep that in mind. Overall, if I lived closer to this theater I'd come more often. If you're in the Oldsmar area and are wanting to catch a flick, dfefinitely check AMC Woodlands out! read more

This AMC has been our go to movie theater. They have reclining seats with lots of space. It is clean and the people are friendly. I usually get the Closed Caption device so I can listen and read to follow along better. We have been bringing our Southeastern Guide Dog who is in training with us and she's been enjoying the space for her afternoon naps. I use the mobile app and website to buy tickets and pick seats. It is easy to use and very convenient. Friends had to cancel so I was able to update our ticket selection on line which was great. We go to the movies at least once a month if not twice and have really enjoyed this location. We just watched The Beekeeper and Aquaman 2. I hope to get to see Wonka before it leaves. read more

Three stars even though it may have been my fault that we were in a theater without reclining seats. First world problems, but I thought all theaters had reclining seats now. Even my five year old son asked where's the button to bring up my feet? It's possible (probable?) that the seating chart page said these were standard seats, but I didn't notice and was sad when we got there. The seats were very plushy though. I also expected a bigger screen size. It looked massive on the seating chart page, but smaller in person. Other than that, this theater is good. I went one time earlier and was freezing. I forgot a jacket and blanket and was worried when I saw everyone entering had a jacket or blanket. However, I ended up being fine. I'd still bring a jacket or blanket just in case in the future. The popcorn line was pretty short. They only have a medium or large sized popcorn though, which even the medium is a lot for my son and I to eat. A small would have been perfect. They also have ICEEs, which my son loves. Again, no small size, but in this case he drank the size they had. It's a huge parking lot since there's a lot of other shopping in this area. You may have to park somewhat far from the theater, but there will definitely be parking. read more

Went to the movie theater around 10 o'clock at night lots of people there went inside. Staff was very nice. Easy to go through and get tickets went to the concession stand to get snacks. Waited in line for 2 to 3 minutes. Max got my popcorn and drink the popcorn it was pretty good and the drinks were good as well. Didn't pay much because I had a coupon for the popcorn, which made it free because of T-Mobile great time at this AMC definitely recommend if you're choosing a movie theater to go to read more

Queen Bee wanted to see "A Man Called Otto," and since Countryside 12 still isn't showing it, although most every other one in creation IS! That even includes its sister CMX brand theaters in the Tampa area too. Among the first ones in after the doors unlocked at 1130, we were greeted by no one or nothing other than a vague gesture by a uniformed youth toward the ticket kiosks. You CAN buy a ticket in cash, but you have to insist on so doing. Upon handing the ticket stub to the usher, the concessions are directly in front of you. Neither of us wanted overpriced candy, popcorn or soda, so all I can say is that the concessions looked old, worn out and generally uninviting on appearance. There are, interestingly enough, twenty theaters in this twenty theater theater. The first ten to the left and the rest off to the right. Supposedly there is a bar that way too, if you believe the sign. Decor is kind of worn and bland; I'm not impressed by it. Just a long hallway with bunches of doors on either side. Once I FINALLY found a restroom, I availed myself of its uh: services. When I went to wash my hands, there were two sinks. First one had no soap in the no touch dispenser, and the second one: dispenser didn't even work. Once in the theatre itself, there was a steep staircase rising up to the various rows of seating. Ten rows of seats altogether and we are in J, the top row. Getting up there was the most exercise I've had outside of work since my trip to Greece. Somewhat comfy red leather recliners with cup holders on the armrests Esther than CMX with the swiveling trays. These don't recline as far back as those at CMX but still not bad. Sound quality was quite good; top of the line Dolby system in this joint. Some screenings offer open caption; as we aren't deaf, we didn't use it and captions would be a distraction. Overall, I'm not as fond of this place as I am of CMX Countryside. I'm not much of a fan of AMC either, to be quite honest. All in all, this is just another theater. Wee! Finally had an opportunity to visit this theatre again and I'm happy to update my review! I wanted to see the Duran Duran documentary, A Hollywood High, and this theatre had a screening with Dolby Cinema (at $3 extra per ticket, I assumed that experience was elevated). I also pre-ordered popcorn & beverages delivered to our seats, which was super cool. (Obviously I don't go to the movies often!) Although I wish the sound was louder, this was a great theatre & I'm glad my previous visit was a fluke. read more

Seats are all jacked up! Not only are there holes in the arm rests but the seat doesn't recline 1/2 way. If you recline 1/2 way the chair creeks and sputters to full recline position. Theater 8 chair F6 just in case AMC is actually interested. Tried to move but nothing was available for all in my party.... You can tell AMC doesn't really care. I reviewed most of the reviews here and there is not one response from anyone in reference to the valid complaints. I say valid because there are just some without merit which are probably just because people had a bad day. lol! read more

This is Ben's home away from home on most Tuesdays. If is a movie fanatic so goes on Tuesdays to see something new and sometimes I am invited for Movie Date Night. I personally like movies in Dolby so when I go we are always in #10. The layout of the theater is easy because it is on the smaller size so if you have to leave for any reason it doesn't take you very long and you don't miss too much of the show. It is a typical AMC theater with all the same amenities as most have including the bar that is open during certain hours (which I do not know). I would say that they are due to redo some of the seats in the dolby because they are very worn and the "leather" is flaking off. read more

I asked for help with an issue that I was having gift cards and the manager says she does not do anything with gift cards at her theater. She guided me to the app service center and to some customer service numbers, but when I went to both, nothing happened. No one from help center on the app assisted and no one was there to pick up the phone at the customer services. Very disappointed. read more

Went to see the new Deadpool movie. The IMax room was scorching hot and there was no airflow whatsoever. AMC should also upgrade their seats in that particular theater. Back to the cinema!!! Glad to see theaters opened up again. Live the remodeled seats, padded nicely and reclining. And dividers between the rows make it feel like private screenings! Couple things were not as pleasant though. First of all the sound was way too loud! I know the theater is across the street from a large retirement complex but not everyone is hard of hearing!! The second thing is even with discounts, we are members of AMC Stubs program plus "discount Tuesdays", it was expensive. Two Senior tickets, two Child tickets, large popcorn to share, a drink for my wife & i to share, plus an Icee for each of the grandkids, total $60. Ouch! The cost will probably limit our visits to once a month, not a weekly visit we enjoyed in the past. read more

I went to amc woodlands with my boyfriend we watched a movie in room 14 there was no ac it was so hot to the point I had to take my socks off and my hair was sticking to myself . During the movie about in the middle the lights also came on my boyfriend asked them to lower the ac they said they were having issues and gave him a free movie voucher. They are normally very comfortable however if I would've known there was no ac I wouldn't have paid 50$ to watch a movie outside. read more

If you want to go to a low key movie theatre that's nice and clean this is the one. I also like Countryside CMX movie theatre but it's usually packed you have to go through Countryside Mall to get to it so if you want to be more in peace and go see a movie and be gone this is the one. We saw Black Atom which was pretty cool! Bathrooms were pretty clean and they also have reserved seating which I like personally. The chairs recline and are pretty comfortable my friend agreed as well. It's been a while since her and I have been to a movie theatre but we had fun! I miss going to the movies can't wait to see Black Panther and Avatar 2. :))) read more

So this spot is my daughter and I regular movie spot. We went today to see the Bob Marley movie. We saved our hunger for the flat bread pizza and pretzel Parmesan bites which are delicious. They are super friendly here and it's always clean. If you're looking for a movie spot to choose that has comfort and variety pick this place because you won't regret it. Had many fun nights here. It's a drive for us, but I always like how clean the theater is here! The reason they do t get 5 stars is because of those darn seats that 'recline'. They KILL my back. It cuts at just the wrong spot and I'm too short to sit in it without it being reclined because my legs just dangle since they're made for giants. So that's a back killer also! WHY are all these theaters doing this????? Anyway, it's clean and the people are nice, but again, there's very little human interaction except for food since the ticket booth is all automated. I sound like my Grandmother...but some 'progress' just takes away from the enjoyable experience of living life as a group of people living on the same planet, ya know?? There is rarely a parking issue and lots of choices to eat afterwards within the same strip or very close-especially if you're headed back to tampa. I went to see Top Gun Maverick on June 8th. The theater was too hot for me. I have a medical condition and can be quite sensitive to heat. I went out of the theater and spoke with a very nice young lady who was sweeping the floors and asked her if the A/C would be turned on during the movie. (Sometimes theaters are hot at first and cool off as the movie goes on.) Long story short, she was very kind and helpful. She found out within minutes that the A/C would be going on to cool the theater. She also brought me out a large cup for free and showed me where I could get ice to help me cool down until the A/C kicked in. As it turned out, I ate 2/3 of the cup of ice by the end of the movie. It really helped. The theater was clean, staff were all polite and helpful and that young lady was extremely helpful and efficient. This was also a great sound and visual experience. I definitely recommend this theater and will be back. Thank you! read more

I missed most of my movie waiting in line for refills. The staff doesn't care and doesn't do anything in a hurry. There is no process to move the lines faster and no side line for refills. We're gonna cancel out Stubs membership. The discounts aren't worth it when you miss most of the movie. read more

Theater itself has been wonderfully upgraded, but the staff needs some training. Got tickets to a 3d movie, realized we had no glasses right before it started, and it was a confusing mess to try to get them in time. No one knew anything about the Stubbs program. One seat was broken in the upright position but luckily there were plenty of seats and we could move. Pop corn stuck in the seats. A rather scary movie was included in the previews, which wasn't appropriate for young kids that went to see Elemental in my opinion. It's a great theatre, there are truly no "bad" seats anymore, and the recliners are awesome. Wouldn't take much to make it a much better experience - if you're going to charge $18 for 1 popcorn and soda you need to provide more help with workers that are knowledgeable, not just nice (as they all were). read more

My mother visited from out of town and was talking the kids out for fun . My son is 17 and my other son is 1 1/2 . The sign says 2 and up are charged . The lady told my mother that she was still charging for the little one . Not good policy if your not abiding by the cost. Won't be coming back to this establishment. I love the movies and grew up going to AMC Woodlands. It has always been the theatre I recommend to go to for the best experience overall and prices/quality of food. I was extremely disappointed this past time I experienced a movie over the weekend, Black Adam. The popcorn was not filled to the top of the Large bucket. It tasted like the put a pound of salt into it .... I love salt but wow... not yummy . We also tried something new and got the garlic parm pretzel bites and they were terrible. Not soft, extremely hard and chewy. The powder on top for the flavor was uncooked and tasted terrible ... we ate a couple bites and threw the rest away. We also couldn't finish our popcorn and I usually eat a large to myself as a 135 pound woman (just to show how much I love the popcorn) lol I really hope these comments are taken under consideration while retraining your staff at the food department. read more
