First time here taking the Amtrak train to NY. Usually we go to South station but decided to go…read morehere instead this time and worked out great. It's a small station with a small room waiting area. There is a Dunkin' Donuts right there and if you walk around the corner there is a Jugos - which is actually really great - lots of healthy food and drink choices. The train schedule monitors are easy to read and shows the track a few minutes before the train arrives. Then you go down to the platform. What is nice is the platform has the cars marked Car1, Car 2 so you know exactly where your car will be and can wait there and get into right car when the train arrives. Really a nice feature- not seen on many tracks. Getting here by Uber was easy - got dropped off right outside and walk right in. Train was on time and place was not too crowded. So our travel went smoothly. Arriving back also was fairly easy. Got out of the train and went upstairs to the waiting room area. Called an Uber and got home. Overall good experience here.

Right near if not attached to the TD Garden and only a handful of eateries. Makes me wonder if there is even a bathroom on the premises. I guess considering it is a commuter rail station that my options are fairly restrictive. A basic station and nothing more.

This causes traffic build up and people can easily miss their train. Also half the time they don't even work, which then you have to jump in another line. I had a question and an employee did get an answer but she took so long my train was there and I almost just left her because she was slowly walking back to me like she had no care in the world. This place is chaotic as well. Between the Bruins games people, people partying and we got the cross fire of Salem people and Halloween weekend people - wasn't fun and finding our Lyft was a mess. I really didn't like this at all, and the train windows were so dirty you couldn't even see out of them. I guess it doesn't help it's directly under TD Garden so it makes sense for the madness but I'll pass.

This is Kurt,…read more OnApril 2nd I was driven home on van 2628 (driven by George). George is a wonderful thoughtful patient driver. He deserves great kudos. I would love the possibility of riding with him in the future. We had an incident concerning a blind man scheduled to get on our van along with a service dog. The woman already on the van with me was freaking out aboput the possibility of the dog getting onto our van as she is seriously allergic to dogs. The Ride refused to put either my co passenger on a second vehicle. My fellow passenger with her coat wrapped arpoundith all of the windows open and her head wrapped tightly with her coat. I don't know how the ride deals with deathly allergies at the time the rides are scheduled. It would seem prudent on the Ride's part to consider service dogs along with the allergies of passengers with great concern for safe rides for it's customers. The Driver George handled this situation wonderfully. He gave equal concern for the blind man and his dog and the scare allergic passenger. Reward and thank him for me. I'm always treated good and courteously. I so appreciate the Ride being available to me as a disabled person. thankfully, Kurt Cybulski

Coming from Los Angeles where I live with transportation that's struggling, Boston's system is a breath of fresh air. Not perfect, there are some delays and a bit of confusion - I'd get over it fast if I'd live there! But it's reliable, comes fast, takes you everywhere in the city, great connections. You can take it to and from the Airport (Logan) which it's a major plus! Pretty fast and easy. It is the oldest in USA (Bolyston station has a small nice museum inside, very cool!), so many stops don't have AC, but they have fans. Staff- some folks nice and helpful, some just OK. Not the cleanest, a tad squeaky, but it extends to ferry lines as well. A few nitpicks, but a solid transportation system that takes you everywhere. Love the lines that take you above ground. I got a pass on a Charlie Card and I used it a lot during my Boston visit. My husband lived here in college and told me it's still has the same smell. Nothing bad for him. More like Proust's madeleine.

I honestly had zero clue where we were going, but hubs can read a map blindfolded- so went with the flow. The Charles/MGH T train stop is super convenient as it's located right across from The Whitney Hotel. Even though hubs had a good idea where we were going, we still needed a little push from Ricco who has the kindest heart (with red jacket on) and helped us find our way. We honestly didn't see anything wrong with this train station- unlike someone writing about how this station is "crappy" or "dirty". Plus coming from someone who knows NYC subway perfectly well.... this was neither. This stop just took us from point A to point B seamlessly.

We were here for 5 days and bought the 7 day pass. This got us full access to the trains, buses and ferries for our entire trip. We stayed in an AirBnB close to Cambridge and took the Red Line into the city everyday. From there we also took the Green Line multiple times and the Blue Line to get to the airport. If you don't mind public transportation and walking just a short distance to where you need to go, the Charlie Card is well worth the value and even though we had to buy the 7 day pass for a 5 day visit, we got our money worth and then some. We checked Uber some days and the price of one Uber was the same as the Charlie Card for a week.

Don't trust the MBTA CharlieCard! I have two CharlieCards that worked fine last year. This spring…read morethey suddenly stopped working. I checked with MBTA customer service and was told that the cards had a $0 balance. This was totally untrue. I then checked with another source and confirmed that there was a balance of over $10 but it was expired. This is ridiculous because the cards have "Expiration Date: 6/20/2028" printed on them. How could MBTA let them expire more than 4 years in advance! One of my cards is a Senior CharlieCard and I can renew the card online. MBTA posted that "If you renew current or expired [senior] card, your balance from your old card will be automatically transferred to your new card." However, when I received the new senior card, it had $0.00 transferred into it. So, the CharlieCard issuer has fooled me (the customer) at least three times in a short period of time (card expired 4 years before the printed date; told me the balance was $0; claimed the balance could be transferred when it actually couldn't). The CharlieCard is a transportation debit card. When customers made a deposit into their bank accounts, no bank dares to wipe the money off for no reason. However, the CharlieCard issuer dares to do such illegal things.

He was there immediately, helped me to a bench, offered to get help which I declined Even so an ambulance arrived, checked me and then left, the security officer stayed with me until it was time for my train, then escorted me to the Amrak train. Outside taxi and bus stand, though the taxi driver wanted a minimum in charge and would only take cash if it was only $15-20 for the ride to the hotel. Amtrak, buses, subway stop, and regional rail here (MBTA). The building wraps around the corner and doesn't connect to the business tower behind - interesting design, though. They did allow you to board about 10-15 min early.
