Broken safety hand rail.
gordon h.

Worst bus line ever. Slow, crappy busses, go with another service, do not let someone sell you these tickets. None of the headsets worked. T One lady gave up trying to help. All the equipment is garbage. I attached a picture of the broken safety rail. If all the things you can see are broken, what's underneath that you can't see?

He communicated the time of picking and was right on time. Fabrizio is a funny and knowledgeable man and we thought he'd known us like family from the start. After the 14day cruise was over, Fabrizio picked us up in Civitavecchia and transferred us to the Leonardo Da Vinci-Fiumicino airport (FCO) in record time. One thing to mention is...my wife left something in Fabrizio 's van the day he took us to the cruise ship and he took care of it and brought it back to her the day he picked us up. What a super man. I would highly recommend Fabrizio and Allarounditaly to anyone needing a pick up or tour in Italy, Rome, Florence and the Almalfi coast. Give them a call 0039+3343346131 or on the web Allarounditaly.net

Fabrizio is very knowledgeable in history and hot spots "all around Italy!" He has a great fleet of vehicles that are extremely comfortable and spacious. He understood that we had a wide range of ages in our group with different needs. Fabrizio treated us like family and no matter what we requested/changed he was able to provide that service with a smile. We highly recommend Fabrizio and All Around Italy for any transportation needs while in Italy! I know we'll be calling him when we return.

My mother-in-law is elderly and getting around with her took more time than expected. Still, we arrived at the staging area and the staff was still very pleasant and accommodating. You can tell they were getting us to hurry because they know the area would be overrun with other tour groups. They really wanted us to have the best time and experience there. And they sat us in a very good spot for the Wednesday audience with the Pope. I would definitely recommend this company.

He is definitely highly recommended. He is an archaeologist as well so he had a lot of fascinating things to share with us. We actually ran into him on three separate occasions in Rome by chance and he was great to talk to each time. The Colosseum tour we took also included the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill (both even more fascinating than the Colosseum in my opinion). The Vatican tour was with Claudia and she was equally as knowledgeable and fun! She obviously knew the folks she needed to to get around in this massive complex without having to wait for anything. The "no-line" entry most tours get has lines here. She had the hookup to get us even past those lines. The tour starts through the Vatican Museum and it was very crowded at the time we were there. She fought to make room for us to get in front of the masses to get a close look at all the things she wanted us to see. It was great to see her genuinely care about our experience. Just about every other tour group we saw in this places had at least 30 people in them. Both tours we took with Real Rome Tours had less than 10. We all had an equal opportunity to experience these beautiful sights with great knowledgable folks who even stuck around to answer any questions we had. They also give great recommendations on restaurants and other places you need to see while in Rome. Gerard was also a pleasure dealing with while booking our tours. He is well organized and gave us a great alternative when we wanted to do the Colosseum Underground tour that wasn't available. It worked out perfectly for us. I couldn't recommend Real Rome Tours any more.

The route covers many of the city's highlights including the pilazzos and Vatican areas. Buses ran every 15-20 minutes minimizing waiting time and allows for flexible sightseeing throughout the day. An audio guide was available in multiple languages and provides useful historical context. Earphones were included in the price. The Big Bus staff recommended you do the full tour first and then come back the second time and get off at your favorite spots. The full tour was one hour and 45 minutes. The open-top seating offered great views and scenic vistas. A two day pass was ideal because you can take a full tour on day one and then on day two visit your favorite spots or a combination thereof. The only downside was sometimes the bus arrived at your stop full. Ticket prices were very economical via Expedia. You could not beat the convenience of not having to map out your day and not worrying about driving or parking.

It made planning my day really easy. * Clean buses & good views: The upper deck gives fantastic photo opportunities, and the buses were surprisingly clean despite the crowds. * Audio guide: The headphone commentary was actually helpful and not overly cheesy. It gave just enough history to keep things interesting. * Great for first-timers: If you're new to Rome or short on time, it's an easy way to orient yourself.

I used Rome In Limo for a transfer over ten years ago and decided to reach out to them again for help getting tickets and transport. What a great choice! From the moment I filled out my online request, I was in Jany's good hands. She quickly connected with me and was eager and ready to make my trip come to life. Rome In Limo doesn't just give you a cookie cutter type of tour. It's all about you and your preferences. The three day tour I picked was tweaked to accommodate a transfer from the airport and sights were moved around to make the most of our time. They gave us a reputable ticket agent to secure Vatican and Basilica tickets and coordinated the tour timing with our guide. Stefano, our driver for two days couldn't have been better. He was professional, friendly, prompt, flexible and knowledgeable about all the sights and Rome's history. We had a couple of special places we wanted to go and it was no problem at all. We wanted to go into the Pantheon and next to the Trevi Fountain and needed tickets. Stefano quickly secured our tickets taking our stress away! After two days with him we came away feeling like we had been traveling with a good friend not just a tour guide. Guilia our guide for the Vatican and St. Peter's was just as prompt, knowledgeable, warm and friendly, weaving us through the massive crowds and showing us the most important exhibits. Jany, Stefano and Guilia made our Rome experience exceptional. Whatever we needed was handled quickly and seamlessly. What I really appreciated was the level of communication. Jany was always available to answer and reassure me about any concern or question I had. I never felt alone from the moment I made my first request until our final goodbye. It was an awesome feeling to know the Rome In Limo team truly cared about us and wanted to make our trip special, we weren't just another customer.

They are punctual and communicate about your upcoming rides so you don't have to wonder if they are going to remember to pick you up. Drivers are friendly and helpful. I wish I could give more stars.
