My work schedule can be a inconsistent and PD walks has been so helpful and flexible when we need it. Not to mention, Coach loooooves her and is so tired after a long play day. She sends updates when they are en route to and from my house and always lets me know when he is safe and sound at home. She also sends pictures and videos from his day, so I know he is taken care of and loved. They have been the best to work with, and I would recommend to anyone! They are THE place to trust with your fur baby. Update- we've been using pdwalks for some time now, and has continued to be the best daycare option for Coach. He comes home so tired, and he always has the best time- I can always tell by the pictures I get throughout the day. Wouldn't change a thing! 3/6/2020

We brought our pup to her so she could evaluate what was going on, and when he came home, she walked us through a step by step process that allowed him to be confident being home alone again. I was seriously concerned that we wouldn't be able to leave him alone ever again, but Elena knew what to do, and encouraged us to patiently stick with the program. Now we can leave him at home and he's relaxed and happy. The vet could only recommend that we drug him. Elena really knows dogs and she is excellent at giving them a voice. We are so grateful. Thank you, Elena!

Like others I live off of reviews so giving you guys the raw version for all my over protective pet…read moreparents like myself. This review is only based off of my experience/ first impressions and this business may work amazingly for your dog! Once I found Walk ATX it took me a while to get in contact with someone, called a couple times, left a voicemail, sent a couple emails -to no avail! Sent a dm on insta as a last resort and finally got in contact with someone! Yay! Erika helped me set up my account and went over daycare. Dropped my pup off for his first day! First impressions matter to me and as someone who is nervous I would have loved to see them greet my dog. Instead the woman at the front ( not sure her name - mullet - immediately went into a quick " take off the leash. What's his name? You'll get an update at 11" And then I watched her usher him straight to the backyard. No saying hi to the dog, no convo with me, no easing his nerves, no questions about him, no petting him, no introductions, nothing. I didn't love that, especially since it was our first time and it made me much more nervous to drop him off there. Around 11:00 I started to look for updates, none. Tried to call 3 times, no answer. Again this is his first day so not hearing anything on how he was doing and getting no photos - nerves then rose to an all time high. People are allowed to have bad days so will update this after a few more times. Just know the first day is not as informative or warm may not be as warm as you'd expect.

Our boy Mo aka Molty aka Moshi has been coming to Walk ATX since 2022. As many of you, our doggo is…read moreour family and we want only the best of the best for him. It is difficult to find a doggy boarding/day care that provides such well rounded, holistic approach to pet care. We have used Walk ATX for boarding, day camp with pick up and drop off included, and for in home check ins with walks. As well as their add-ons like baths and fun photoshoots. Mo is a party animal - we are constantly training, working with him and we fill all of his needs. Yet he is an energetic, happy 2.5yo rescue from Austin Pets Alive. He is a foster win actually. He's always soooo excited when he realizes he's about to get dropped off at Walk ATX and he's welcomed with big smiles and a huge "Hi Mo!!!!!" by the passionate and hard working staff. Walk ATX does pack walks, outdoor playtime in their yard with staff assigned to different groups of dogs. I love that there's constant supervision and a structured day. Including rest/down time, which is just as important as to not overstimulate the doggos. It seems as if Walk ATX has only gotten better over the years. They've incorporated training, special add-ons, and cool adventures. Last time Mo stayed with them while we were in Costa Rica, Britton and the team were super attentive (Mo was on limited activity for the first few days per our vet), and even called to give an update, in addition to their daily updates via email and on their app "Time to Pet". I know Mo is cared for and looked after by a group of caring animal lovers.

Barking Life Pet Concierge came recommended through someone in our neighborhood…read more I've used Barking Life for 30-minute services (to let my dogs out/play/eat) and have also used them for overnight pet sitting in my home. They always exceed my expectations and impress me with their professionalism, support and expertise. My dogs love their sitter Britni, who is such a kind and caring person. Britni always sends me updates with photos every single time she's with my dogs. Barking Life's customer service is the highest I have ever come across in pet care. I will never use anyone else. Thank you so much Barking Life Pet Concierge!

Unfortunately, my experience with Barking Life was VERY DISAPPOINTING…read more The day before an important trip, I contacted Barking Life for care for my two dogs. They quickly matched me with a sitter, and I paid over $250 upfront, completed all paperwork, and scheduled a meet-and-greet. The sitter spent about 1.5 hours with me, interacted well with my dogs, discussed their routines in detail, referenced future visits, and left with my apartment key and parking permit. At no point did she express any concerns. About an hour after she left, I received a call stating that the meet-and-greet "didn't go well" and that the booking was canceled. This was completely unexpected based on our interaction. What made the situation even more concerning was that the company initially seemed unaware that the sitter still had my apartment key and parking permit. Thankfully, another staff member personally retrieved and returned them more than two hours after the sitter had left with my belongings. To make matters worse, the cancellation occurred less than 12 hours before my trip, leaving me scrambling to find alternative care for my pets. Also, reunds typically take 7-10 business days to process for a service that was never provided. My issue is not that a sitter has the right to decline a booking. My issue is with the process. I would strongly recommend requiring a meet-and-greet before collecting full payment, or charging a small consultation fee until both parties agree to move forward. This would prevent customers from paying hundreds of dollars upfront only to have services canceled at the last minute. I also believe there should be clearer expectations regarding booking commitments. While emergencies, illness, or family matters are understandable reasons for canceling, none of those reasons were communicated in this situation. Customers should be able to rely on a booking once it has been accepted. Any concerns that may prevent a sitter from completing a service should be identified before payment is collected and final arrangements are made. Finally, I would encourage the company to be more cautious when accepting last-minute bookings. A cancellation less than 12 hours before departure can place customers in an extremely difficult position, especially after they have been encouraged to move forward with pet sitting instead of alternative arrangements. While I appreciate the employee who personally returned my belongings, the overall experience left me feeling unsupported during a time-sensitive situation when reliability mattered most.
