They seem to have some sense that tells them when someone wants to catch them. For these reasons, I started looking for a mobile vet and this was the first one I found via google. I now see there are others, but we are pretty happy with the service we received. And don't let the "North Zulch" address discourage you. She was making our house call in Katy on her way back from Friendswood and she services multiple counties from what I can see on her website. So we got all animals done within an hour. We didn't have to worry about the cats making a ton of noise in a waiting room due to being frightened by other people or their animals. They were still afraid of the vet, but once they received their shots and were let loose, they went back to whatever they were doing and quickly forgot about it. And the cost? Very good. We got rabies, vaccinations, heartworm tests, revolution for the cats, heartgard for the dogs, FIV and feline leukemia tests, and house call svc charge all for less than $100 per animal. That's a great deal when many vets charge you $100 just to walk in the door currently. The only caveat is her help sometimes seem a bit lax. They forgot to call us to notify us of the appointment time and wouldn't budge when we tried to reschedule, so my husband cancelled his afternoon appts to get this done. I think her helper just didn't want to get fussed at maybe. I'm letting it go this time due to the great service of Dr. Jamieson and for her putting up with our divas (our cats).

We were referred to South Central and the nice ladies at the desk picked up, they told us to bring him in ASAP and made us feel hopeful again that our boy will survive. My husband and I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Walla and Dr. Sodek when we got there. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and definitely impressed us. Dr. Sodek suggested different options and was kind, compassionate and not at all pushy. We chose surgery and when he gave me the price for the treatments including hospitalization - and it was so affordable! Long story short, Dr. Sodek and his wonderful team is the reason my boy is still alive and recovering. Not to mention the daily calls I get to update on his condition. He is now back at home happily recovering.

I chose this veterinary place because I wanted the least stressful death for my 19 year old dog. Going to veterinaries even if they were good was not a fun experience for any of my pets. This mobile veterinary is everything I was hoping it was. The veterinary and an assistant came in the house, made sure my dog was comfortable and proceeded with the euthanasia process. It was still really sad, but they make the best effort to make you feel at ease and your pet. His office may be humble, but you can tell he really enjoys his career choice. He used to give one or two vaccines to me for free, or wouldn't charge if I brought both of my cats in at once. Many clinics are so money hungry, and his hospitality is really rare to find. He also is just a nice guy. He loves animals and is very quick to solve issues. I went to Banfield for over a year for my first cat's ringworm and they continuously charged us for expensive sulfur baths that did not work. We paid in the thousands. Dr. Bond said my cat was a little young for a medicine, but he wanted to try it.. and his ringworm was gone for good in under two weeks. The medicine was $20. I brought my other cat in who ran away from home and broke his leg. When the shelter picked him up, the techs there told me that he would need an amputation and to expect about $3k for the cost. I checked other clinics for an estimate and they agreed with the ballpark. Dr. Bond spent about 1 minute with my cat before telling me he was not in pain, and that the leg could stay. He also said if I needed to amputate, it would cost $300-500. He explained that my cat's muscle may atrophy, but if he was walking on it, he saw no reason to take his leg. My cat is the happiest four legged boy now. The most he has wrong is a tiny bit of arthritis, but he runs fast on his broken leg, which is just a tiny bit crooked. He's never had a single issue with it since. He saved both my pets from unnecessary trauma, and me from spending nonstop money on issues that were easily treatable by a true professional. His heart is with his patients, and I can't recommend him enough. We wish we could find a vet like this in Nevada.

Within 2-3 weeks my cats tooth blew up and it could have been prevented in my opinion. (I worked in the dental field and gingivitis can be seen early). After two visits, I just saw a lack of customer service and lack of care over all at this clinic. I ended up at a place in CS. I just was not overly impressed with Boonville. Maybe another dr would have been better... not sure but even the front desk could have been better with service and communication upon entering and exiting.
