I hired Green Pro Construction for a remodel of my master bathroom.  The house was built in 2003 and a slow leak had developed under the floor.  We first considered repair, and then decided that as many of the components needed to be removed, that a remodel was the best path.  And as I had been working with Kohler on a remodel design for a few months before the leak was discovered, I had parts, components, and layout picked out.  I called Green Pro and Avi came out to visit that same day.  We talked about options and the urgency of stopping the leak (as it was starting to intrude into the bedroom).  We agreed on the plan and the demolition crew came out the next day.  We got the leak stopped and took a week to re-group and plan. I had designed a very complicated bathroom, complete with custom tub, 6 shower heads, and electronically controlled valves.  Everything from the plumbing to the medicine cabinet to the channel drain to even the paint are specialty items, and I had concerns as to their ability to work with components that they likely have never installed, as well as the need to dig into my slab that contains post-tension cables.  Between inspection delays and crew availability, the whole process took exactly 4 months to build out the 9' x 9' space.  The workers were always very clean, polite, and wanting to ensure that the work was done to my standards.  They would always ask if there were any questions to positioning or how I wanted things configured.  They would show up when expected and clean up after themselves - being attached to the master bedroom, this was very important.  One major hiccup was that we discovered the tub that I ordered would not fit through the doorway, so we had to remove a window to get it in.  They took this in stride and made it happen without issue, even though I was very nervous about potential damage to the very heavy, very awkward piece. Between Avi and Joseph, they were here on an ongoing basis to check in on the job as well as any time that I had concerns or needed advice on alternatives.  The bathroom is now absolutely beautiful; it feels like a trip to the spa!  Everything came together perfectly, and I am very happy.  I highly recommend Green Pro Construction as they truly care about your project and work hard to ensure that it comes out the way that you envisioned.  Joseph and Avi will take good care of you. read more

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Green Pro Construction. We recommend them highly and would definitely use them on our next project. We called David to bid on a guest bathroom remodel in our Marina del Rey condo. My wife needed a frameless shower that she could access with a walker. David spent a lot of time discussing our best options. We liked him and accepted his bid. David's design partner Joseph drew up plans for our HOA approval and pulled permits from the LADBS. During the approval process, Joseph and I met at outside vender showrooms. He helped us pick out floor tile, new vanity cabinet, lighted mirror, granite counter top and plumbing fixtures. The demo was scheduled within days of project approval. Demo guys were outstanding, everything done in about 6 hours with no mess left behind. Our project manager Isaac then took over daily supervision. Every sub-contractor was excellent, including plumber Othello, electrician Mauricio, and countertop fabricator Jose. Each stage required permit inspections overseen by Joseph and Isaac. The finish work was done by Jimi and Isaac, who designed a sloping floor to accommodate the frameless shower. Both of these guys went above and beyond the call of duty to insure that every detail came together. They had a nice gentle way of working - we were sorry to say goodbye when the project ended! Review Short Version: This company is fantastic at what they do. If you're looking to hire someone to do construction / renovation on your home, hire them, you'll be glad you did. Review Long Version: We hired Green Pro for a bathroom remodel, a complete tear out and redo, including moving all the plumbing fixtures and reintroducing a shower (the previous owner had removed the shower many years ago). Green Pro was prompt with setting up a time for consultation, and it was a pleasure speaking with David and Yossi about our project. They came through with a realistic, and reasonable, job quote. We ended up purchasing the materials ourselves (because there were many specific pieces we wanted), but they do have an extensive selection of good quality materials at reasonable prices if you want to just have them take care of everything. We did this with permits, and Green Pro handled the entire permitting process. All we had to do was show up for inspections. It went incredibly smoothly in that department thanks to Green Pro. Green Pro came through with excellent subcontractors to do the work all the way around - tile, plumbing, electrical, glass, you name it. All of the work teams were quality people, easy to work with, and professional. We had chosen a really tricky tile pattern for our shower and some walls. It took a bit to get the implementation of the tiling correct, but they made sure it was exactly the way we wanted it. Similarly we found after installation a few of the floor tiles were a bit squeaky, Green Pro and their crew kept at it until everything was done right, no squeaks. These are just a couple of examples of how committed this team is to getting the job done right. David and Yossi were incredibly responsive to any and all questions and requests we had, from material choices (the gave us great insights here), to scheduling, to problem solving, and so on. Their communication skills are top notch, which is critical when navigating any home remodel. The result is a beautiful bathroom that we're really enjoying. We're now planning a kitchen remodel. When the time comes, Green Pro will be our choice for that job, and any other major remodels we have down the road. We needed to do a remodel of our tired old main bathroom. The initial design that David and his team came up with was very creative, especially given the constraints of a 6' x 8' space, so we chose them for the project. We decided to go through the permitting process which lengthened the time to completion. However, the site manager Joseph kept the project moving the entire time. He was constantly making site visits to check on the project and solve any issues that came up, and his workers were very efficient. If you have an older home and care about details - just don't hire these guys - keep looking for someone with more experience. You will be disappointed. We did a bathroom remodel and had to ask them to stop trying to fix their mistakes. After 40k on simple a bathroom remodel we will be spending another 10k to fix everything they screwed up. It still boggles my mind how bad they were despite all of their attempts to do right. The only thing Green about these guys is their experience level and they are not pro(s) yet. Maybe if you are flipping a condo or something they are the right fit. After nearly a year I find myself still just plain angry about what they did to my house- what could have been a simple and successful project for our only bathroom. Run! read more

The condo required a licensed contractor for remodeling, and they had to locate the bathroom pipes which is confusing since there are many pipes in the complex. Joseph saw the job from beginning to end and did a very good job with competitive pricing. The tiles turned out stunning and the plumbing works well! Stay away! These folks initially scheduled to start work yesterday at 10 am and said it would take 3 days to finish. They called and said they would be delayed for one day and was supposed to start this morning. So far so good and then.... They showed up at 8 am this morning, which is certainly a different time than 10 am. Clearly there was a misunderstanding on the start time. When I reached him at 8:35 am he said they showed up and left when they couldn't get a hold of me for 35 minutes. I expected them at 10 am. To add insult to it, they refused to come back or reschedule, and have now left us hanging without someone to finish our bathroom. It was a spiteful move to not reschedule, and completely unprofessional. Stay away! read more

From day one until the last day of work, they were there with me, by my side through the whole process. They came by my condo each day to go over what would be done that day and answer any questions I had.
