Visited this nail salon today and overall had a good experience. It's a small, but super affordable a regular manicure is only $15, which is a great deal compared to most places that charge $20-$30. The staff isn't super talkative, which honestly might be a plus if you're just looking to relax. They were friendly and professional, just not overly chatty like some other salons I've been to. Only thing I'd suggest is updating their color selection..it felt a little limited and could use some fresher, trendier shades, but if you're looking for a quick, affordable manicure, this place definitely delivers. read more

This nail salon is extremely clean and professional. All staff is masked even in June 2023. If you're concerned about exposure, you will feel safe here. Their polish is meticulously maintained, organized, and clean. The equipment is new, not gross and worn like a lot of other nail shops. They play soothing music and it's a very relaxing environment. The classic, basic pedicure comes with a hot stone massage that is simply divine. When I went under the dryer, my tech gave me a little back massage. I wish I caught her name and I'm sure all the other techs are just as good as her. The prices are very fair and the results are immaculate. First time here today. Helen was my provider. I got the four seasons pedicure and a regular manicure. From the time I walked in to when I walked out was overall a great experience. Kim really spoiled me. I've never been pampered more at a nail salon nor had anyone pay so much attention to detail prior to my experience today at Ambler Nails. My nails look amazing. My skin feels so soft. Kim gave me such a relaxing massage. Everything was so sterile, clean, and eco-friendly. I found this place through Yelp reviews, I called after we went Green from COVID, they saw me the next day. Appointment was originally for 7pm, but there was cancellation and owner called me at 330 and said come on over. He greeted me at the door, explained I had to wash hands frost and keep my mask on. My mom and I popped in here for pedicures because we were in desperate need and this was the only spot open on Monday- WOW! What incredible service and a pleasant environment. We were the only two guests and both enjoyed relaxing and well done pedicures by Mia and the owner. I am getting married in less than three months and may have had a stress-induced crying fit mid-pedicure... the owner quickly and quietly grabbed me a box of tissues and didn't make me feel like an idiot for crying in public (which I probably should have, but I digress.) When we went to pay, I was given a gift certificate for a free pedicure as a wedding gift! I cannot recommend this place enough and we will absolutely be regulars. read more

I tried out gel nails for the first time & I love them! They were a reasonable price (plus it was even cheaper since I paid in cash) & I think that they were done very well! My only complaint is that I requested multiple times that I wanted a heart design on my ring finger & didn't get that, so now I just have a plain white nail that I don't hate, but I think I definitely would've been happier if I I got what I asked for. read more

Great service, especially during COVID. The place is impeccably clean, the owner/nail tech wears a mask and then is even behind plexi glass for the manicure. He cares so much about his business and customers it really shows. Highly recommend. It's the cleanest nail place in the area. Pedicures get hot stones and towels and a great massage too. this is not a quick nail place, this is the place you go to relax and get a good foot massage and great pedicure or perfect gel manicure. I went here because I was given a gift certificate. I had the worst dip powder that I have ever received here. It was so bumpy, uneven, and brittle that it chipped the next day. When I told the nail artist that it was bumpy at the end, she tried telling me that it was always like that because it was glitter. I have never had sparkly nails that were bumpy and uneven before from any other salon I have been to. When it was time to pay, I tried to use a gift certificate and she handed it back to me saying, "This is not us". I then became confused because it had both their name and address on the certificate. She then replied with, "Well, these certificates were used by the previous owner"... as if the company is not the same exact place just new ownership. She would not honor it so I had to pay full price for the worst nails I have ever gotten done. She also charged me for dip soak off which took off my tips without telling me and then tried to charge me for new ones. I will never return to this place and I hope this discourages you from trying them, as well. read more

Probably 1/4 of the time spent on pedicure that 5 Star Nails in Ambler does (ask for Linda there and she will spend a good 1/2 hour just getting your feet ready). I've been here a couple times in the past few years and new ownership took over only a couple years ago or sooner. Under the new ownership I had a great experience. I've been to my share of nail salons but the customer service was awesome and my nails looked great. I live in E. Norriton and it's always worth going all the way to Spring House to this place for me because of the service, skills, and friendliness. This salon charges the same rates as an upscale salon, with none of the associated amenities. A paint job, new furniture and upgraded equipment are all in order. The most important upgrade, however, would be a new, more pleasant owner. This woman's idea of customer service is horrendous. She scolds and barks like a villainess from a Disney movie. Just moved to the area and thought I'd give this place a try. Salon looks nice and has nice equipment. However, by being rude and not customer focused, the manager quickly lost my biweekly business. Not a good business move. Because they don't use the same product (UV gel) that my last place used, they wanted to charge me $15 to take the set off, plus $60 for the new set, as opposed to the typical $30 refill that I came in for. When I was shocked about spending $75, I was rudely told to go somewhere else where the quality is not as good. I'm happy to pay for quality as I told her, however not to the tune of $75....keep in mind this was NOT a fancy hair salon/spa, it is a stereotypical asian nail salon. A more customer friendly attitude, and the forethought to perhaps minimize the sticker shock in order to secure a loyal customer who will spend at least $100/month at her business, when there are a plethora of other options, would have been a wiser choice, don't you think? read more
