I'm sure that's what some patients want, but that wasn't my goal. But I was pleasantly surprised--Karen Logan was absolutely wonderful! I felt like she really cared about me and was excited to hear about the ways cannabis has been beneficial for me since I started my cancer treatment. The conversation lasted 15 minutes and I never felt rushed. She sent me my certification that night and I was able to file my application with VA. She also gave me some great advice and resources about choosing the best THC-CBD options for me. It's been so hard to find good resources because cannabis research has been so limited, and it's hard to know which information to trust. I feel like this provider has stepped into the role of cannabis education and support, which none of my other doctors or nurses have been able to help me with (and why should they?). If I have any questions, for the next year I can reach out to her anytime for support, and I'm sure I will.
