To be honest, we were surprisingly shocked they committed to their promises and helped us with the big project we wanted to do, amazingly! We were so happy to see that they stood for all their promises to better the project and everything went smoothly, we started with the roof and windows, then we decided to do the master bathroom, and we continued with the kitchen. They were there during the whole project, helped with the designs, and finding the right material. If we had an issue or something came up they just knew how to fix it and make it even more perfect. I would like to share my remarkable experience with greener solution group : My mom leave in a house in Tarzana with in the San Fernando valley there was cracking in the foundation all around the house ,something we wanted to fix for some time quite hunestley we were more then concern dealing with construction companies As their reputation goes before them if you know what I mean..... I read a little bit on line and decide to call s few companies I have made an appointment for Sunday afternoon Right at 5pm their manager, Eli Came to meet us .I told him about the crack and let him walk around the house and hear his recommendation, I was very nurvious it will be pricey and we can't afford it how ever He assured me he will do the best he can to get the capital needed it the best terms Let me just say I was very impressed by how knoelegeble he was, very professional, through, friendly great customer service he made this whole experience stress free ! We have signed the contract and started the job 3 days later, with in 2 weeks the entire project was done ! I would give this company 5 stars - would defenetley use them again ! read more

I Highly recommend this company. I have Been wanting to remodel my kitchen for a while now but was very skeptical of so many different companies. I got several estimates for the custom kitchen of my dreams and Greener solution group gave me the most fair price. When Shon came over with his crew I was so happy that I chose them!!!! My kitchen is now so beautiful with granite that I've always wanted and it's just so perfect! I feel inclined to write a review after reading the negative ones here. I received a call from Greener Solutions and I gave them a chance to come out and bid my projects. Extended honey-do list. As with any company the contractor that bids the job was of course looking for "other" work. Which is fine by me.I did add some additional things I have been putting off. Anyway after settling on a price we signed the work order and the crew arrived when promised. Everything thing that was promised was delivered. We are quit pleased with the outcome and have them in our contacts for further project. In fact in an effort to go greener, we ate setting up and appointment to have a Solar estimate done. No, no, go away! I had a rep out to my home looking for an estimate on restoring our backyard colored/stamped concrete. Over the years, the calcium buildup from rain, hard water sprinklers and sun had turned most of it white. My own efforts at power washing, scrubbing was no longer working so thought needed expert help. The natural colors still look amazing when wet, so I know the colors are still there. Well the rep, Guy, assured me they could do it and would look beautiful again. He would have 2-3 guys power wash it and then reseal over probably 3 days. I was surprised no chemical cleaning would be done as the buildup is pretty heavy and my own washing wasn't doing it. But he assured me his would. Then, he crunched his numbers on the 1220 square feet to be done and came up with $11,800. Since it was my first estimate, I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was easily way over what I wanted to pay. Especially just for power washing and resealing. I told him I wasn't comfortable with that price and would have to give it thought. Then the real pushing and selling started. His company were pros unlike anybody else who would do cheaper. He assured me we'd get back every penny of it in increased value when home goes up for sale next year. He knows this how? He said he'd have his crew come by tomorrow to do a test sample area to prove the quality. I told him that's fine but I sill won't commit to the job and price. Then he came up with a senior citizen discount, bringing it suddenly down to $10000. Really, senior discount? After more refusals from me, he left. But returned 30 minutes later with a new offer after talking to his boss. He said because they'd be in area doing another job, they'd "tie" mine in with that and reduce in half, $7600. First, how is half of $10000 still $7600? Second, what difference does doing another job near by change the price? They're not going to run back and forth between the jobs. It was obvious they were not selling the job, they were selling us. Their price will be whatever they can get away with. Like other reviews, it's obvious they take advantage of people when they can. And at 3 guys for 3 days, that's approximately 72 hours of work for $7600. So a few hundred for the seal, and means they are still charging $100 an hour per person just to power wash. Now that's some major profit margin, some major scamming! read more

Was not given the scope of work as we signed on the contract last week (we are today 8-10-17). Power wash consisted of two guys walking the perimeter of my home spraying my base of my home which is stucco (we hired them to do the trim only) sprayed the rotted wood somewhat so not to damage further, didn't power wash under my eaves which was to be included with painting the trim and repair and replacing rotted wood.,.... do you think they could sweep up the dropped debris? I know my perimeter was not messy. Okay., I should have watched more carefully. next day, omg!!!!! they were supposed to repair and prime the trim work. Pounded with hammer on my house the first hour. Go out there and there is no wood to be seen for replacing my rotted fascia boards or eave siding. What the heck? They weren't planning on replacing jack crap. They were puttying and sanding down my trim boards and my fascia boards didn't even match correctly. They filled in with putty and that board should have been replaced. Im sure Im gonna have my side of the garage with mismatched butted ends. They need replaced. Then wheres the boss? he should have read the contract we signed. HIS WORKERS BARELY SPOKE ENGLISH And termite damage was not the problem. water damage was and we knew this and spoke to johnny specifically about this very issue. If in one day they say they would have primed and SANDED MY EAVES FASCIA, IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN 4 MEN 1 DAY OR 2 MEN 2 DAYS AT LEAST. I KNOW CAUSE IVE TRIED. UNLESS THEY JUST WAS GOING TO SAND THE FASCIA BOARDS AND NOT THE EAVES UNDERNEATH, THEY FALSELY REPRESENTED THEIR WORK. I ADIMANTLY EXPRESSED THE NEED TO HAVE ROTTEN WOOD REPLACED. IM THE ONE THAT LIVES HERE. THRU THE YEARS IVE ALREADY TRIED THE WOOD PUTTY ETC. IVE OWNED MY HOME ALMOST 30 YEARS. PLEASE DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE HIRING THIS COMPANY. BOTTOM LINE I WANTED TO ASK THEM, if i wasn't watching what was being done and just saw the end product of their work, would i be able to see the difference of their work compared to what i had signed a contract for the work to be done on my house??? I believe that IF A BIG IF after what they did to make my home look good and i was not aware that they didn't change any rotted wood out and I found out they didn't, I would definitely sue them for breach of contract. watch what is in your contract. you might tell them and they might write it down but it don't mean they will honor it. bottom line, I was disappointed when johnny told me with a swatch of colors, "choose what color you want"......... wow i didn't want any of the colors if you give me just a limit of colors to choose from then the next week you see him he says he has millions of colors. I had planned a makeover for my bathroom long before and never got to it since i was scared on how to get it started. I ended up just giving this place a call to see how things would go. The person on the phone guided me through the process and what would happen. They arranged for someone to come over and talk about all the details with me. He was extremely friendly and helpful with giving my a more clear understanding on what would happen. I gave him a list of the things I had planned for the bathroom and he said he would be able to complete all of it. He took it from there and i couldn't be any more happier on how it turned out. He finished perfectly on time with the estimated date given to me and he gave me a pretty good price. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. read more

Like another reviewer, we had someone knock on the door because a neighbor was having work done and we agreed to get an estimate for some work. The estimate person came a few days later and was the pushiest salesman I have ever dealt with. He didn't listen to the work we wanted but focused on telling us what else we needed done. He chicken scratched an over priced estimate on a paper and when we said no, he lowered it wanting us to agree and give him a deposit. All we wanted was a written estimate to make a decision when we checked references and had more estimates. I am sure they do great work but we will never know because this is not the way to get our business. read more

A solicitor from this company came to our house today. We have a No Soliciting sign clearly placed at the front door. Despite that, he knocked. He said that he had seen the sign and knocked instead of ringing the doorbell. He provided a flyer and advised that a neighbor was having some work done and that we might hear a jack hammer. Another neighbor was having his house painted. We no longer have a house phone because of constant solicitation. It`s about respect for peoples privacy. If we need work done we will contact you. Well maybe not your company but a company that respects peoples privacy. read more

I too got taken by a fast talking salesman. I am in my 80's and he sold me a bill of goods. The paint job on my house is horrible. It has been 6 months and the paint is peeling off my trim and they painted my windows shut. I have hired some work done but it continues to get bigger every day. Do not let these people in your house.!! On top of that he made advances on an old lady, I could not believe what he would do to get that contract. A nightmare!Salesman was all charm at first so I had them remodel my kitchen, repaint the whole house inside and out and other work too.They promise "anything you want" for the kitchen, but wouldn't discuss details. When I asked for something they said it was impossible. Partly my fault for trusting them, but communication was very very poor. I should have made them write down EVERY detail in the contract. They called me to seek business, and then sent a young arrogant man to lecture me on what to do and gave me a price on a generic quote sheet. He told me the company to do the work was a different name than Greener Solutions. Then a guy from Greener called a week later apologizing for the first guy and begged me for another chance, so I made an appointment again. Then another guy called to confirm the appointment and insisted my wife be there, and when I said she was not going to be there he called me a "Donald Trump supporter" and then hung up on me. Have never had an experience like this one or talked with such an insulting person. Perhaps they do good work, but getting them to tell you about it is not worth the pain and agony of getting a quote. read more

This company did an absolutely amazing job at my parent's house. Everything that was promised came to reality and even more, the contractor was there every single day with the other workers and got the job done in time. They did a roof for me for a very good price which other companies offered at a way higher price. And they installed for us rain gutters after the job was done. Worst Painters ever. Nothing sanded so paint now pealing off. Nothing covered right. Dust, paint spatter on furniture, broken furniture . Poor quality of paint used. Main contact managers very difficult to deal with. Most workers did not speak English and were very difficult to communicate with. 5 workers promised and 2 would show up. Salesman contacted my husband on the phone and came to our house. He was all kinds of charming. He said they could put the ceiling lights we wanted in our kitchen right away. They would be happy to do a small job to let us check the company out, so that they could build a relationship with us and then do more work for us as we got to know his company.The quote was high, $2,500 compared to adds we had seen from other companies for the same thing. When my husband mentioned that the price was too high the salesman dropped the price to $2,200. Because, according to him, it was a slow time of year and because "he liked us". We decided to go ahead with the work. Partly because I don't like dealing with the whole sales pitch thing and didn't want to have to go through it again with another company. Also I had read the reviews on YELP which overall seemed pretty good. Some complaints but most were positive. What a terrible mistake! After the lights were installed, but none of the dry wall or patching completed, the salesman came by and told us that the employee who installed the new light system told him that our wiring was not sufficient for the new lights. He said if we didn't redo all of the wiring for the kitchen as well as our electric panel, he could not guarantee that the lights they had just installed, would continue to work correctly. And he could not guarantee they would be safe to us. He advised us not to use them! When I asked him why he didn't tell us before installing the new lights?....He said that was "his bad", but it couldn't be helped now. Then he asked me: How could I think that the wiring on a 60 year old house wouldn't require replacement? Really!? (What a jerk!) He quoted us a price of $28,000! Seriously! When we said that was far too much. He said well, since business is slow right now and "because I like you" I will bring the price down to $22,500. If we were unwilling to do this, we should at least, according to him, replace our Circuit Board. A mere $5,800 for that! We told him we would think about it and asked when his people would finish off the drywall on our ceiling surrounding the lights and the other areas they had left open into the attic. He said that they normally don't do that sort of thing. (What?!!) But since "he liked us" he would have them come out and fix the drywall. As soon as the drywall was completed we cut off any more contact with the salesman and from Greener Solutions. We got a quote from an electrician from H. B. (who got sterling reviews on YELP) and he said that we were being scammed, that the circuit board needed replacing but that it would only be $1,800 to do the job. Stay away from this company. My husband and I are a retired couple and I really feel that this guy meant to take advantage of us. I know this is a long review, but believe me I am leaving out a great deal just to make this more manageable for people to read. read more

I found Greener solution Company in The Home Improvement Magazine, as well as two other foundation repair companies. We got free estimates from all three companies and are so thankful we decided to move forward with Greener solution, They provided a detailed inspection report similar to the other companies, although their guys were just more knowledgable and honest. Each company addressed same concern of settling in the back corner of our home which sits on a concrete slab. One company recommended a temporary fix and the other two had permanent repair options. Built Strong was the only company to offer Helical Piers, which is the best permanent solution to a settling slab as it supports us to Bedrock. The company tought us allot about our home and secured our home and concerns for at least the next 30 years God willing we're still here. They were licensed, insured, bonded, everything I was looking for in a credible company. read more
