Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

Having everything mapped out helps avoid delays, last-minute changes, or compromising on your vision. Golan and Jordan were fantastic--Golan handled planning and communication, and Jordan ensured everything stayed on track. They always responded to my texts in a reasonable amount of time. Their tile crew was exceptional (I often bumped into them because they worked long hours and weekends to complete my home and were really nice and respectful people), and they tiled nearly my entire house beautifully (we're talking 2000 sq ft of flooring, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace). I appreciated that Creative didn't nickel and dime me for small changes, and when a gas leak was discovered (due to careless cabinetry work), they fixed it--and more (we found more leaks during the repairs)--without extra charges. Despite delays beyond their control, they completed the full renovation in about six months--from pulling permits to final inspection. Major work included a new kitchen, three bathrooms, tile flooring throughout, interior paint, a new electrical panel, and whole-house LED recessed lighting. Even after the job was done, they returned to fix small issues without hesitation. That kind of follow-up is rare in a world full of disappearing contractors. I would recommend Creative for any remodeling project, big or small.

I try to find a time to reschedule (there's no emergency here thankfully) and he says it's 1000 dollars plus the repair to come on a Sunday. 4. Says photos will be taken down like in the past. Clearly this isn't the first time. There are a lot of companies to choose from please pick someone else.

We decided to clean up the area so we could host an important family event, and our search led to Gio and his team. He responded quickly, and we discussed what we were looking for in re-purposing the rear 1/3 of our property. He described his vision and methods, and provided a very reasonable quote. We decided to move forward, and we left it up to him to provide and plant what was needed to create a perfect space that was both functional for entertainment and really pleasant to just relax and enjoy. Gio and his team did not disappoint. He met (and exceeded) our expectations, and stuck to the schedule and budget. And he didn't just create planter areas and new lawn, he also installed a paver walkway to match our existing patio stones. When he was finished with the original scope, he offered to maintain the rear yard to make sure our investment (and his hard work) would continue to look as good as the day he finished. He is not a typical "mow-blow-& go" gardening service. When he and his team arrive, they look around, see whatever needs care and attention, make everything right, and leave every inch of the yard neatly trimmed and clean. I interviewed 3 contractors before deciding on My Cali Builders. I was referred by a kitchen designer I met while wandering into a store looking at kitchen cabinets. I asked her for a contractor referral if she knew of a good one. She told me she does most of her jobs with My Cali Builders. All the contractors I interviewed were good and I felt competent and would do a good job but I felt a connection with Danny Raz, the owner. I felt during a few interviews he listened to me and assured me he would be with me every step of the way since I had never done a full complete remodel on my condo before. I believed him. It was a 5 month remodel because I had to even out my slanted flooring. Danny did not disappoint me at all. He is a perfectionist as I am. Every decision I had to make he explained the pros and cons whereby I could make an informed decision about what I wanted. He always showed up on time, he never canceled, and all of his workmen were respectful, knowledgeable, worked clean, and I was more than satisfied. I love my condo now. It is stunning! The finished product exceeded my expectations. I have heard all the nightmare stories of contractors. We absolutely love how our backyard turned out! The new overhang and outdoor living area has completely changed how we use the space. We spend so much more time outside now, and it has become one of our favorite parts of the house. We also entertain quite a bit, and the new space allows us to comfortably host a large group of family and friends. Almost everyone who comes over comments on how great it looks and how much the overhang transformed the backyard. The entire project was a great experience. We used My Cali Builders helmed by Danny recently for our roofing and rain gutter project and are pretty much the envy of the neighborhood. We decided to up the ante and update our insulation and 70+yr old windows. Windows are ordered and I'll update that process when it's finished. our insulation was old, our house had a difficult time keeping the inside comfortable. the My Cali Builders crew was in and out-the insulations was striped are to the rafters and the new insulation was laid in quickly and professionally. Solomon's commitment, professional insight, meticulous attention, and hands on approach during the planning and execution has been invaluable to us. While he will execute your vision, he would also provide his own insight to help us think through any considerations as to why or why we shouldn't do something. Whether it was just not worth the cost, add value to our home/lifestyle or a find potential alternative/balance. The statement of work he provides is fully laid out and he explains line by line to ensure we're on the same page. Payments were scheduled for specific milestones. This was our first major remodel endeavor, so quite an exciting and scary process considering the potential investment and living adjustment during the process. We initially reached out to Solomon regarding adding square footage to our home. A 4' bump forward, adding an additional bedroom, and bumping the back of our house for a new kitchen. He was very clear up front of the overall process, timeline and expectations to ensure we knew the order of sequence of how the project would roll out. He spent a good 6 months with us during the planning and design phase, from engineering, blueprinting and permitting. We also visited some of his previous customers and talked to his customers and they all shared the same sentiment of his approach and quality of work. While we did not end up moving forward with the remodel, as we decided to purchase a new home, we did however need to get our home rent ready. This included a new roof, new gutters, stucco, paint exterior, retaining planter wall, new porch and backyard deck. Without question we stuck with Solomon and he was more than happy to work with us, while a smaller scope of work it was still quite a lot of moving parts. All while also re-leveling and tiling my mother in law's balcony. It's important to understand that any significant project requires a partnership and open communication. Bumps are expected but the open communication we had was all it took to make sure both parties were on the same page. It's also important to note that it's also my responsibility as the customer to be available and respond in a timely manner to ensure his teams stayed the course as key decision points. The end result was exactly as we expected. While we continue to search for a new house, we are now leveraging Solomon's expertise and he's assisting us in vetting houses that we may be interested in to ensure it's a sound investment I without a doubt highly recommend Solomon for any project you may have in the pipeline.
