So good, many of the ingredients are sourced locally, and they even offer Mexican‑style breakfast dishes. Chilaquiles is on point. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and the presentation was truly picturesque. Crow Nest has some serious competition for the best spot in the area.

I love breakfast. I particularly love trying new vegan breakfast options. This place is a winner. My server was Evangeline. She was so upbeat and she knew a lot. What she didn't know she went and got the answer which is always a plus. The building is accessible, however there is a sign directing you to another door Be careful if you are wearing a heeled shoe, it might get caught in the grates. The inside is very cozy. The menu has vegan items spread throughout and other items can be made to be vegan. Additionally, they have vegan marshmallows!

A casual restaurant offering made to order omelets , seasonal specials as well as many organic gluten free/vegan items . Open for breakfast and lunch. Staff super friendly. I had the Croissant Sandwich with Rosemary Ham, scrambled eggs topped with cheddar served with breakfast potatoes. Good portion and very tasty. My wife had the GF corned beef hash mixed with sweet potatoes topped with fried eggs. Super good! For good food,good service and fantastic coffee.. definitely give Greenhouse Cafe a try!

I highly recommend seeking out this really terrific restaurant in Kalamazoo. The staff is so friendly and kind. The menu offers so many options including vegan and gluten free items. I loved the industrial vibe combined with soft touches like fresh flowers and plants on the tables. Our server Ivan was so efficient but didn't rush us at all. He asked if I wanted jam for my gf toast and brought me a container of heavenly muti-berry jam. The portions are large but we cleaned our plates because everything was that good. Even the coffee was special (Infusco).This is a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or brunch on the weekends.

Wow wow wow. I had no idea this place existed until a friend encouraged a group of us to head over for lunch. Home run. The staff care about the guests and the food is fantastic. The owner came over to check in a couple times, and the place was HOPPING on a Thursday for lunch (always a good sign). My buddy shared a cool theory with me at this meal. He ordered their burger with a medium cook. He said that he always orders a burger for his first meal at a restaurant and because if they can nail the medium cook then they can probably handle other more technical orders, but if they can't handle a medium... When he got his burger, he declared (with shock) that Greenhouse Cafe has the best burger he has tasted in Kalamazoo. And that's a LOT of burgers. All three of us left extremely satisfied. Great job, Greenhouse Cafe!

This new brunch spot was fun to check out for a family member's birthday recently. We had a group of eight and we didn't have to wait long even though it was quite busy. The menu features a lot of tasty sounding items for breakfast and lunch, with a farm to table type focus. I knew they had opened recently so went in with some grace especially for service issues, which there were a few - they were running low on coffee for most of our visit, as well as coffee mugs, and our food did take longer than I'd expect to come out. However, our server was pleasant and friendly, and I loved the food! I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with chips (you can upgrade to soup or salad) and added the veggie of the day, which was sauteed zucchini. Nate got the chilaquiles, and other people in our group got the breakfast burrito, a salad, the lox omelette, breakfast plate, and pancakes. The grilled cheese sandwich was cheesy, toasted perfectly, and kind of basic, but I did like it. The zucchini was delicious but quite oily - I didn't mind though. It also had full cloves of caramelized garlic, which I personally loved. I noticed a few Yelp reviews commented on the chilaquiles, and luckily I was able to snag a few bites from Nate's plate - SO delicious. Very flavorful and saucy, just how I think it should be. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans, as well as some gluten free choices, making it a great place for a variety of dietary needs. I loved the food, and have faith that the service hiccups will improve. I'd love to stop in again when I'm back in town sometime!

I love this place! I have visited at least 3 times. It is a quaint little dive, the parking situation is terrible, but the food is worth it! Staff is very polite and attentive, the portion sizes are worth the cost (which is decent) and everything is so fresh! I will definitely put this place in my rotation of great local brunch spots.

Fine food, average service, higher than average price. Two eggs, one piece of toast, 3 pieces of Nueske bacon (a highlight), iced tea, tab of 19.50. It would have been higher if the young man serving had not warned me that they charge to refill tea. I finished my iced tea and water but did not order more. Pictures of what I had included.

After reading reviews I knew I needed to try this place out. I had the Huevos Rancheros & added chorizo and a side of breakfast potatoes. I can't even tell you how good it was. Out of this world. I don't recall what my husband had but I remember her loved it and so did I. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and also so tasty. The restaurant is very new, clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. I'd say if there is a wait to be seated, stay for the wait, you won't be disappointed!! I already can't wait to go back and visit again.

Delicious breakfast - variety dishes with Latin and American options all prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Greenhouse is the revitalized space Elysium used to occupy with convenient breakfast-lunch hours, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere (some areas may get a little loud when full given the acoustics of the building). The chilaquiles are some of the best two in the area, avocado toast generous and delicious, pancakes, sandwich and burrito options for those inclined and a selection of coffee + great desserts. Must try

Wonderful breakfast! Food is beautiful plated. Service is slow when they are busy but the food is worth the wait.
