Caramel Cheesecake Salted Poblano Pepper and Corned Beef Hash French Toast

Everything was very okay. Usually a 15-25 minute wait. Each time I go, the waitresses seem very busy and stressed but they are always nice. Wait times for service can a little long if the wait staff is sparse for refills/silverware/etc.. The building is pretty clean and modern looking, if not only a little mismatched. The food sadly was the most meh thing. They have a long menu with fantastic sounding daily specials or seasonal plates. They look phenomenal and the ingredients seem to be of good quality. However, the food feels hit or miss for me. I've only been twice - the first time the pecan waffles were very dry and crumbly no matter how much syrup was used, and the second thing was the Caramel cheesecake french toast. It had a strong flavor of poblano peppers to the bread, there was chorizo or corned beef hash burnt to the bottom of the food, and the apples were ultra salty and the whole thing was a bit dry. It was the saltiest french toast I've ever had. It was edible, but just a hint of wrong flavors each bite. Overall, it's okay - I just wouldn't recommend the sweet breakfast items, maybe the savory breakfast items are better.

1/2 order 11. Biscuits and Gravy

First time visiting here. Had a short 20 minute wait to be seated which is pretty normal on a Sunday. The waitress was very nice and made sure to keep our coffee filled up. We always like to try the biscuits and gravy wherever we go so we ordered just a half order so we could try it. It was very good. Not number one on my list but still very good. The Benny's were delicious!! My mom ordered the traditional and it was great. The ham was delicious and thick. I ordered the BST Benny and it was awesome!! Fried green tomatoes on top... perfect!! The bacon was thick and crunchy. The hash browns were PERFECT!! Just the right amount of crunchy!! We will definitely be back to try some of the other wonderful looking things on the menu!!

Roxie's is located where Michelle's on Gull Road once resided. Good, basic breakfast. Our server, whose name I didn't catch, was very sweet and personable. Husband ordered the corned beef breakfast ($9.99) and I ordered the one meat, hashbrowns and toast. ($7.99) You could tell the "regulars" were all there in full force as everyone seemed to know each other. I imagine they were holdovers from Michelle's. Restaurant was clean and had all your standard breakfast fare.

600 is such a cute place for a lovely meal!…read more We have been multiple times but stopped in on a recent sunny afternoon for some lunch. 600 is so light and airy, we really love the atmosphere!! We had a really great waitress, I wish I would have gotten her name! She was doing the job of hostess and waitress to multiple tables, and doing it all very well! We ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad for our lunch entrees! Both were very good and presented very well! While the food is good and quality feels high - the price is also on the high side. For a sandwich and a salad, waters to drink, we spent over $50 for our lunch! Just something to be aware of! While we had time - the experience was not fast. Something to be aware of if needing a quick lunch. The restaurant was not overly busy but the wait was a little long to receive our order. I ordered a salmon salad - the menu nor the website specify if the salmon is wild caught or farmed. I would really love to know this information - the price would be much better reflected if it were indeed wild caught. :)

The service was on the slower side and could have used more attention to detail--coffee refills were missed, and we didn't have spoons to stir our coffee. That said, our server was kind and had a gentle, pleasant demeanor. The food overall was very good. Only one person in our group was disappointed--the chicken and waffles were described as dry, with the chicken coating lacking flavor. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, and the desserts were a standout; they were excellent and loved by all. One area that could use improvement is the upstairs bathroom. While it was well stocked with supplies, it needed cleaning. Clear signage for the upstairs restroom and perhaps a nice piece of artwork would also be welcome touches. Overall, a nice brunch experience with great desserts and room for a few improvements.

Our family ordered a wide variety of dishes (steak, pork chop, salmon, rainbow trout, swedish meatballs) and everyone thought their dinner was wonderful. Principle also served butter noodles and grilled cheese for the children in the party. The fish of the day (rainbow trout) and the Seared Halloumi appetizer plate were especially delightful.

Great menu with lots of variety! Great drink menu! Everything we've tried has been great!! This spot is definitely worth a stop! (If only the downtown parking situation wasn't such a beast! But High Dive is worth the feat of finding a nearby spot!) I highly recommend the wings - some of the best we've had in town!! We love doing half and half: lemon pepper and sweet heat with the ranch and blue cheese! Their fries are also way good!! Regular or their truffle style!! Instead, we had to endure a staff that not only was rude, but willfully neglectful. She had only one other table and, yet, our server, Katlyn, never checked with us unless we forced her to acknowledge us. She avoided eye contact at all costs. Ten minutes with empty drinks and we finally got her attention. My wife asked for another beer and she ran off before I could even ask for another of my drink! The dinner was terrible. My wife's Blackened Bleu Steak ($32) was so bad that she took two bites and set it aside. The food was overcooked and salty. My Olive Cheese Smash Burger ($16) was the same. When we called for the check, the waitress did not even question that the food was nearly untouched on our plates. There are so many great restaurants in the area. Save yourself the hellacious experience of the HighDive Kitchen + Bar.
