We stopped here for some breakfast after an appointment in the area. I had been to another Anna's House before but it was a first for someone else. The parking is a bit limited around the business but fortunately has a large parking lot behind it, which is shared by other businesses. The interior is bright and clean with many windows on the roadside of the building letting in a lot of light. There was ample seating and you didn't feel crammed in at your table. There are booths as well, if that is your preference. Our waitress was friendly, prompt and efficient. We couldn't have asked for more. We were seated right away and got our food almost as fast. Time was not an issue. The food! The waffles with chicken were delicious. It was like dessert the whole time. It comes with cinnamon butter on it and some syrup, which I didn't use as the butter was sweet enough. The chicken was good but could have been just a hair bigger. That being said, I was full when done. The eggs Benedict was good with the corned beef being shredded instead of canned. All the food was delicious. It will run you a bit more than some other breakfast joints, but worth it on occasions. Our two entries with a 22% tip was just over $40. We will be back to an Anna's House in the future. read more

Rather than giving us a table when we had a group that included a child, they put us at a booth and acted like it was a big deal to switch it. Got great food. Thanks to the abysmal seating, when switching parents to care for our son, we had to switch seating at the table. Distracted from having a child, I left without collecting my cufflinks off the table. The place is just ok. The service was friendly and on training mode, which is ok if you are not in a rush. I ordered the avocado toast, and that was a mistake coming from California. The avocado had already changed color, the toast was blah, and overall it didn't have much flavor. The placed was full of what I thought it was local people, so I am sure they have dishes that excel. My dad and I went to Anna's House for brunch today, October 31. We were seated promptly and that is the best part of our experience. We waited and waited but our waitress did not come to get our drink order. After about 10 minutes a waitress from an adjacent section came over and said she was not our waitress but would take our drink order for us. A few minutes later a different lady came and put our drinks on the table, so I asked if she was our waitress as she didn't say anything (which is why I do not know her name). She took our food order and then we got to wait again and watch as food was being taken to other tables. We did not see our waitress at all, not even at other tables, and our view was where we were watching the servers go in and out of the kitchen. After 25 minutes the waitress from the adjacent section came over to us again and said that she was trying to find her manager. We waited 5 more minutes hoping for the manager to appear and my dad decided that we needed to leave. He said that IF our waitress even put in our order, that our food would have been sitting and cold. I agreed and we went to the hostess stand to pay for our drinks. While we were explaining to the hostess what had transpired, here comes our waitress asking us what was wrong. My dad was so upset that he said "We are leaving!" I told her that we were going to pay for our drinks and she said there was no need, so we left. I really appreciate the waitress that was in the adjacent section and if management has any doubts about what I have written, they can check with her. She obviously realized that there was a problem. I only wish I remembered her name. Unlike our waitress, she gave us her name when she first came over to try and help us. read more

Being that this place is one of the few places that I can go for being vegan to find a decent plant-based meal, for some reason today I'm not sure if they had a new cook inside, or either being that I ordered my food at 2:00 and they close at 3:00 , made me feel as if they rushed it. Normally when I order my food I always get a vegan Chipotle Bowl with a side of extra vegan eggs, but when I got my food today the eggs seem a little greasy, the food wasn't seasoned AT ALL, I literally had to come home in season my own food, and when I mean no season at all it felt as if there were NONE. Anna's House is such an inviting space! It's so bright and friendly, we truly love the atmosphere here! We used the yelp waitlist check-in and that was a fabulous choice! Our table was ready when we arrived and our party of 5 was quickly seated! Our waitress was Lizzy, I believe. I wish I could remember her name for sure. She was a wonderful waitress from the moment we arrived until the moment we left! She was so friendly and kind, had a sweet smile the entire time she served us! She was truly the highlight of our time at Anna's House!! We ordered five entrees and a cinnamon roll for the table to share. Unfortunately none of our meals were amazing. :( The cinnamon roll, while a good size, was hard and crunchy instead of warm and soft. The Eggs Benedict was the best thing we ordered. The English muffin was above average - soft and fluffy, and the hollandaise sauce was tasty! 2 of our people ordered the big breakfast. Most of the times were just ok but the pancakes were a hit! They were fresh and good! Everyone in our party ordered entrees that included the American potatoes. Each of us felt that this side dish option was very poorly prepared. Some of the potatoes were less than cooked through, some were mushy, it seemed like they were boiled and then served without proper seasoning or perhaps a quick pan fry for the texture we were used here. They were so bad that several members of our party asked to switch to the hash browns. Our super nice waitress was so accommodating with this request and had fresh hash browns out quickly! The other items were ordered, the Chipotle Southwest bowl and the Wet Breakfast burrito were just ok. Neither one is something we would order again. The prices are on the high side - we felt like the food quality/taste did not match the price points. We used to really enjoy Anna's House! We went to Anna's House today for lunch. I was there when they first opened and wasn't impressed. It was time to try it again. The service was ok. Not friendly but adequate. We both ordered quesadillas but different ones. I ordered veggies and it was really good. So much more veggies than most other restaurants. I've had quesadillas at a lot of the chain restaurants and they are very disappointing because it was tortillas and had to look very hard to find other fillings. Or taste them. I've been to several locations and this one, so far, seems to be the most consistent. I usually eat vegan and gluten free ((not always but most of the time)). The V/GF cinnamon roll in other locations has not been impressive at all but here it has been perfection every time I've ordered it. Our granddaughter love's Anna's house so we took her to celebrate her birthday. The hostess and servers were very friendly and provided good service throughout; our waitress Bri was great. But the food, not so good. I ordered a special they had, called a Farmer's Biscuit Sandwich, and it was served with the chicken overcooked, actually black on one side. Our server had another one made and it came black on both sides. The gravy was just okay, the biscuit had no flavor. The egg was all right. I was not charged for my order and chose not to order anything else. I tasted my granddaughter's pancakes and french toast; really not that good. I always feel it is hard to mess up breakfast food but this was just food that lacked flavor or anything to make it tasty. My wife took me out for Father's Day and I said I wanted to go to Anna's House. As we expecting we had a wait due to the special day. It was about 40 min. And it was surprisingly accurate! We ordered right away as we had a chance to look at their menu online. I had the Breakfast Burrito with hash browns, and my wife has pancakes with 2 eggs and bacon. Not surprisingly the food took a while to come from the kitchen. But everything was hot and tasted just great! I especially loved the 3 different sides with the burrito. The red sauce was the best on the burrito. And I loved the sausage eggs and cheese used to make it. My wife also loved her pancakes! They were nice and fluffy without being rubbery. Her eggs were perfect. And the bacon was cooked perfectly! However our server was so overwhelmed with the Father's Day crowd she hardly checked on us. We had to talk to 2 separate workers in order to get our box and bill. Having worked in a restaurant in my youth (18-20 yo) I can understand how overwhelmed she was today. But it and only it was my reason for the 4 stars rather than a 5 star rating. I'm sure on any other day it would be different. Been here a few times, but this time I decided I was over this place. Yeah they have a lot of menu items and the food is decent, but it's decent at best. For a place that claims "voted #1 breakfast in Michigan" I thought it to be better food, and better service. My girlfriend and I came here at 10:30am and waited for roughly 50 minutes to an hour for seating because of the wait. Once we sat down it took 40 minutes from the time we sat down to the time we got our food. Our server didn't really check up on us during our time. Maybe once, and she didn't ask if we would like refills. My girlfriend and I had the pancake combo, two pancakes and two eggs with a choice of meat. My girlfriend chose turkey bacon which we found out later was an additional charge on top of the $13.25 for the COMBO. No mention on the menu it'd be an additional charge. When we got our food, it was cold and the restaurant was backed up on silverware. Voted #1 breakfast in Michigan? We waited 5 minutes after our food arrived to receive silverware. The pancakes were definitely a box mix and the sausage links I had looked like the sausage links I was served in middle school. Overall this place has some decent options but isn't the best. Especially since this place is more pricey than competitors around it. The food doesn't stand out at all and it feels that all you get for coming here are more options than you'd normally find. Won't be coming here again, and I'll save a quite a lot of cash dining elsewhere. read more
