We had Ecogenie come out to our new place and do a duct and deep clean (including carpets) before our furniture arrived - late July of 2019. I picked Ecogenie because of the 5 star rating on Yelp and Google. To be honest, I have to admit I was a little suspicious of the rating since ~99% of all ratings are, at best, about 4.5 stars. I was also suspicious that they wouldn't live up to the hype and my wife's very high standards of cleanliness - she has fired 3 different cleaning companies (after giving each several tries to get it right) in the last 5 years. I was pleasantly surprised when my wife later excitedly called me and told me that this crew was awesome and thanked my for picking such a thoroughly good company for the deep clean. She told me that the crew actually went through and cleaned each of the crystals in the the chandelier, dusted the window sills without being asked, moved out the fridge to clean behind it, etc. Prior to them coming out, I had several conversations with Rich at Ecogenie, which were very good and he assured me that that would do whatever it took to make us happy. They arrived on time (important!), and had all the right equipment in their van. I'm not talking about your standard department store equipment, but they had real industrial strength/sized equipment for duct cleaning, carpet cleaning, a gas power air compressor which they had in the back yard, etc. It was impressive. They put on shoe covers and there was no damage to the house when they finished. The carpets took a bit more than 24 hours to dry, and was helped with some dehumidifiers we had. I would say that they definitely lived up to their promise and their 5 star rating and would not hesitate to use them again in the future. read more

Ecogenie is the only company I found that can do a comprehensive post construction cleaning. They are a one stop solution to clear out all the construction dust and contaminants after your construction project. Rich and his entire crew were great, respectful of my house and very thorough. They spent two days at my house, the first day they spend the whole day cleaning my 2 HVAC systems, and the next day they came in to do the deep cleaning. They left the air purifier running all night to make sure they capture any air contaminants after the HVAC cleaning. Rich made sure that I'm happy with the result before he asked for any payment and he even came back the next day to clean again the attic which was particularly dusty. read more

I have elderly parents and live far away and unfortunately the cleaning service in their independent living residence is subpar. Absolutely amazing service! They have great communication and made our rug look BRAND NEW for a great price. The rug is thick sheep skin-like synthetic material so I was concerned it couldn't be easily cleaned. It was grey and matted with dirt and now it back to being white and fluffy. Ecogenie was easy to schedule, sent over experienced, professional staff and I'm very happy about the increase in my air quality and efficiency of my hvac unit. Most of these reviews are about air quality and carpet cleaning and I wanted to leave a review to highlight ANOTHER service Eco Genie provides. On a Thursday, I heard what I thought were bird chirps coming from my dryer and I thought they may have gotten in the exhaust vents. I went out of town Fri-Mon and returned to find a terrible smell coming from my dryer...I knew the poor birds probably died, due to the temperature. I called Rich early Tuesday morning and he and Mario came out during the lunch hour. Not only did they remove the birds, the nest and the maggots, they discarded everything without me seeing a peep. They thoroughly disinfected my dryer and flex line and gave me pointers on how to keep the birds from returning through the exterior vents. As a true "girlie girl," I can't say enough about their discretion, efficiency and professionalism in making my home feel like a home again. So grateful they provide such a service that I would NEVER be able to handle myself!
