Went in solely because it looked like a Jack's Coffee store. Fully branded along side the Greenology branding. A brand I used to think pretty well of. Got a cold brew. Nothing special. But what got the one star was that they will not put ANY milk whatsoever in your coffee without a 50 cent up-charge. It's already a pet peeve of mine when a coffee shop charges for a 'splash' of any milk (even non-dairy) because the cost for a half an ounce is negligible with a $6 coffee. BUT I want to be clear, I asked specifically and a second time to be sure we weren't misunderstanding each other. A splash of whole milk, skim milk, whatever.... All 50 cents. You have to drink the coffee black or there's an up-charge!! Might as well get a splash of the fancy milk.... That's just a pure insult to customers and I'm fine dishing out the one star because I'll clearly never be back. read more

Super cute little whole in the wall in Main Street. Parking is rough as it's on street only. The food was amazing we ordered online and went in to pick it up. The Mediterranean bowl was super flavorful and the baked falafels had lots of flavor. My co worker enjoyed the tacos and was super happy how they were packaged as not to get soggy. Everything had great taste and spicy was just right. They offer all types of lattes and desserts that are vegan too. We will definitely be back to try some of the sweet treats and other entrees They do take credit card and the pricing is a bit steep but you get what you pay for! read more

I work in New Canaan and this is my go to spot! They make the best shakes, rush hour is my favorite! I got everyone at my job hooked! More than just their great shakes, and vegan food options, I go there because I am always immediately greeted with a smile and the best service! I went here when it first open and the veggie burger was pretty good. The smoothie was very good. The other day the juice didn't taste at all of the ginger, or the lemon as ordered. 9 bucks. The Italian meatball sandwich had a very off flavor... The roll was hard/stale. The mushroom spinach cheese ques. was dripping with oil. It was greasier than a slice of pizza. The Beyond meat tacos were SO spicy they were hard to eat --- I think they dropped the entire hot pepper shaker in, because it didn't say 'hot/spicy' when ordering? $52 bucks for 3 take-out meals, the juice..and well.... One of the best vegan places I've been to, what an amazing variety to choose from on the menu! I got the Nourish Bowl, which was exactly that - warm, nourishing, filling and tasty with portobello meatballs, cashew cheese, quinoa, spinach, and more. Ended up buying a few meals to go (I'm not from the area) as well as desserts and loved everything. The Kale Caesar was I'd be broke if this place was near my home, lol. read more

The food is really good here. Easy pickup and takeout. They do have seating indoors and out but that's not my thing. I've had great experiences ordering online but the one time I ordered in person they somehow did my order after the six people behind me. They have the worst manager I have ever encounter. I had to place my order twice today and after a VERY LONG wait (placed my order at 10:35am and it was delivered at 12:46pm) they had handed the wrong order to the driver! This wouldn't normally be a problem to me because I have worked at the restaurant industry before so I understand mistakes happen all the time, the problem is that I called to see if they still had my food so I could still get it and the manager wouldn't even listen to what I was trying to tell him. He was talking over me and being really rude to me AND the driver. When I suggested that they were who made the mistake, this "manager" started to scream at me so I had to hang up the phone to make him stop. I tried to call several times after that because I still wanted to try this food so bad but they kept hanging up the phone on me over and over again. read more

This is a disappointing review because usually I love greenology but the past 3-4 times I've attended I've been really let down. I always stick to a smoothie and or acai bowl for a pre/post workout bite and recently the drinks have been tasting like flavored ice instead of fruity. Barely any flavor at all. Don't get me wrong, I love this place, it's the only vegan place in town and the food is great. That being said, they just raised their prices 15-25% on everything. Some restaurants in the area apply a 5-7% TEMPORARY inflation fee to the bill (again, not ideal but understandable), but a 20% increase overnight on every single items for food that wasn't inexpensive to begin with is going to drive a lot of people away, which is unfortunate. read more

I love Greenology! I'd say I am a regular at this point. I started coming because of the the fresh juices - I swear I've had more energy since I started getting a vitamin c blend every morning! I branched out to food and everything is really tasty. I'm gluten free, and they have plenty of options I like, and I've never been "glutened." This morning, I ordered the tofu scramble with extra peppers and no spinach and ... gf toast, which is a real test of gluten safety. No problems! Great food great smoothies but IT WILL TAKE AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERYTIME TO GET YOUR FOOD OR DRINK EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO LINE, and that's when they get your order right. this place is great. the staff are all really sweet and genuinely care. They will give you advice if you are new to the place as well which I think is really cool. They are respectful and never nasty. I saw another review stating otherwise, but as a regular I have always been treated with the upmost respect and therefore I have actually began to know the staff instead of making negative assumptions. my favourite restaurant in connecticut. my husband and i pick up from here frequently. their pizzas are great, i usually opt for the margherita (sometimes add jalapeño), and my husband prefers their italian combo style pizza. however the mushroom one is also excellent and the new buffalo cauliflower is pretty good as well as the buffalo cauliflower wrap. could be spicier for me personally but i have a high spice tolerance. their "tuna" is delicious, and their falafel sandwich is really fresh and good! i've also tried their quesadilla which tastes great but is a little messy to eat without a fork and knife. i also wouldn't mind a little more pico de gallo on the side, it's good! we've also tried some of the cookie and brownie offerings and they're good but they taste more on the healthy side which is a pro or a con depending on the person i guess. but in summation, we love this place. oh, and the staff are very friendly. read more
