Excellent cuisine and a friendly setting! Definitely worth visiting, and ideal for a family get-together.

The pictures I'm posting are for the new Darien location- which I couldn't find a Yelp page for. Same owners and food though! SO... Fresh vegetables, fresh food, friendly service with a smile. I work next door and the staff is so personable and nice! All the salads are individually unique and the place does great if you want to switch something up! The smoothies are also amazing. Love the strawberry milkshake and kale energy smoothie! The veggie sandwich is FILLED with vibrant fresh veggies and will have you full for hours! Don't forget the cheesy broccoli quesadillas as well! I recommend this for greens on the go! :) read more

Really great. I've been searching for a reliable wfh lunch salad place and i think I might have found it. I've only tried 2 of the salads, and for both, the ingredients were super fresh and the dressings seemed like they were homemade. Also loved that they were a straight $12 each. Note though - they took a solid 10 minutes to make. I'm looking forward to trying more! read more

Since the beginning of the pandemic (March 2020) this place has been the go-to for our office's lunch orders because they are right downstairs from our office. Aside from convenience, we enjoy their healthy options for lunch and this is probably why we had continued to order from here even though there have been MANY bumps along the ride. We have endured many interesting scenarios from the typical normal missing items and messed up orders to more not-so-typical scenarios, receiving surprises in our salads... receipts, and bugs. However, what really has stunned us and pushed us away from ordering from here is the lack of respect for loyal customers. My best advice... approach at your own risk. read more

This is heart damaging food posing as "health food". They use a very unhealthy, inflammatory canola oil in EVERYTHING. From the salad dressings to the cooked dishes. I know because I asked. The veggies they use are not organically grown. I loved everything they make here. It's natural and all fresh made foods that are unique flavor combinations as well as well thought out. If you want to be transported from all the commercial eateries for a delicious and healthy meal, Greens on the Go is the destination. From the friendly atmosphere to cool vibe, it's a shame to just do takeout. The back area and deck are welcoming with its organic decor and cool music. Oh, and the food! Ordered a veggie sandwich for takeout and waited patiently in the dining area. After 20 minutes I walked to the checkout and asked politely for my food. The girl took my name and then walked away... no follow up, no 'it will be right out'... nothing. At 35 minutes the cashier spotted me and again asked for my name - at this point the dining area was quite empty. She could not find my sandwich... a veggie sandwich that required no cooking. I had to ask for my refund and walk away. As someone who also works in the food service industry I can tell you that the standard time you should have to wait is 7 minutes. What a great find for healthy and delicious salads! I highly recommend the green summer bowl and the Caribbean bowl! The black bean bowl, unfortunately, was lacking in flavor. But we will be going back to this place checking out their other salads, reasonable pricing for New Canaan. read more

Go to Darien location. This place is poorly run. Not nearly as good and same price. Idk what's going on here, but 3 times here have been ok, Darien tastes way better. The employees are also miserable which makes sense why everything is worse here. read more

Not really sure which one is my favorite but I still have a few yet to go. I'm leaning toward anything with the green goddess on it. The sassy water is also a nectar from the gods. HORRIBLE customer service! I went to pick up my order 45 minutes after i placed it and when i told the OWNER that i was there to pick up my order she rudely told me they needed 45 minutes since it was a large order. When I mentioned it had been 45 minutes she indicated that she was busy with other orders. I understand that people get busy, but I cannot understand/support a business that treats you like you are a bother to them. Especially since the order was $250...for salads. read more

Yummy salads and smoothies! Fresh, local ingredients, good variety on the menu. Great addition to Fairfield County where I have trouble finding a good salad. My favorites are the Classic Caesar salad and the Blue Velvet smoothie. read more

Honestly so thankful for this place. I'm bicoastal and Greens on the Go reminds me of home (SoCal) soo much. Their salads are delish, but their grain bowls are my fave. They have a LOT of vegan options and you can actually SIT DOWN to eat your meal- unlike a lot of other healthy eateries in the area. Love it here. read more
