However, I believe there is a two hour limit. If you plan to come for brunch on the weekends, make sure to reserve a table ahead of time because it fills up fast! There was a line out the door as I left. I ordered the southern breakfast with the grits and bacon from the menu, however, they offered plenty of brunch specials as well. The portions are plenty filling, offering generous servings that leave you satisfied without feeling like you need anything extra. I would love to come back and try some of their dinner options.

To make sure the order was clear, I wrote in the notes "half pep / half cheese." They followed another note I included -- "dressing on the side" for my salad -- so I know the notes were read. But the pizza arrived with half pepperoni and the other half was just dough with barely any sauce and no cheese at all. I called expecting they would fix it, especially since we order from here constantly and this was clearly just a misunderstanding. Instead, the owner refused to send another pizza unless I paid for a whole new one, and he wouldn't come to the phone to speak with me. Even if the online selector caused the confusion, the note was printed right on the receipt -- they could have easily made it right. After years of supporting this place, I'm honestly really disappointed. A small mistake turned into a terrible customer service experience because of the refusal to fix it.

Traditional ramen broth relies on deep umami and natural flavors, but this tasted heavily artificial and sweet to the point of being inedible. While the "build-your-own-bowl" concept is great and the staff are friendly, the execution on the ramen stock just isn't there. I'd suggest sticking to their stir-fried dishes or traditional Chinese menu items, but unfortunately I've not found them to be much better than the Ramen.

BUT I want to be clear, I asked specifically and a second time to be sure we weren't misunderstanding each other. A splash of whole milk, skim milk, whatever.... All 50 cents. You have to drink the coffee black or there's an up-charge!! Might as well get a splash of the fancy milk....
