Great service. Good sandwiches. I don't love the soups. $10 per sandwich. Will return.

Tried their peanut butter squares at a potluck. Seriously tasty, though who doesn't like peanut butter.

Choo choo!! A train that delivers your food?! What an amazing little deli and cafe. My kids *loved* it. They wanted to order more delicious sandwiches and muffins just so the Canadian National would bring it to our table. There are an overwhelming amount of things to order on their menu so I went with a cheese croissant which was tasty. The staff is friendly and seem to know all of their customers. I'll definitely be back. Leona even let my daughter's sock monkey sit on the train for a photo! This place is a gem in Sapperton.

THE SOUP NAZI!!! Serving soup for charity. He stayed in character the whole time! Screaming NEXT and NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!

Wicked Thai chicken soup was very satisfying!!! This place hosted "the soup nazi" from Seinfeld as a charity fundraiser for fighting BC fires. The line was long but the staff stayed friendly and personable. After the long 2 hour wait met to meet The Soup Nazi the soup did not disappoint! I ordered the Wicked Thai soup. It was delicious! Next time in the area I will most definitely stop by for more Wicked Thai. Pleasantly surprised by this little hole in the wall.

Lunch Greens and Beans Deli New Westminster (across from Royal Columbia Hospital) Deli Casual Family friendly Service excellent Food excellent Free parking lot https://www.greensandbeansdeli.com Craving attacks for Leona's comfort foods lead me to drive straight to Greens and Beans. Why? 1. The never seen before variety of sandwiches! This last visit I was too lazy to read the menu, so I asked for some thing with bacon and turkey and they have exactly what I wanted...by name! Feels like all the sandwiches were custom made for anyone! 2. The soups are da bomb . She would have at least 3 kinds daily pipping hot! People would just to take them home as part of their dinner! Which one's my favorite? All of them but psst...try the Thai if you can't decide. 3. The Chilli! This deserves a category on on its own! After my lunch, I took a large bowl home for dinner and transferred into a bowl that has gold "Love you" on it! Sometimes I add some cheese too! Even my pup can't stop drooling ! Ok enuf said, just the !!!! 4. Value! The amount of potion and prices are not something that I can just go and buy from a grocery store and DIY! Leona puts so much ingredients & effort in her food, including her famous scones and sweet treats that makes cooking myself seems like a chore. 5. The ambiance. I remember the first time I was there, the sandwich was delivered to me by a train! What a surprise! It brought out the kid in me! I notice the energy is amazing in this old tiny place. Patrons from all walks of life come and left with smiles or a vibe that's happy (I don't know how to describe that). 6. The heart . Leona Green is well known in the community for her charity work not only in the New West community but also overseas! I'm amazed by her small profit (judging from her food prices and the food cost these days) yet, unselfishly give to those in need such as donation drives for Lytton fire victims, the homeless, free scones/food to drive donation participations and 3rd world countries! It's a shame that recently that she had to stop baking because her 16 yr old oven broke down. She can't bake until it's fixed or buy a new one which either way is a large expense. I really home that she will get the support she needs by having even more customers. Whenever I come, I feel that I'm not Just supporting the locals, with Greens and Beans, I'm supporting something even greater! Please take your time to view all the photos and even google this place! #deli #chili #sandwiches #bakery #soup #salad #supportlocal Kindly comment / recommend your favorites from here! *This review was based on my personal opinion subjected to my taste, experience and expectations. I do not expect the same opinion from everyone else specially if establishments aren't always consistent. I receive no kickbacks. All honest sharing and thoughts will be respected*

Right up front, I'm going to say that I am a regular here, right down to having my picture on the wall along with about 100 others. Now that I've got that out of the way... Greens & Beans offers up an excellent assortment of sandwiches and a rotating list of tasty soups. As mentioned by other reviewer's, there's a love affair with Larry Thomas' Soup Nazi character - from the picture in the window to a triggered "No Soup for You!" sound-bite you'll probably get to hear at least once during a visit. The Jeopardy theme will be played at least once as well, depending on how slow people are while ordering.... you've been warned. The atmosphere is very home-style and the constant banter reminds me of a family kitchen table. The owner has cultivated and crafted this over the past 17 years and three different locations and she's got it down solid. The food quality is second to none. The sandwiches are crafted to order -- no pulling of pre-made sandwiches from a cooler here. The soup selection is constantly rotating so you're not stuck staring at the same boring thing for a week. There's also a decent selection of other lunchable items in the cooler if a sandwich isn't your fancy. To sum it up -- this is a great spot to go for lunch. I strongly recommend a visit.

It literally changed our lives, and that is not an exaggeration. We get their pumpkin flax gluten free loaf and are never turning back. I, personally, am not allergic to gluten but this is still my favourite bread. Ever. We turn all of our friends on to their products and can happily say we have converted a fair share of people over to 6th ave bread. While we mainly get their fluffy delicious bread (at least a couple loafs per week) they also have other products that are to die for. First, they make hamburger and hotdog buns out of the same ingredients they make our bread from, which is super convenient for us. They also have a bunch of treats (chocolates, tarts, etc.) in the store which I often treat myself to whenever I go in to pick up bread. This is heaven for people with food allergies, especially gluten, but to be honest it's heaven for everyone else as well. They've got us hooked and are definitely doing something right!

I came here to try their lasagna but wrong day for that, they are serving something else on this day, unfortunately that special of the day is only up to 2;30 and I came almost 3 pm. Aside from lasagna I came for the famous milkshake. I ordered ham, cheese, tomato and lettuce sandwich plus the soup of the day bacon chowder, I wanted to try the tuna salad but again its done so the server ended up giving a quinoa salad for free. Busy place considering its covid-19 era so only 4 person inside the store at a time. Few seating inside, the café is very relaxing and for some reason I felt peace and very calm. The only noise you can hear inside were the sounds of returned bottle glasses for milk while people putting them on cases.... Interesting displays and interior designs, since its family owned I can tell that most of the displays in here were things they had when they were kids, nice stuffs very interesting .Those memorabilias made me smile, that feeling a heart truly appreciated. The sandwhich I had was okay, the soup was very good as well, hot and creamy, the quinoa salad is just okay for me its just ordinadry but not bad. Heres come something funny, I placed an order and clearly I wanted a strawberry milkshake, but what was serve was plain milkshake, I believed this was an honest mistake so I did not say anything, it was good though but maybe I ill be best if its strawberry. Wifi is free as well as parking and lots of them no worries. Service is warm and very friendly...kudos guys.... Not bad for group, family and kids. B careful if you are using a GPS coming here, wrong street and turn ....I don't know why?....... I will still come back here and bring some friends.. hope this time I will get the right milkshake.
